"No I've just been lying to everyone for 8 months" Older Cassie joked.

Younger Cassie's was blushing and refused to look at Matteo who was looking down at her lovingly. Harry sneakily slid over 5 galleons to Fred I.

"My only grandchild is a riddle?" Sirius sighed when Cassie took off the charm
to keep him quiet.

"You have a problem with that?" Sofia glared at him, she didn't think this was how her first time meeting her grandfather would go.

"Of course not dear, you clearly are a black, the snark, the dashing good looks probably get it from your grandfather don't you?" He laughed standing up and hesitantly making his way over to her.

Cassie eyed him skeptically, there was a reason why she didn't tell him that she was his daughter because she was scared of how his reaction would affect Sofia.

He didn't say anything pulling Sofia into a hug, she didn't know what to do as she looked at James and Cassie for help.

A couple seconds later he let go, "you remind me a lot of your grandmother, she had hair like yours, and that smile" Older Cassie had a sad smile on her face glad he didn't mistreat her like she thought he would.

"She's amazing isn't she" James wrapped his arm around her, "a potter and a riddle together?" He gasped dramatically, everyone looked wary "oh the scandal!" He joked pretending to faint before a smirk sat on his lips.

"You know if you two were to ever have a child, it would be the descendant of a Riddle, Black, Weasley and a potter, Minnie I feel truly sorry for you" Now it was James and Sofias turn to blush.

The room burst into laughter at the two and poor Minerva who was planning her retirement before the chance of the devil pranksters to  even step foot into the school.

"I believe I can manage, if they're anything like Miss Black, they'll stay out of trouble" Minerva told them but mostly herself.

"You're joking? She comes up with most of our products, plans and aftermath" George pointed at younger Cassie who feigned innocence.

"Me? I would never" she gasped holding a hand to her chest, James beamed at his aunt, he never knew it was her ideas he'd been taking after.

"The only thing I truly credit is what I did to that frog face Umbridge" Older Cassie muttered as she unconsciously rubbed the scarred words on her arm, Matteo wanted to kill her when he found out.

"I personally wanted to kill her but I guess that worked too" Matteo shrugged as he rubbed younger Cassie's arm.

"If you killed her then it wouldn't have been as fun to leave her in the forest" older Cassie and Matteo shared a smirk.

"So tell me more about this life we have now, or how the hell he dies? Quick question am I the one who kills him and if not can I be the one who kills him?" The entire table was silent as they heard him, "wait you want to kill your father?" Remus asked unsure.

"If you don't know him by now I'm surprised, he's ruthless, cruel and curses people who go against him the only difference with being his son is that he has someone to aim them at" their eyes softened at his words, up until now they thought he was evil, trying to infiltrate them to steal information.

Sofia slowly made her way over to the younger version of her father and hugged him, "I'm sorry your dads a twat, if it makes you feel better you're not a twat in the future" she sent him an awkward smile.

"Yeah uncle Theo is the best" Hugo cheered. "How often do you see him?" Hermione asked. "We're all super close, practically related because well most of us are" Louis told them.

"We sleep over at uncle Theo's all the time" Rose said staring mischievously at James "except Jamie he's not allowed" she giggled as his face blanked remembering the last time.

"It was one kiss, he ran around the whole house trying to hex me if mum hadn't gotten to me I don't know what would've happened" he shivered hiding behind Sofia. "Poor baby" Sofia patted his cheek.

"I'm risking my life to be in a relationship with you" he rolled his eyes "so you admit it" Fred II teased. "Like you didn't already know" Albus nudged him, even he knew about it, James sometimes would talk in his sleep.

"You're surprisingly very protective of us in the future, you and uncle Ron beat up victoires ex boyfriend together"
The blondes head perked up, "wait what?" The younger two looked between themselves.

"It's the only thing you guys agree on" Albus grinned, he sat in the muggle car on lookout while they did it.

"What about the battle? Was he on our side?" Sirius spoke up, "well obviously he was, I wouldn't have a kid and I'm pretty sure, You guys wouldn't let your kids be so close to someone who was trying to kill us" Cassie rolled her eyes sarcastically.

"We actually got married just before the battle" older cassie told them, "really?" Sofia questioned her, "we both knew that this battle was going to end that day, we'd either win or we'd lose, we were being optimistic. He was going to go against his father, lose the only family he had, I married him so he had me to come back to, and as you can see we clearly won" they all cheered to know that all of it would finally come to an end.

"As for who does the winning kill it was a joint effort, Neville killed the last hocrux, so voldermort was weaker, we all took our shots, then our magic like intertwined and this big ball of power hit him, and he literally diffused into ashes" Matteo had a lingering smile on his face.

"He's dead, he's gonna die and he won't be able to get to you ever again" he whispered carefully brushing younger Cassie's cheek.

"Mum you didn't tell them the next bit" Sofia looked at her sadly and James squeezed her hand.

"I may have absorbed his dark magic" she said nonchalantly as gasps went around the room, wands raised at her as the children behind her did the same to anyone who threatened her.

"Relax it's dissipated now, after the battle a surge of voldermorts energy burst out, I pushed Harry away and took the shot, the effects were barely noticeable til I started losing control of myself, so I decided it was best to be put to sleep and let it diffuse out of me, 3 years it took" the ringing sound started again.

"You did that for me?" Harry asked her quietly, "just because we didn't get along didn't mean I didn't care for you, believe it or not Harry I consider you like a brother. I never blamed you"

She answered the mirror and Draco popped up "hi you're here too now?" She smiled at his frantic eyes "how's scorp?" He asked worried.

"Stuffing his face with cookies" she held the mirror to Scorpius, Albus and Hugo who were munching on cookies Molly had given them.

"We're going to use my time turner to bring you back, it shouldn't be long til we get to you so for now just sit tight, we'll be there by latest tomorrow" he spoke calmly ignoring the chaos in the background.

"Tell James to keep away from Sofia! Cassie he's not to be trusted! He's going to corrupt her" she could hear Matteo shout from behind the mirror, "calm down James is harmless" Ron waved at him.

"Are you aware your own daughter is there with a Malfoy?" He told Ron who instantly became just as enraged, he stepped into the screen pointing to the blonde, "if I catch you anywhere and I mean anywhere near her, I'll turn you into a ferret" he threatened the younger  malfoy heir.

"Y-yes sir" he nodded, not daring to even look at rose. "Same goes to you James, stay away that's 4 ft I said 5!" He yelled, "Daddy you can't do that! He's my boyfriend" James' eyes widened when Sofia told him, he was definitely going to get hexed.

"Why? Why on Merlin's beard would you tell him? Do you want me to die woman? Do you?" He wailed at Sofia, "he's not going to do anything, right dad?" She turned back to the hologram of her father.

"We'll see" he mumbled walking out of the frame, Harry deciding to step back in "don't worry about him, James some fatherly advice, don't anger your girlfriends father, I need to do some damage control I'll see you all later" the call ended once again.

One couple staying away from each other and the other hanging on to each other for dear life.

"What did I just say to you? 5ft apart move it!" Younger Matteo growled and Fred II pushed the two apart.

"Shut up they're cute" younger Cassie awed at them.
