The VR game, YuGiOh Knights, won't be like the usual card game that it was before.

The cards you get are converted to "skills" that your character can use in the game. You can get skills in different ways.

1. You get skills from "hunting" the monsters outside of towns. The monsters come out of their cards and can attack you. You fight back with skills and weapons and wear armor too. Defeating monsters will give you a chance of learning their skill along with loot.

2. You can use gold to spend it on a master so they can teach you one of their skills. The more powerful the skill, the more gold it costs.

3. Originally, the game would have you put your cards into the slot so they can be transferred into the game. However, because of the glitch, the players could only transfer the card they brought with them.

Each skill is unique prior to the card which it comes from. There are a few kinds of skills that can be used.

Physical: The skill deals physical damage

Magic (Assault): The skill uses magic to attack the enemy

Magic (Fortify): The skill uses magic to buff the user's stats

Magic (Weaken): The skill uses magic to lower the enemy's stats

Magic (Support): The skill supports the user and/or their party (if they're in one)

Magic (Summon): The skill summons a monster that will fight for the user

Special: The skill has a special effect that separates it from the others

There are also three classes that the players choose for their character. There were supposed to be more in future updates, but the characters can switch classes in towns.

Knight: A class that usually wears metal armor for their health and defenses. They can wield a sword, shield, lance, axe, or any kind of physical melee weapon.

Ranger: A class that prefers to attack from afar with their speed and accuracy. They can wield any kind of ranged weapon.

Mage: A popular class that was voted by the fans, mages use their attack and magic to their advantage. They can use any magic-related weapon.
