The first thing I do after I wake up is check my phone to see if mom has replied or not. There's a message from mom,
"Awww I'm glad you and Jonah are safe. We are in Alaska, take care of yourself and Jonah. I love you."

I replied back,
"I love you too,mom. Call us when free."

After 2 minutes, a text message again,
"Sure,honey . Tonight. "

I keep my phone aside and go into the bathroom to wash my face and do my hair. The rest of the day goes by normally. I spend some time with Michael, telling him about my school and friends. While Jonah spends the entire day hanging out with Stephen.
At 8 pm, Stephen calls Michael and tell him that him and Jonah are planning dinner outside.

Oh wow.

Me and Michael eat dinner and watch famous Vampire Diaries show. At last, I feel like I'm tired and plan to sleep. I get up from my chair and turn to Michael.
"Hey, if you don't mind, can I go upstairs and sleep ?"

"Yes, yes. Why not my dear. Have a good night."

"Goodnight Michael." I say and begin to go upstairs when Michael calls me back.

"Alice?"

"Yeah?" I turn again and ask.

" I'm sorry about Stephen's behavior. He's a little suffer-in-silence type boy, you know what I mean." He apologize to me.

"It's okay Michael. I don't mind." I lie.

"You are amazing." He tells me.

"Thanks." I say and walk upstairs.

I step inside my room and I hear my cell ringing. I run towards the table to pick it up. It's mom.

"Hey, mom?" I ask

"Hello? Alice? Can you hear me?" Her voice is probably more loud than usual.

"Yes mom I can hear you. How are you? Are you okay? " I ask. There's a lot of noise coming from her side.

"Hello? Alice? Dear I can't hear you. Signal problem. I'll call you tomorrow okay. Love you. " and she hang up.

I stare at the phone then keep it on the table again. I get up from the bed and begin to walk towards the bookshelf and pick up "Perfect" by "Judith Mc naught" . I lay on the bed again and begin to read it, and soon, I'm sleeping again.
