(Eon's P.O.V.)
I put down my hood and smiled. "Sorry, Mr.Greg."
He handed me an apple. "When was the last time you ate?"
I quickly accepted the food. "Can we talk inside, please?" I asked, watching my back.
Mr.Greg nodded and we went in his home above his shop. "So, when was your last meal, Eon?" He repeated.
"Five days." I answered.
Mr. Greg sighed, "You need to eat more often. I know that you're not like us, but still." His face was laced with worry.
I looked into his green eyes, "I would if it was safe, we both know that your act won't last forever."
Mr. Greg had a frown on his face. He put his hand on mine. "Eon, you are like a daughter to me, even if you aren't human. I promise I will never leave you. Can you please stop trying to run and hide?"
I could tell he was serious, I moved my hand away, fearing that I would hurt him. "I-I don't know, what if they find out that you've been lying? They will kill you."
He got up and cupped my face in his hands, "I promise. I will not leave you."
I felt tears form in my eyes, they turned to steam as they went down my face. "T-thank you." I hugged him tightly.

       (Mr.Greg P.O.V.)

        Eon's skin was warm to the touch, but I didn't care. Those people... Why are they after this innocent girl? I returned the hug to Eon.
         "Now, how about some dinner?" I asked her.
        Eon let go of me, "Yes  please."
         I smiled and walked into the kitchen, I saw Eon follow me. She had a smile on her face. I started up the stove and then everything went black.
