Emu's POV

 Kitten was viciously growling at the infected citizens and they drew closer to her. I took a quick look around once more. The gaurds who were left hurried towards the gated and tried to push the infected ones out. Many of the citizens knew to get inside which was good. Suddenly I hear a loud roar that shook the ground beneath me. Many infected got thrown back and I stumbled as well. Soon able to see through the chaos what it was.

 A frigging dragon- 

There was a flipping dragon the hight of a four story building in the middle of the town. I gawked at the sight for a few more seconds and saw Shade awake again behind the dragon. I rushed over, scooped him up over my shoulder and ran behind a small vendor.

 "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?!" He yelped in my ear as I set him down. "Saving your tail bunny boy. Now where is princess fluffy?" He huffed at nickname which I returned with a smirk. You all know imma use that name much more now.

"Well first look up and to the right. You should see some screaming people getting hurt and then there should be a giant dragon. Almost impossible to miss and that would be her" the bunny said annoyed. He must have visibly seen the shock in my face and added, "She is a shape-shifter like most all hybrids."

"Well then that sure is something..." I peaked around the corner and saw the gaurds were all hurt or infected and were pouring back into the city. I reached into my satchel and pulled out a metallic crystal with which I drew a wide circle on the floor. I then began to draw star in the center. Yes like demonic- shush I do dark magic.

 "WHAT THE FUCK are you doing?!" He yelled out and i could tell he was horrified. He must of thought I was gonna open a portal to hell or something like that.

 "I am going to make a protective dome over the city which should heal any infected inside of the dome also." Shade looked at me if I was crazy. I told him to trust me. "The plan is that it will work and not turn everyone into small worms like last time..." I sighed and put my goggles on 

"THE FUCK YOU MEAN LAST TIME!?" Beams of light rose out of the circle with my eyes glowing a eerie yellow and blue. The beam went up and wrapped around the city like a blanket of rain.

Shade's POV

WHO THE HELL IS THIS GIRL AND WHAT THE FUCK IS SHE THINKING PERFORMING A DEMONIC SPELL-

oh look it is working.

... Well then...

I saw people were returning to a solid form and there was indeed a dome of light over all of the city. It didn't stretch over the entire kingdom probably but at least we are all safe here. Looking towards Kitten I see she is back to herself. She runs over to us and I notice that 'Emu' passed out from performing the ritual.

"Did she do this?" Kitten asked while kneeling next to the human. "Hm? This nice flower arrangement or the giant glowing bubble?" I pointed to the flowers on my left by a house. "What are these? Daffodils? with some daisys mhm yes very nice" The princess gave me a stern look and I just nodded.

"Well... this girl just saved our entire city and maybe can save our kingdom."

"She is demonic. I saw her perform dark magic the kind only demons can do." I used my magic on her again but it still showed an even amount of light and dark magic which confused me more. This person was not human.

"You are a demon too Shade and are good. Maybe she is too.. Let's take her back to the castle, wait till they wake up and then ask her some questions. Ok?" She smiled and then picked up the girl.

"Alright... I'm taking her weapons though." I said as a took her bag, these weird glowing sai and the many blades from her coat. I left the potions on her belt since I didn't want to touch them.

Off to the palace.
