Stein's POV 

I looked at her as the light from my house flooded over her and into the yard. She was soaked, shaking, and looked like she could cry. She looked at me for a second before she began to fall. I grabbed her quickly and knelt as I looked at her. I picked her up gently and carried her to my room. I took off her clothes carefully as I tried not to wake her up. I put her on my bed and walked out of my room and grabbed my keys and my lab coat before going out into the rain back to Anne's apartment. 

I got there to find it trashed. I closed the door and walked to her room to get her more clothes and what she needed. I turned around to find Hisoka. 

"Where is she?" 

I smirked. 

"That is none of your concern." 

He growled. 

"I'll only ask again. Where is she?" 

"..." 

"Answer me!" 

"Considering the current state of the living room at the moment, I'd say you did something to her, which means that you better be long gone by the time I find out what you did or I promise you I will kill you." 

His eyes went wide for a moment. I brushed my way past him and back out to the living room before going back to my lab to check on (y/n). 

Hisoka's POV 

I fell to my knees. I was going to be murdered by the best Meister to graduate the DWMA. Medusa's lover. (Ew *^*) I began to cry. I was stuck in this position ever since Medusa found out about me going to the DWMA. 

I pushed the button on my watch. 

"Lady Medusa, I have bad news." 

She came on. 

"What is it Hisoka?" 

"(y/n) didn't take my breaking her well, she left and went to Stein, now I think Stein is going to kill me." 

"Damn, He wasn't as broken as I had thought." 

"What do you want me to do?" 

"I'll send Eruka frog to get you. Follow her to my lair and we'll await Stein and (y/n) there." 

I nodded and she left the watch. I laid on the floor and stared at the ceiling. I didn't know what to do. 

Your POV 

I woke up to be in Stein's shirt and bed. I sat up and sniffed remembering why I was here. 

How could he do that to me? I thought he was better than that. I trusted him. 

I stood slowly and decided to go find Stein. I walked around his lab for about ten minutes before I found him in his living room on the couch asleep with a book on him. I shook him a little and he began to move. His green eyes opened and fixed themselves on me. 

He sat up quickly and crawled over the side of the couch before falling. He stood up quickly causing me to giggle. He looked at me before hugging me gently. 

"Tell me what happened between you and Hisoka." 

I sighed. 

"He decided to have his mind set on me cheating on him because Death Market was busy. I told him I didn't several times but he still didn't buy it. After that, he hit me and I told him that he had to be gone before I came back otherwise I was going to tell Lord Death everything and make him be sent back where he came from." 

He tightened my arms around me a little. 

"I went over to your apartment to get your clothes. He was still there and was looking for you." 

I nodded and sighed. 

"He probably wants to break me more. Something is up with him after he said that. I don't know why I didn't see it before." 

He picked me up and sat me on the couch next to him. 

"He's been giving me a weird feeling since he got here. It wasn't like that when he was younger. I don't know what changed." 

"What kind of feeling was it?" 

"Similar to the one I had with Medusa." 

I stood. "What if Medusa is still alive? What if he's working for her?" 

He looked at me for a moment before getting up and going to the bathroom. I followed and he called Lord Death. 

"Lord Death this is an emergency." 

"Yes, Stein what is it?" 

"(y/n) believes that Hisoka is working with Medusa." 

"For that to work then Medusa would have to be alive." 

"I know it sounds far-fetched. I didn't see it earlier because I was blinded by a new partner. After what Stein had told me, I believe that he is working for someone even if it isn't Medusa." 

"Do you know where Hisoka is?" 

"He still might be at my apartment." 

"What is the address." 

"0666 Death Avenue." 

"I will send troops out and see what happens. He will be brought right to me and not the dungeon. If he will not talk then I'll have you come in if that is alright with you." 

I nodded. 

Spirit walked into the mirror shot. 

"Spirit, go to (y/n)'s apartment and get Hisoka and bring him to me." 

"Why?" 

"I'll explain later. Just go." 

He nodded and ran off to get Sid. 

Lord Death turned back to me. 

"Rest easy you two, this will be taken care of." 

I nodded and he signed off. Stein looked at me for a moment. 

"Hungry?" 

"Yeah a little." 

We went to the kitchen and he walked over to the fridge. I stopped him for a moment and he turned to me. He knelt down to look at me as I was looking down. 

"I don't know what made me not see it before, Stein." 

"It's alright you didn't know." 

I shook my head.

"That wasn't what I was talking about." 

"Then what is it?" 

"I love you."
