❝ ɢᴀᴍᴇ ❞

The mighty sun was shining brightly in the faint blue sky that screams life, holding the puffy white and cotton-like clouds. Trees high up and pink petals floating down from it touched the pavement she was standing on. It was spring. A wonderful season where cherry blossoms bloomed. She smiled and held out her hand. Her lips curved upward, even more, when a beautiful pink petal landed on her pale hand. The wind blew on it and the petal flew farther away from her hand.

Y/N watched it fly and landed on the bushes that were covered in more pink petals. She sighed and took out her phone to check the time. Her eyebrows furrowed as she realised that he was late. "Where is he?" She questioned herself as she looked around. People were passing by and most of them were couples. They were giggling happily and Y/N felt a slight jealousy stir in her. She wished she could have that kind of a relationship with a particular person.

While she was deep in her train of thoughts, someone sneaked up beside her and covered her eyes. She flinched at the touch. "OH--"

"Guess who it is!" He said and giggled. His plump lips curved into a smile and his eyes shaped into a crescent.

Y/N giggled knowing who he was. However, she intentionally didn't guess the answer immediately. She decided to play around. "Hmmm...I wonder who it is. A random stranger?"

"Uh...no. Wait, what--"

"Lachibolala?"

"Come on! It's just that one time in class--"

"Jiminie pabo?"

"HEY!!"

She laughed out loud, holding her stomach. Jimin pouted, letting her go and slipped his hands back into his pockets. She turned around, showing her teary eyes which were caused by her excessive laughter. Later, she grinned and it infected Jimin as well. His pout vanished and a grin took its place. He laughed along as well. It was a happy minute until they decided to start their planned day.

They walked together on the pavement passing by a few beautiful cherry blossom trees. A smile was still spread on her face and Jimin noticed it. He smiled. "You look happy," Jimin said, gaining her attention.

She chuckled. "Why shouldn't I? It's my first time going to the amusement park." She said without an ounce of sadness present. She never really thought about it. Yes, an amusement park was an ideal place for kids but, ever since she was young, she knew that she is not like other kids. She prevented herself from wishing for something that will never be fulfilled and she did it well. She became a kid that just lived. No goals, no wishes, nothing; like a broken glass that serves no purpose.

Yoongi. He came in like a shard of glass and was connected to her broken parts. He was a part of her. As for Jimin, he was the one that showed her that broken glass could serve a purpose, have wishes and have its right to ask for happiness. In conclusion, they both meant a lot to her and she cherished them with all her heart.

Jimin's eyes widened as he looked at her with pure shock. She arched a brow at him, wondering what's wrong. "You never went to an amusement park before? Even when you were young?" Jimin asked, tilting his head. Y/N shook her head and looked at him innocently. Jimin gasped. "Your childhood must have been lame." he joked and giggled, not knowing that he actually said something wrong.

Y/N's gaze fell and she chuckled weakly. "Yeah....it was...really lame." She sighed, remembering her past. It was endless torture. She shook her head, getting off the memory lane. Jimin who realised the change in her expression knew he said something wrong and he felt guilty about it. He suddenly pulled her and hugged her. Her eyes widened in surprise. "Jimin? What are you doing? People might see us!" She tried to free herself but Jimin tightened the hug and finally let her go after a few seconds passed.

"I am sorry...." He apologised and pouted. He looked down at the ground, unable to look up unless Y/N forgave him.

Y/N giggled, finding his cute pout very amusing. "It's fine. You don't have to apologise." She gave him a warm smile and patted his shoulder. "Let the past remain the past. Let's go! I am excited to ride the roller coaster!" She cheered and skipped off happily.

Jimin was glad that she wasn't mad. However, his heartbeat rapidly when he processed what Y/N said. "Hang on.....We are riding the roller coaster?!" The girl turned around and gave him a smirk as his face immediately turned pale. He planned to have cotton candy with her and ride the Ferris wheel. Riding a roller coaster was never part of the plan.

"Oh! Should we go to the haunted house too?"

"NO!!"

Jimin gripped tightly on the railing to prevent his butt from landing on the ground which further embarrassed himself. It was a hot 30 minutes of screaming on the ride like a girl. Y/N beside him who is the real girl cheered instead, totally opposite from Jimin. After getting off the ride, he finally can feel the dryness in his throat and the wave of dizziness shot right through his head. He felt like he was going to puke any time now. Y/N who felt a little sorry for him continued to pat his back with an awkward smile on her face. "Uh.....the whole world is spinning." He tried to speak, but it came out like a whisper.

Y/N chuckled awkwardly and handed him a bottle of water. "Sorry..." She smiled cheekily, hoping he won't stay mad for long. Jimin rolled his eyes at her and scoffed as he shook his head in disbelief. He opened the bottle cap and gulped down the cool water until it was half empty. "Better?" She asked as she tilted her head to get a clear view of his face.

Jimin glared at her and she pursed her lips. "I am fine. Let's go play other games." He let out a sigh of relief when the dizziness started to wear off.

"Oh! So can we go the haunted--"

"No!" Jimin rejected immediately and scrunched his face at Y/N. "Seriously, you're different from other girls and it scares me."

"Well, you're lucky to get a special one." Y/N flipped her glossy black hair, feeling proud of herself and arched a brow at Jimin, waiting for his reaction. Jimin simply gave her an unbothered expression and it hurt her pride a little.

"Let's go play that gun game. Whoever wins can be the special one." Jimin smirked as he pointed at the game stall with his thumb.

Y/N frowned and cocked her head to the side. The game stall caught her attention. Sad and angry customers left it without anything in their hands. The owner of the stall wore a smirk on his face and she could easily tell that he was scamming his customers. "He is scamming his customers. We will just waste our money playing it." She turned her attention back to Jimin and he was smiling ever so proudly.

"Not, if it was me." Jimin put up his index finger in front of her and moved it side to side, not agreeing with what Y/N said. She frowned at his words. "Trust me, okay?" His innocent orbs gleamed, asking for her trust.

She sighed, giving up on advising him because it never worked anyway. "Do whatever you want. It's not my money anyway." Y/N shrugged and he glared at her, pouting later. She chuckled. "Let's go." She grabbed his arm and pulled him to the stall.

Once they reached the store, the owner immediately beamed at them with a bright smile like he just caught another big fish in the sea. "Welcome to Zombie shooting corner! This game is simple! Just grab the gun and shoot the moving zombie picture! As long as the rubber bullet hits it, you win!" He speaks with a large amount of enthusiasm in his gruff voice.

"I would like to play one game," Jimin said and paid him the money. The owner gladly took it in his hand and a big smile spread on his face. Jimin cracked his neck, preparing himself for the game while Y/N had her eyes on the owner, wondering how he managed to scam all his customers. "All right, let's get it!" Jimin boosted his own confidence and picked up the toy gun.

Y/N watched him play and at the same time watched the owner's movement at the corner of her eye. She watched the movement of the zombie picture. It moved slowly to the side and back. Jimin aimed at the one that caught his eye and a smirk made its appearance. He fired his first shot and he was sure that he would hit the target, but it didn't. He frowned, feeling disappointed.

Y/N noticed it. The zombie picture moved at the last second. It was slight but enough to avoid the shot. She looked over at the smirking owner and she looked down at his arm under the countertop. She scoffed, knowing what he was doing down there.

"Oh no! You missed it. It's okay young man. You still have two more chances." The owner encouraged Jimin. "Or maybe you want to pay for another game just in case?" He gave a fake smile to hide his thirst for money but Y/N could see right through him. Only a stupid person wouldn't notice it and she looked at Jimin.

"No, it's fine. I am sure I will get it on the next one. Two correct shots get the white teddy bear right?" Jimin asked as he pointed at the cute teddy bear, sitting on the countertop. The owner nodded his head, giving a smile.

Y/N frowned, wondering why Jimin wanted that white teddy bear so badly. At least from what she knew, he was not much of a kid. "Why do you want the white teddy bear? I never knew you were interested in toys." She asked, tilting her head curiously.

"It's for you." He said and her eyes widened. A light shade of pink appeared on her cheeks and her heartbeat quickened. Feelings bloomed again but Jimin fired his second shot which caught her attention. Again, he was confident. However, his confidence crumbled once again when the shot he put his faith in, failed to hit the ugly zombie picture. Jimin was starting to get frustrated and Y/N noticed that.

"Oh no! You missed it again. But it's okay. One-shot can get a small notebook. Unless you insist on getting the teddy bear." The owner tried to tempt Jimin into paying for another game. He sure was a professional in this because Jimin was already thinking about it. Y/N glared at the owner, having enough of his behaviour. She was about to speak up but someone stepped in, cutting her off.

"May I?" Someone asked from behind. Jimin and Y/N, both turned around at the same time and their eyes widened in shock, seeing the person in front of them.

Y/N gasped. "Jihan? What are you doing here?" She asked in pure curiosity. She was shocked that he suddenly appeared out of nowhere, but most importantly, worried about Jimin.

"Just came here to have fun." He replied, giving Y/N his brightest smile. She laughed along, awkwardly. She took a small glance at Jimin and it was obvious that he was not having any of it.

"Funny that the son of Hyuk enterprise's CEO would come to this place. I thought maybe he would go to a place where only rich people go. Take a casino for example." Jimin threw out his mild harsh words and walked over to them. He grabbed Y/N's arm, pulling her back to hide her behind him.

Jihan chuckled, emitting a bad and threatening aura. "It's funny to see you here as well, Park Jimin, son of Moonji enterprise's CEO. Since you mentioned it, should we go to the casino together next time?" Jihan retaliated. He cocked his head, wearing a smug look.

Jimin's lips twitched, feeling irritated by his words. An annoyed laugh left his lips and his brown orbs glared up at Jihan making him glare back, unfazed by Jimin's death glare. To him, Jimin was just a rat trying to fight when he was weak.

"Now, step aside. I want to win a game." He said and shoved Jimin, enough for him to make a straight way to the game stall.

Jimin who stumbled on his feet, felt the anger course through him. He had the strong urge to punch Jihan but was stopped by Y/N before he could even do it. She shook her head and patted his back to calm him down. "Jimin, don't. You have to stay calm. People are watching and there are kids here." She said and she cocked her head to the crowds behind them.

Jimin sighed, and agreed with Y/N. He took a deep breath and finally calmed down. Y/N beamed a smile at him which he mirrored back.

Suddenly, a loud thud was heard which caught their attention. They turned around to see the owner with his eyes and mouth wide open. They then averted their attention to Jihan who was smirking in victory. "One, out." He mocked Jimin and later winked at Y/N. She frowned, finding it weird.

"Keep your eyes to yourself, mutt," Jimin growled at him and Jihan laughed in amusement.

Jihan then averted his attention back to the game. His eyes focusing on his targets and hands held up, aiming the gun at the target he caught on. Y/N glanced at the owner and he was gritting his teeth. Jihan fired his shot and it hit the target perfectly on the head.

"WHAT? HOW?" The owner exclaimed, extremely shocked by what happened. Y/N chuckled, knowing the owner was defeated.

He looked unbothered like he already knew the result of it. "Where is my prize?" He asked the man, giving him the look that would scare anyone.

The owner gulped down his fear and quickly gave him the white teddy bear. "Here you go, young man."

Jihan took it in his hand, smiling in satisfaction. Y/N looked over at Jimin and he looked upset. "It was meant for me. He wanted to give it to me." Y/N pitied him at the same time feeling sad because she wanted Jimin to win the teddy bear and give it to her.

Jihan suddenly walked over to them and stopped right in front of Y/N. Jimin glared at him but once again he was not bothered. He held out the teddy bear in front of Y/N and smiled brightly. "Here, for you!" He gifted Y/N the teddy bear.

"M-Me?" She stammered and pointed at herself, doubting if he really wanted to give the prize to her which he earned for himself. Jihan nodded, confirming his decision.

Y/N gulped and glanced at Jimin as He looked away and she could tell that he was sad but just wouldn't fight back. She wished for him to fight back but, since he didn't, she decided that she should instead. She gave Jihan a small smile and he thought she was going to accept it but she didn't.

"Sorry, Jihan. But, I don't like toys." Y/N rejected politely but it still stung Jihan's heart. She looked at Jimin who was unaware of the situation. "Jimin?" She called, tilting her head to get a clear view of his face.

"H-huh?" Jimin stuttered and looked at Y/N with a confused expression. "Yes?"

"You have another chance, right? Let's get the notebook. My notebook is almost out of pages. I needed one." She said and gave Jimin a warm smile.

Jimin's eyes widened and after processing what Y/N had said, he blushed. His cheeks turned red like a tomato. "O-Oh….o-okay." He stuttered but later grinned, expressing his happiness. His sadness was thrown away to the dumpster inside his mind.

They walked back to the stall, passing by Jihan who was still standing there with the teddy bear in hand. His grip on the soft toy tightened and his veins started to pop out.

Jimin grabbed Y/N's tiny hands in his, gaining her attention. She turned around and looked at him, waiting for him to talk. He pursed his plump lips, unsure about something. "I lost two times. I don't think I can win this one. Why don't you try it instead? You haven't got to play it." He said, giving Y/N the last chance.

"No, I believe you can win this time. Let me just talk to the owner. You wait here." She said and walked over to the owner.

Jimin scratches the non-existent itch on his head, confused a little. Suddenly, he felt a bad aura beside him. When he looked to the side, he flinched a little but it wasn't noticeable. "Why are you still here?" Jimin scoffed.

Jihan who stood beside him wouldn't spare him a glance as his eyes remained on Y/N who was talking to the owner. "To watch you screw up." He said nonchalantly. His words earned another death glare from Jimin.

As they were having their own little war, Y/N was having a chat with the owner or more like threatening the owner. "You really think that no one would notice you scamming people?" She asked, arching a brow.

"What? Young woman, I don't know what are you talking about--"

"You know damn well what I am talking about. The button under the countertop, controls the movement of the zombie picture right?" She asked, even though she knew about it. She just wanted to mock the owner.

The owner gulped, not finding the words to save himself. "So, if you let us win fairly, I won't expose you. Look at the couple behind me." Y/N whispered as she glanced behind her at an angry couple who were gossiping about the game stall. "Looks like they are getting suspicious of you. Do you want me to tell them?" Y/N smirked, knowing that she had scared him.

"No! Please, don't." He begged. "I-- I will let you play it normally. I am sorry. Please don't tell anyone." He apologised, hoping that she would let him go.

"Deal." Y/N smiled and walked back to Jimin. As she walked back, a smile appeared on Jimin's face. "Jimin, you can play now." She said and her lips curved upward into a small smile. Jihan being the third wheel, stared at them silently.

Jimin nodded his head and both walked to the counter. He took the toy gun, aiming for his target as he inhaled and exhaled, preparing himself. "Don't screw up, Park Jimin." He warned himself. This time, he poured all his effort into this last shot. Y/N stood beside him with anxiety, anticipating to hear the thud sound. With a blink of an eye, Jimin fired his last shot and a loud thud was heard. Jimin's eyes widened, surprised that he nailed it.

Y/N was the first one who cheered and she gave Jimin a big hug. "Great job, Jimin! You did it! I told you that you can do this!" She gave him a thumbs up and giggled happily.

A smile was formed on Jimin's plump lips and his eyes turned into a crescent. His confidence shot up to the roof. He was super happy.

"Congrats, young man! You won this cute notebook!" The owner gave him the cute blue notebook with a cat drawing on it. Jimin happily took it in his hand. Later, he looked at Y/N and gave it to her with a big smile plastered on his face.

She chuckled and took it in her hand. "Thank you." She thanked him and hugged the notebook with her arm close to her chest where she could feel her heartbeat. They both smiled at each other, satisfied. The sun was setting, and the sky was once again painted with a series of warm colours. "It's almost sunset. Shall we go home?" Y/N asked while looking at the beautiful sky.

"Yeah sure. Let's go." Jimin agreed and took her hand, intertwining their fingers. But somehow, Y/N wouldn't budge. He looked back at her and she was looking around the area. "Who are you looking for?"

"Jihan. Where did he go?" She asked as she looked around in the crowds.

Jimin rolled his eyes, hating the way Y/N called his name. "Who cares where he disappeared to? Bet he got sucked into a blackhole or something."

Y/N turned back around and laughed a little. "Blackhole?" She arched a brow at him, finding his words pretty amusing.

Jimin chuckled in return giving her hand a little squeeze. "Let's go. Today is only about us." He winked and pulled her along making her blush hard at his words and almost have trouble breathing, but luckily she managed. They both then left the amusement park hand in hand with a happy memory freshly created in their mind. The sun was setting, the sky was painted in orange and yellow --- and under it, Jimin and Y/N were laughing happily. It was indeed a beautiful memory.
