Shade's POV

"HUMAN?!" I heard Kitten yell at the top of her lungs. Her screech made a ringing in my ears and I did a rookie mistake and let go of the prisoner. I collapsed down trying to make the pain stop and i looked up to see Kitten friken charge tackle the mysterious person. Then i heard the shattering crack of glass and imediadly shot up. 

"HA! GOT YOU" Kitten yelled with pride. I got closer and leaned down so i could actually get a good look of this person They were small and thin like with tan skin. Surprisingly long hair that was dark with a bloody red at the tips. It seemd to be held up with a golden clamp that had two feathers, one black and the other white. Her outfit was strange compared to most, a flowing dark navy coat and a white shirt with some lavander shorts. She had a drawstring pouch and glass bottled containing some glowing liquids attached to her belt. I saw weapons so i took them from her and Kitten kept her down.

"GIVE THOSE BACK OR I WILL BITE YOUR HEAD OFF" Venom laced her voice and she acted very hostile. I could tell Kitten was panicking and not sure what to do so i used a spell to make snakes wrap around her. The snakes were red and black and were just made of shadows. They gripped around her and kept her in place. Kitten got off her and sighed. 

"She scratched me! Shade!" Kitten whined with a pouty face and i just rolled my eyes.

"Arn't you a cat? Isn't that your thing? You have scratched me more times than I can count." I said snarkily and she huffed. We looked back down at the person. She wasnt any mystical being we have ever seen and she looks like the past humans that used to roam our land. Her eyes were wild and multicolored which i knew wasnt normal for humans. She was different....

"So now what? Did you see that weird thing she did to the tree?!" Kitten screeched again and I thought for a few more seconds.

Emu's Pov

Great i got captured... As soon as i get to a new world and get these prism goggles everything just immediatly breaks. Wonderful start to my day but oh well. Still have to do my job and these mortals are gonna make it way more difficult then it needs to be. I would fight but they think im human so i cant use magic. The one with bunny ears is a demon, he would be able to tell my magic from normal. 

"What is your name?" The rabbit boy asked me and i glare at him for a second then position myself upwards. I looked at both of them intently. The girl who im guessing is Kitten since the boy, who i believe is Shade, kept calling her that looked at me with confusion. She has white fluffy cat ears that twitched to every little sound and hair which has some small hints of a light sky blue and pastel pink streaks which was tied up messily. Her outfit seemed to have a mystical medieval feeling but was cleanly kept unlike most. It had gems and gold embeded into the cloth, must be a richer family. She also had a dark hooded cloak that fell down to her shoulders. The thing about her that caught my eye the most is the tiara on place on her head.

Shade on the other hand looked very formal also. He had a shoulder cap that hung down to his side. Hair was a raven black at a medium length giving him a sort of mullet. His eyes being a blood red and pale skin indicated he was a demon blood. Im guessing he had a tail but i had no way of knowing honestly. 

Im guessing my best bet to get out of this situation is try to act friendly and maybe they can point me in the direction of a magic source to repair my goggles. Once I do that maybe i can figure out a certain rune spell to apmlify its power to stop this virus.

"Uriel Morningstar if we are being formal. However, i prefer Emu." I smiled but they were still very suspicious. 

(Author note. I honestly dont know how i gave her that name. so um....yeah)

"What did you do to that tree?" Kitten asked with a more curious toan unlike the bunny who was more interrogative. Maybe i can befriend her.

"I simply fixed it" I camly said knowing there would be many question i cant answer truthfully now.

Shade's eyes glowed red for a moment then whispered something to Kitten. Im guessing he read my magic balance judging by the girl's shock. This got me worried. I know my level of power was extreamly high and unstable. Most beings here have either light magic or dark magic and only thoses. Me being a fallen angel probably changes that meaning more trouble for me.

"Alright Emu....We are taking you to the Queen of The Blackstone Empire to be judged." He waved his hand and the shadows lifted me up about two feet in the air. They began walking out of the forest until there were some dirt paths. Shade was striding ahead and Kitten, who was keeping an eye on me, was at my side. I decided to talk with her.

"So cat. Is it alright if I call you that? I feel strange saying Kitten." I said trying to butter her up a little. She reminds me of that one girl I that got lost in hell. Had the same cat ears also. I guess this is her in this dimension though i never remember meeting Shade in my dimension however.

"I guess." i could sense the nervousness in her voice but she still seemed collected. I looked at her once again then it clicked. The outfit, crown, and collectiveness. I have seen all these traits in Spade. (if you dont know who Spade is lemme explain. Queen of Hell and basically raised Emu)

" NO WAY- YOU'RE A PRINCESS!" The shock on her face was like she just saw a headless chicken flying. I am guessing she was surprised i put two and two together so quickly. I was beaming happily with myself.

"H-how?" 

"Experience with royalty."

"Im guessing you are from a neighboring kingdom then," looking out she smiled. "Welcome to Blackstone." She said as we got out of the woods and into a clearing where i could see very large stone walls. I see how it got it's name. There was an enormous line of people going into the city and out. We skipped the line and no one seemed to mind but i saw some glare at Shade since he was ahead of us. I got a little nervous as we approached the gate seeing some gaurds with weapons. They had gems and crystals embeded in their skin. They stopped Shade and i heard Cat mutter something around the lines of 'ugh. new gaurds'

"Demons are not allowed inside the walls of the kingdom. We ask for you to leave or we will be entitled to use force" One of them spoke while holding a glave to Shade who seemed very unbothered.

"Are you new here? Since you suck at your job. It's me dumbass-" Shade growled while lowering the weapon with his hand with an annoyed expression. The gaurd didnt move however until Kitten walked up with me. This made them start to shake.

"We are taking a prisoner to my mother. As said before by the Queen herself. Shade Blare is allowed inside the walls of Blackstone." Kitten's voice signaled to me that this had happened many times before. I even saw Shade's ears droop down a bit. The guard appologised and bowed. They opened the door for us and i saw a huge marketplace. There was houses on top of hills and in the cliffs. The streets were swarmed with so many different people I couldnt see a thing. Thank goodness I didnt have any control of where I was going or else I surely would've been taken by the flowing crowd. In the middle of it all on a cliffsided waterfall was a breath taking castle.

I was in awe but sadly it didnt last long when suddenly I heard a blood curdling scream fill the atmosphere. The crowd cleared away and i found myself in the open. The shadow bindings were off which led me to believe something bad happened to Shade. I turn towards the gate behind me and I see a horrible.

A huge cloud of glitching static.

The virus 

Infecting everyone in its path

It left some in pain, those were the lucky ones. The unlucky's minds get scrambled and they will either begin to attack others or rip out their own hearts and snap their necks. 

In my past life I would enjoy this sight but now i see how terrible it is. 

I searched for Kitten and Shade in a hurry. When i found them I wasnt washed over in relief but fear. 

Shade was unconcious behind Kitten who was backed up against the wall surounded by infected citizens.

"well darn....I gotta save everyone..."
