" Bickering "

"Yo guys! I am coming in! Better get a room----" He halted once he took in the view after opening the door. His eyes widened in shock but later he scrunched his face in confusion, crossing his arms after.

"What the hell are you guys........doing?" He asked, raising his eyebrows at the two in front of him.

Jimin's hair was wet as a bead of liquid formed and trickled down from his blonde hair. His head perked up and looked at V with his shocked eyes. Y/N who was on the floor below Jimin gulped after seeing V.

V stood there, continuously tapping his foot on the floor, waiting patiently for one of them to explain the situation. "So?" He asked again, turning his head to Jimin.

"Uh....well...." Jimin spoke up first but he seemed to be having trouble in finding the correct words to defend himself. His eyes then travelled to Y/N who was wearing a nervous expression. Noticing Jimin's stare, she looked at him and Jimin hinted, jerking towards V — telling her to say something of help but she mouthed a 'what?' instead, causing Jimin to glare at her. Shocked by his sudden change of attitude, she gasped in disbelief.

"Hey! It's not my fault that you wanted to join me in building this pyramid of dictionaries." She whined and Jimin's eyes widened in shock. He then glared back at her and started rapping colourful words. "Yah! Don't curse at me! You were in this too! You could have stopped me but you didn't!" She spat back.

Of course, who could actually stay for even a minute reading thick books, like dictionaries? No one, unless you were some crazy yet smart person. Y/N however, was a crazy-dumb woman. She had tried building up the determination that she used to have when she was young but, she had forgotten that she had always given up in the end. Reading a whole textbook was fine but a whole dictionary? Someone might have to end the world to get her to read that.

Only 10 seconds had passed, and she was already groaning in frustration. She hadn't got to finish reading the first page. The first page was full of words and unknown phrases that were driving her nuts. She was starting to believe that it's all an alien language except it sounded like English. Lying her head on the table, she stared at the stacked books as her eyes sparkled up when she thought of something.

A few minutes later, Jimin finally came out of the bathroom. His hair was wet from washing the dirt off and his face looked fairer now, opposite from before that was covered in grey dust. He was about to ask how was her study session going on but when he looked up, his mouth hung open in astonishment.

Y/N who was on her tiptoe, looking at him with shocked eyes as she started laughing nervously. She thought Jimin would be angry to see this but instead, it was exactly the opposite. Jimin was rather excited.

He decided to join her in building the pyramid and at some times Y/N would nag at him, telling him to be careful on placing the books. When Jimin stood on his tiptoes, she had laughed at him, teasing his height but immediately shut up when Jimin walked closer to her and towered over. Jimin then smirked in satisfaction when he could sense his victory while Y/N pouted in defeat. 

However, how did they got themselves on the floor? Pretty much their height had got to them. Tiptoeing for far too long, their feet eventually turned sore and Y/N being the clumsy person she was, stumbled and Jimin instinctively held onto her but was ended being pulled along, landing on her harshly. Unfortunately, V had to come in when the time was not quite pleasant.

"Ohhh so now everything is my fault, huh?" Jimin spat back sarcastically and scoffed later.

"You are the one who blamed it on me just now!" Y/N snapped back, refusing to back down as well.

"Well technically, isn't it obvious that you are the one who started all this?" Jimin fought back while gesturing to the big pyramid made of layers and layers of the thick books. "This is literally a child's play. What are you? 5?" Jimin scoffed and crossed his arms over his chest as he shook his head slowly.

"YOU----" Y/N was about to fight back but V's loud voice boomed over hers.

"BOTH OF YOU SHUT YOUR FRICKIDY, TRASHY, CHILDISH MOUTHS AND BANANA THE FLIP UP!!" V exploded, spitting languages that no one probably understood. However, his alien language was able to catch Jimin and Y/n's attention. Silence hovered in the air, and the ticking of the clock was the only sound heard.

Finally, V decided to break the wall of silence by letting out a frustrated sigh. "Guys, I had a rough day. So, I would appreciate it if you--"

"She started it!" Jimin spat again.

"What me?! You were in this too!!" Y/N shouted back and they started another round of their beautiful bickering.

V's face remained expressionless but inside he was spitting fire. He took a deep breath and snapped his fingers. Dark charcoal smoke started swallowing his whole body. Later, it slowly dispatched and it revealed a slim body that had a curvy waist and long, glossy hair covered her back. It was Valentine. She then started clearing her throat, testing her vocals. She took another deep breath before —

"YOU TWO!!! SIT DOWN AND SHUT YOUR DUCK MOUTH BEFORE I RIP IT OFF!!" She screamed with her loud, high pitched voice and made a huge impact on Jimin and Y/N. They started hearing ringing in their ears.

"Dude! Valentine why did you do that?!" Jimin whined as he continued to cover his ears. As for Y/N, she was already on the floor, crouching - her hands, covering her ears.

"Well, you guys won't shut up so.." She trailed off and simply shrugged. She then walked over to the table, and her eyes travelled from the bottom of the pyramid to the upper part. It's incomplete but all it would take was one book to complete it. She looked back at Jimin who was still holding onto the book. "Give me that," Valentine said as she held out her hand.

Jimin tilted his head in confusion but he gave the book to her anyway. She then took it in her hand, but suddenly, she threw it in the air, scaring Jimin and Y/N who had their eyes on her. However, instead of dropping on the floor, the book floated in the air.

"What the-- this is one of the Harry Potter things!" Y/N exclaimed and upon hearing that, Jimin shook his head in disbelief. "Wait...what was the spell again? Wendy leviosar?" Y/N continued to mumble nonsense to herself trying to remember the correct spell and Jimin just gave her a weirded out look. As for Valentine, she controlled the floating book and finally, she let it land on top of the pyramid. She smiled to herself in satisfaction.

"Done!" She said and the two behind her, looked up to see the perfect and complete pyramid. Later, Jimin scoffed and looked at Valentine with a judging look.

"I thought you said we are childish?" Jimin asked, sarcastically. Valentine was still staring up at the pyramid, unfazed by what Jimin said.

"I met him today." She said, calmly. Jimin's eyes widened and he looked at Valentine to see her emotionless face but, even so, her eyes showed pure anguish and yearning. Jimin who knew about her past could only picture what might have happened centuries and centuries ago, through those black orbs of hers.

"Valent, your eyes...it's—" His words got cut off when she looked back at him, her black orbs staring into his soul. Valentine closed her eyes, waiting for a few seconds to pass. When she reopened them, it revealed the eyes she always had - the red snake eyes.

"Okay, I know I am some kind of a ghost but, I am not actually invisible right?" Y/N asked, sarcastically. Both Valentine and Jimin looked at the irritated Y/N who was now standing on her feet.

"Oh yeah, about that......." Jimin trailed, pretending to sound serious. "Technically, we can't see you but we can hear your voice. According to your voice, we picture where you might be standing so it would look like we can see you." Jimin deadpanned and Y/N fell for the lie.

"Wait really?" Her mouth opened and closed in shock like a fish. She gulped down the awkward feeling and looked up at Jimin to ask him another question, but when she saw his face, she realised that she was fooled by none other than Park Jimin. His face looked like he would blow up in a fit of laughter any moment. It did later when Valentine finally spoke up.

"I told you to train her Jimin not to scare her," Valentine said and crossed her arms while Jimin continued to laugh at Y/N whose face had turned into a red tomato.

"Gosh, this is fun." He said between his laughter. Y/N eyed him, glaring intensely and it looked like her anger would take some time to subside.

"Ass****" She spat and Jimin instantly stopped laughing.

"What did you just call me?" Jimin asked, unable to believe what he just heard.

Instead of repeating what she said before, Y/N started spitting colourful rainbow words at Jimin and he gasped in shock at the words that came out from the woman whose appearance looked like nothing but an angel.

Another 3rd Round of loud bickering commenced and Valentine really wished she could end her life right then and there, but it wasn't until later that she realised that she had died centuries ago. "Oh...my devil's wings." She groaned and massaged her temples as if she was having a headache. In the background, the loud voices of Jimin and Y/N were filled with nothing but languages that don't suit underage kids.

"Well, this is a first. The library never had been this cheerful before." Valentine smiled to herself as she continued to watch them bicker. She giggled. "What a couple."

"So, what you're saying is...Devils don't have a specific gender. Is that what you are trying to say?" Y/N repeated. Valentine nodded in reply as her eyes remained glued on her nails which were painted blood red. After a long hour of bickering, they finally decided to stop and begin the real training but of course, it always had to start with clearing off the confusion.

"Angels too. They can turn into any gender they want." Jimin explained once again and Y/N mouthed an 'Oh'.

"Well, that's not important." Valentine finally voiced up. The two turned their heads and looked at Valentine as they waited for her to continue. "What's important is, which form would you like me to be in since you are gonna be my Time Guardian soon." Valentine teased, wearing a smirk. She then shot Y/N a seductive look. Well, let's just say Y/N almost gagged. Her face was plastered with the expression of pure disgust.

On the other hand, Valentine was shocked that she failed to get the reaction she wanted out of Y/N.

"Valent, you are forgetting that you are in your female form," Jimin said to clear off the confusion. Valentine then finally understood it, and quickly changed back to her male form.

"Does this make you comfortable, sweetie?" V said as he wriggled his eyebrows at Y/N. She was not comfortable, not at all.

Her mouth twitched. "Are you asking me to shave off your eyebrows?" Y/N growled through her gritted teeth and V gasped, feeling offended.

"How dare you even think of shaving my beautiful eyebrows!" V gasped once again and Y/N shrugged at his dramatic reaction. Jimin who sat at the table had started feeling nauseous when he heard V praising himself and called his eyebrows beautiful.

"All right, that's enough. We need to start." Jimin cut in and took a chair to sit on because sitting on the table had been hurting his precious butt. "Do you have any more questions to ask?" Jimin asked, as his eyes landed on Y/N. She looked at him and of course, those questions she wanted to ask for so long came in.

"Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to live happily? Did you miss me? Did you forgive me? Will you ever forgive me, if I tell you the truth?" Multiple questions came in at once and those were just a few of them out of so many. The guilt started building up again. Every time she looked at him, the past came crawling back to her, controlling her emotions and spilling them all over the place. She clenched her fists, holding in the tears that were threatening to come out. She then let out a shaky breath instead.

"Hey, you okay?" Jimin was about to stand up but Y/N stopped him, nodding her head as a signal that she was fine. V who had changed back into Valentine, stayed in silence as she knew what was bothering her because of the smell in the air.

"Ah...she's reeks of guilt. It's been a long time since I smelled this kind of a smell." Valentine thought to herself as she eyed Y/N, who was still trying to catch her breath.

"Yeah, I do have a question." Y/N finally said and Jimin then nodded in reply, gesturing for her to continue. "How does Time Shop work?" She finally threw out her question, which was not at all related to the multiple questions building up in her mind.

Valentine nodded her head, feeling a little proud and as for Jimin, he smiled the smile that everyone could agree belonged to an angel. However, his eyes gave off a bad vibe and it ruined the whole mood that the smile gave off. Instead, it looked like a psychotic smile. Y/N gulped down her fear and ignored all those bad feelings. Jimin clapped his hands and it caused Y/N to flinch a little.

"Good question!" Jimin chirped.
