Chapter 4 (Leo PoV)

*just going back to some of the things from last chapter*

Short dude walking through crowd. Jason getting déja vu. Dude is Hamilton. Cliffhanger.

(Author's Note: Sorry, I was feeling lazy.)

Leo suddenly got a lot of random flashbacks in his head. He didn't know why, but he knew what they were of.

Are you Aaron Burr, sir?

Wow, he sounds like a stalker.

True-

What time is it?!

Unexpected entrance-

My- shot!

Rise up! Rise up!

Imagine death-

Leo now remembered where he saw that guy before and where he heard that line. It was from a Broadway musical he had watched with the rest of the Seven and some friends. (read: Nico, Reyna and the ENTIRE Cabins 6 and 7) The line was from Hamilton: An American Musical and the short guy was none other than Alexander Hamilton himself. So the other guy (who was looking so scared at the moment, poor guy) was-

"Leo, are you okay?" Hazel asked him, concerned because Leo was quiet. Leo's never quiet. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's just that.."

"What?"

"The guy over there..."

"LEO JUST GODS DAM SPIT IT OUT ALREADY!" Piper screeched.

"Alright." Leo coughed and straightened his cravat, just for effects. "I think he's Alexander Hamilton."

Silence. Then Annabeth seemed to get it, and she gasped. "Alexander Hamilton?!" "Right?! Like how does he write so fast!" Percy said incredulously. "No, it's not that, Percy," Annabeth snapped. "He's that one son of Athena who was disowned after being a complete dumbass.""Ohhhh... Say No to This." Percy scowled. "Yeah, that was pretty dumb of him." Leo said. He said that calmly, but in his head he was screaming at Hamilton for being so stupid and making Eliza sad and Angelica angry and getting Phillip shot and... yeah. basically, he was really mad at Hamilton. But he still liked the songs. They were just so catchy. Directing his focus back to the Founding Father, he could hear their conversation.

"I have been looking for you!"

"Still creepy, Alex. Tone it down a bit," Annabeth muttered. Leo had to agree.

"I'm getting nervous-" And who wouldn't be, Leo thought.

"Sir, I heard your name at Princeton..." Man, the guy is non-stop. Like, how many words does he say per minute?

(Author's Note: I'm sorry, I just had to. :D)

"How in Hades is he talking that fast?!" Hazel speculated. "Literally. It's crazy.""He's Hamilton! Of course he can talk fast." Frank said. "Pshht, you haven't seen Lafayette in Guns and Ships," Piper scoffed. "Now THAT's fast." They were about to get into a gigantic argument but Annabeth shushed them and they heard what Hamilton had just told Burr. "...sort of out of sorts with a buddy of yours. I may have punched him, it's a blur, sir. He handles the financials?"

"Dear gods, don't let him have punched the bursar." Annabeth muttered. Leo and Percy grinned at what Burr was going to say.

"You punched the bursar."

"Yes!" Annabeth facepalmed. Hazel groaned and wondered what kind of trouble Alexander would get himself into next.

(Author's Note: Hazel doesn't know about the affair because everyone shoved her outside the theater to protect her status as pure cinnamon roll.)

"What is Alex going to do next? Tick off Angelica?" Hazel said under her breath. Leo smiled darkly. "Oh, Hazel. Poor Hazel cinnamon roll," Leo said sadly. "You have no idea.""Hey look, they're going into the building. So it's a bar." Jason observed. "Nice observation, Jason. So- oh NO." Frank paled. "Frank? What's wrong?" Hazel asked.

"This is part of the song Aaron Burr, Sir, right?"

"Yes."

"Well, that means the rest of the squad is coming any time now."

"That's imposs- oh no, here they come."

(Author's Note:Here comes the general- okay, I should stop myself from interrupting too often.)

A bunch of guys came through the crowd towards the bar. Most definitely the rest of the Hamilsquad. One of them kicked the door down and screamed, "What TIME IS IT!?" That has got to be Laurens.

(Author's Note: Yes, I know IRL Hamilton and Laurens only met during the war. I'm sticking to the musical for this because I'm lazy and also why not. History buffs may attack me now, just don't kill me or you'll never get to hear the end of my story.)

"Showtime!" they all joined in for that one. "We should leave before they all get drunk. Who knows what will happen then," Piper suggested. "Well, Piper, no one knows because no one else was in the room where it happened," Percy said. "Anywaaays, let's go! Leo, can you get us out of here?" Piper said. "Sure thing, Beauty Queen," Leo joked as he adjusted the many levers and dials on his time machine. He pressed the button and once again, they disappeared in a flash of light.

So we've just seen the demigods' first time travel adventure, but do you want to see how everyone is back at CHB?

"Where could they be," Chiron fretted over dinner back in the present day at Camp Half-Blood. He had been looking for the Seven since sunset and still no sign. It was like they had just vanished into thin air. Calypso was stressing out over Leo's disappearance in Cabin 9. As everyone tried to have anything resembling an appetite, they all wondered where their demigods could have possibly gone.

To Readers,

Wow, you've read my story this far! Thanks for that!

As of 5:2something A.M., exactly 70 people have read this story. I know it's not a big thing like 1k reads or anything, but I'll celebrate all the same because an actual, living, breathing human being somewhere thought my story might be nice* and clicked it. Thanks.

Aaand I also got a new follower! Ali-corn47!

Now that their first time travel adventure is over, I need some ideas on where to send these demigods next! Please comment your suggestions and I'll pick one for the next part of this story. See you!
