Hey! So I just thought I would make a little note about something. Lots of the things I write about are serious issues, like the one I just posted on suicide.
I've never actually experienced anything that I've written about. I've written about dysfunctional families and darkness and things like that and, honestly, I've never had anything like that in my life. That's not to say that I don't understand it. I don't want you as my reader thinking my poems are less legit because I haven't experienced the problems for myself.
I want to make sure they are understood and that people know they're serious. I write about them because I enjoy it, but also because I want to make it known that these are real problems and struggles that people go through.
If you're someone going through something like this, feel free to dm me if you need a friend. We all have something we're struggling with.
So, just thought it was important to say this!
It's ok to not be ok.
Another thing: everything you say has some sort of effect on someone else. Think about what you say and how you act because you never know what someone else may be going through.
