These are how the four Nordics look like in the story with their weird masks on. You must be thinking "Why do Finland's and Sweden's masks cover their whole faces but Denmark's and Norway's don't?" The reason why? Emil/The older Iceland remembers Denmark's and Norway's faces more because he spent more time with them. The masks cover less of their faces because of that.

The reason why Denmark's mask is the only one that shows a mixed emotion? Well, I can't tell you that! That will be answered in the sequel!
