I think my water just broke
"Harry get your fat arse off me!"
A deep voice grumbled, everyone suddenly rushed back in once they heard the familiar shouting of Mrs Black.
"HALF BREEDS AND BLOOD TRAITORS GET THESE FILTHS AWAY FROM HERE! Not you Mr Riddle, your father was a visionary. DIRTY MUDBLOO-" once again she was silenced, Older Matteo held a hand out helping Hermione off the floor, the brunette becoming something of a sister to him, much to everyone's surprise.
"Theo?" Matteo sighed in relief as his eyes met with his pregnant wife's. The two pulled each other into a desperate embrace "are you okay?" He knew how hard it would've been to see her father again especially after blaming herself for his death. "I'm perfect" she smiled genuinely as he placed a hand on her stomach, "what about Matteo Jr?" He grinned as she rolled her eyes "we're not naming him that but he's fine" the two shared a brief kiss being interrupted by their one and only daughter.
"Daddy!" Sofia cheered rushing to hug her aged father. "Thank Merlin your okay" he hugged her stroking the back of her hair. The rest of the children followed straight after.
"Uncle Ron!"
"Aunt hermione"
"Thank god my parents aren't here"
"Mum!"
"Uncle Harry! I'm fine"
"Uncle Theo I've got some tea"
"You will not believe the things this little slug has been doing to Sofia" younger Matteo said from behind younger cassie.
"He knows his punishment" Ginny reminded him, "he's also getting no quidditch for a month!" James' jaw slacked, "what? Mum! Oliver will actually die, quidditch season is starting in a couple weeks!"
"You should have thought about that before you decided to send your family and friends 25 years into the past!" Her voice was loud and bellowed over the others. "Is now really the time to shout at me mummy?" He asked her sweetly.
"Don't try sweet talking me or I'll do more than just take Sofia away" she threatened and he instantly shut up.
"No need for that Gin, so when were you going to tell me about your little relationship?" Matteo asked an unknowing smirk on his face.
"The same time you were going to tell us you knew about it the whole time" James mumbled. Sofia glared at him in disbelief "you knew and you didn't tell me" James raised his hands in defense "why do you think I was trying to kill Louis in the first place?"
"Why is it the same reaction everytime? I don't know why we're so scared? Dad James is my boyfriend get over it, that means no hexing him, or scaring him or starting rumors" Sofia looked at her father ignoring the side eye her boyfriend gave fighting off the smile from remembering all the times he tried finding out who was spreading the rumors.
"Fine, as long as he doesn't touch you or kiss you" Matteo thought he was being reasonable with his terms. "He's my boyfriend obviously he's going to do all that, what is me doing this-" she paused to hug James "that painful to see?"
"Yes actually I think I'm feeling vomit come up my throat" he motioned to his face fanning it lightly. Sofia looked around the room who were just watching amused, no one trying to step in or break up this father daughter argument.
"Mum!" She pleaded her mother begging for some sort of intervention. "Leave them be, they love each other" younger cassie spoke up, all eyes landed on the couple.
"Actually Sofia didn't say it back" rose muttered quietly but they all heard, Matteo looked at her in confusion. "See you're defending someone you don't even love!"
Sofia sighed, "I do I just can't say it because I know you're not happy, and for someone reason I have this desperate need for your approval" her words were quiet but firm, she left the room seconds later refusing to cry in front of any of them despite them being her family.
Matteo looked at her confused and hurt, she didn't want to love someone because he didn't want her to, his own worst nightmare had come true. "I'm being Sirius, oh God! I'm a terrible father" he gasped in realization.
Sirius glared at him offended "hey!" Cassie rolled her eyes at him "he's not wrong" older Cassie rubbed her husbands back comfortingly. "Like all fathers you went too far with your over protectiveness, so go and sort it out and I'll make sure Harry doesn't start crying once he stops investing in the drama" she told him eyeing the man she called her brother, watching his eyes begin to glisten with tears as they examined every alive member of his so called family.
Harry couldn't believe he was seeing them again and unlike Cassie he ran to hug his godfather, his emotions getting the better of him. She smiled sadly as she watched her father light up and examine how much he'd grown in the future.
"Do they know..?" Older ginny whispered and she nodded "and a lot more, we definitely need to obliviate them" she muttered back quietly as to not alarm anyone.
Sofia was sat up in the attic, she was sure no one would come up there afraid to face the wrath of the pregnant woman who claimed it.
She was startled when he father casually came and sat down as if he wasn't scared of her mother, which to be fair he wasn't.
"I'm not talking to you" she quietly mumbled continuing to pick at the floor. "You don't have to, I'm here to say sorry love" he sighed rubbing his face, not once had his daughter been mad at him in her entire life.
"When I was with your mother at that age I know what it was like, she couldn't love anyone because her father had diminished all feeling of love she had, she didn't know what love was because she never felt it, not from Sirius or anyone else. I guess I just got scared that you'd be the same, so I tried to love you as much as I could and I didn't realize I was taking you away from experiencing it yourself. When your mother fell in love with me she left her family for me, you need to understand I didn't do it intentionally I just didn't want it to happen to me, but your happiness is the most important thing, Sofi I want you to be happy and if it's with a Potter" he grimaced at the thought "then so be it" he was breathing heavily after the word vomit he let out at once.
Sofia didn't say anything as she stared at him for a while processing his words, she understood why he did it and that he didn't mean to, and she felt overwhelming pride when he apologized because let's be honest, Matteo Riddle doesn't apologize to anyone.
Slowly she hugged her father, Matteo sighed in relief as he held his daughter, "thank you" she whispered as he stroked her hair, a habit he had picked up since she was a toddler.
She pulled back slightly "you know I'm never going to leave you right? You're like my best friend" she giggled when she saw him roll his eyes. "I know" he said but more for himself.
"And you understand that we have to kill Louis right?" She told him standing up and walking to the door. "Absolutely not" he shook his head sighing as she bolted out the door.
As soon as she made it into the crowded room she tackled Louis to the ground, shocking everyone out of their hugs.
"I got you now there's now where for you to hide!" She smirked as James made his way to join her.
"James Sirius potter if you lay a hand on your cousin it'll be 2 months without quidditch!" Older gonna threatened her son.
"Sofia come on, leave the poor lad alone" her mother told her and she groaned getting of him.
"Why do you hate me?" James dramatically whined as his mother cradled Albus. "I don't hate you, I just don't want Bill complaining about you hexing his son again" she replied.
"It's about time we go, we don't know how long this will let us stay here" hermione finally spoke up glancing at her husband who was hugging his deceased brother.
"Yeah we should" older Cassie smiled sadly, hugging Fred too as well as Tonks before she made her way to hermione.
"You've made yourself quite the man in the future eh? Just keep doing what you think is right. I'm proud of you Harry" Sirius told him giving him a final hug whispering something to Harry and handing him something, Cassie glanced at his hand curiously but Harry had tucked it away into his pocket before she got a chance to see.
Hermione glanced around the room, "it was great seeing you all again" she smiled lifting her wand "obliviate" as the smell made its way around the room, she flicked the time turner transporting everyone back to their own time.
They once again landed in a pile on the floor one on the other but this time Cassie wasn't lucky enough to land on the sofa. She laid on the floor groaning as she held her stomach, she felt a liquid trickle down her leg.
Her eyes widened at the sight, panic flooding her as a contraction instantly hit her, "I think my water just broke"
