Third Person POV

A blinding light split through the air making it look as if it just tore in two. Out of that light a figure with horns and wings walked out wearing a strange pair of "glasses". As soon as they fully stepped out all of a sudden they appeared human and the rift sealed itself back up. The person looked around their surroundings and-

Immediately fell to the floor...

"I h-hate time warping! I feel lime imma throw up, burheep!" They let out a screech then paused. "Well was a weird hiccup..."

They stood up and looked around once more but this time took the rainbow glassed pair of goggles off so they could see properly.

"Oh. So this must be an AU....interesting. Might aswell take a looksie of my surroundings. WAIT- READERS...um...HI" She awkwardly shifted and kicked a rock. "Oh by the way my name is Uriel but most just call me Emu. Don't ask how I got from Uriel to Emu....It is a long story" She said camly while breaking the fourth wall and talking to the audience with a smile on her face.

"Yeah yeah whatever narrator. Perk of time travel, dimension stuff, and my character. ANYWHO- this seems to be the dimension with the virus...oh and not Covid-19 virus that is your guys' dimension strictly, that sucks by the way." Emu let out a small awkward chuckle and then shivered. She walked around her surroundings, mountains all around but distant, forests behind her, and she was in a grass land with a few trees. Everything was bright and vibrant with some weird flowers which looked supernatural but she just walked on. There was a clearing with rocks and a river leading down to an open cenote. The dark haired girl sat down on a rock by the water and opened a small violet bag attacked to the side of her belt. The bag was filled with gold coins momentarily then shifting to a light green hue with the shape turning into a cut gemstone form.

"Looks like this place uses jade as currency. Nice." She tied closed the bag close again. There was a static noise in the distance and she flinched and shot up. Glancing around Emu noticed a tree with weeping vines glitching violently switching from various species of trees.

"Hm....I dont know why, but I have a feeling trees aren't suposed to do that." She strieded over to the tree cautiously and made sure not to get to close. Her hand was stretched out and she could feel it almost pulling her in.

"Yep. Not normal tree behavior" She opened her watch locket which hung around her neck and a small orb glowed from the necklace. It pointed towards the mountains and she closed it.

"And bingo" She put the goggles back on and her eyes glowed a vivid firey orange. The light was refracted through the lense and the tree returned to its normal state.

"AHHHHH!" A scream was heard to her right and she reached for the sai which was in her coat pocket.

"HEY YOU! STOP THERE!" I saw a....Cat? Human? Thing covered in dirt on the ground. The traveler didn't think too much of her but still tried to get a firm grip on the weapon which seemed to be made of light. As soon as she had a hold of the weapon however it was knocked out of her hands by some smoke and the next thing she knew a dagger was being pressed to her side.
"Well this is just great"

Kitten's pov

I ran through the busy streets of the Obsidian Kingdom. I loved my kingdom but I never could get out at all and I hate it. My mom kept me all cooped up in the castle. Thankfully I found a work around and got myself a body guard! Honestly he is just my best friend at this point who helps me get into shenanigans. I ran around the open area shops and then spotted two black bunny ears poking up out of the crowd by the blacksmith.

"SHADE! OVER HEREEEEEE!!!" I jumped up and down with my arms flailing in the air. "SHADEEEEEE!" I screamed out even louder. He seemed to notice me and sighed.

"What is it?" He asked me seeming mildly irritated, I wonder why. My eyes sparkled as I squealed this seemed to jog his memory and he sighed again.

"...Outer kingdom recon?"

"OUTER KINGDOM RECON!!!" I began to shake him back and forth with my tail wagging and began to drag him to the outer area of the city. Shade and I are both animal hybrids while most others in the kingdom are elves, mages, or gembloods which look beautiful! They have minerals or gems engraved in their skin and their eyes are so colorful.

A cool thing about Shade is that he is a shadow demon which everyone in this kingdom see as a threat. I, the princess, wanted to try to befriend the demons. So I went into the silver mist woods and tried to find a demon. Immediately being attacked by wolves i got lost and met shade. He was different from the other demons i could tell right away, a good different! He helped me get back home and I let him stay in Blackstone. Now we hang out whenever I get the chance to sneak out of my castle prison.

I snapped out of my transe once I heard this,

"KITTEN SLOW DOWN WE ARE IN THE FOREST ALREAD!" He screamed out to get my attention which worked and I looked over to him. The only problem was I tripped and began to tumble down a path into a small clearing of grass

"AHHHHH!" I saw him run down the path after me trying to catch up. I looked around and saw.... a gliching tree?
' Wait it is normal now!? ' rubbing my eyes with my hands I looked again but I just saw a girl standing there with a weird outfit and goggles. WEAPON! SHE HAS A WEAPON!

"HEY YOU! STOP THERE!" I yelled without thinking and she looked as she was going to attack but smoke a cloud of smoke surrounded the threat and I felt relived. Shade materialized out of the smoke and swiftly knocked the weapon away but it seemed to burn his hand. The stanger froze up with him holding a dagger to her side.

"Well this is just great..." she hissed with teeth clenched and lunged at me. I flinched but Shade had an arm wrapped around her and I nodded my head as a thanks. Now I was able to get a good looked of the person. Seemed an average hight but was short compared to Shade and me. Long dark raven hair with red highlights tied in a messy ponytail. In her hair a golden hair piece with two feathers, one black one white. Her outfit was much different than anyone from our kingdom and she didn't look demon like.

"Unhand me!" She shrieked kicking and struggling againt his grasp.

"You are making this WAY more difficult than it should be!" Shade yelled while just picking her off the ground.

'Wait....i-is she?' I got closer and sniffed her.

"HUMAN!?"
