The constant clicking of the keys on the keyboard and the flipping of papers were the only noise that filled up the large office, what sound were they expecting anyways? They were working in a paperwork company, meaning they have to enter data and correct the incorrect documents throughout the whole day.

He has been working in this company for three years but he is still in the same place, no promotions, no Salary raises. It's almost as if people doesn't care about his position, and he wonder if people have noticed that he has been in the same position for three years.

Not that he wasn't working hard or he wasn't experienced, he is a SNU graduate for Gods sake. It's because rich people lure their boss with money and take the higher positions. It's the filthy rich people who ruins his life also the employees working with him are no better.

They use him like he is a slave, he has to do the others work or he would not get to eat his lunch peacefully. A loud bell rang across the room motioning the people that it was lunch break. Loud groans left out the people lips in the room.

He stretched his limbs and stood from his chair, he quickly grabbed his coat so he could run out before his employees speak to him but he failed "Yo bring me some food from the canteen" a man said and placed the money on his table.

"Mine too!! Mine!! Don't forget Mine!" More people placed money on his table so he would bring their lunch for them and he had enough of their attitude. He wasn't their slave, what were they thinking "you want your lunch, You go buy it" he said and wore his coat.

The man who placed his money on the table looked at him with a raised eyebrow "wah Yoongi, when did you learn to reject us?" He asked patting Yoongi's shoulder "enough Joking man, bring our lunch we are hella tired" he said and Yoongi harshly pushed the mans hand off his shoulder.

"I Told you, if you need lunch Go.Buy.It" Yoongi said sternly and tried to walk away but he was harshly pushed on the wall nearby making him wince in pain "what did you say? Do you know who you are talking to right now?" The man asked making yoongi chuckle.

"What? You think I'm scared of you? All this while the reason I bought your lunch was because I was being kind but I think you took advantage of it, now leave before something bad happens" Yoongi's eyes darkened making the man gulp.

It was the first time he has ever show this side of his, none has ever seen Yoongi in a bad mood cause he always stays by himself, he bothers no one, just work work work. It surprised the others in the room to see him like this.

"Chill dude" the man pats his shoulder and Yoongi give him a glare which resulted in the man retreating his hand from his shoulder "yep, We can get our lunch, Right guys c'mon, Let's leave him alone" the employees nodded and left him alone.

He let out a loud sigh and walked out of the office with a great headache, Like always he walked down the street towards his favourite cafe, the best place to relax and have food in his opinion. Taking his usual seat near the window he ordered his food and scrolled through his social media.

From a few minutes his eyes fell on the Girl who was serving food at the other tables, she had a long frock on and her hair was dark and short. An apron was worn ontop of her beautiful dress. Her doe eyes were focused on her notepad while her pen tapped on her cherry lips , she was thinking about something.

A small smile crept onto his face, her name was Alecia and she is the daughter of the manager of the cafe. She lives two lanes away from his house, how does he know it? Well he does, like everyone does, he didn't stalk her.

Yeah he did stalk her but not to hurt her, just to know if she walks home safe at night after closing down the shop, gotta protect a lady from danger. His gaze never left hers until his food arrived, he thanked the waiter and dug into his food also not forgetting to steal some glances at her.

He raised his head to look at her direction and he choked when he witnessed that her focus was on him. A dark shade of red wrapped up his cheek and he immediately looked at his food trying to ignore her stare but he wasn't sure if she was looking at him so he raised his head to look and shit, she was still looking at him.

He gulped down the water to calm his heart down, he was literally eating too fast trying to ignore her beautiful stares and he was sweating from head to toe, not sure if the food is spicy or not cause he doesn't even notice that he already has finished his lunch.

He quickly places the amount he has to pay on the table and walks out of the Cafe but he made sure to take a last glance at her. With a small smile he left the place. He was smiling like a middle school boy who was kissed by her crush.

"God she just looked at you why are you so flustered?" He smacked his head while walking down the busy streets towards his office. The day wasn't hot as usual, the sky looked gloomy as if something bad was going to happen.

His boots clicked on the hard floor while he walked down the alley passing many strangers, suddenly he was pulled into a nearby lane by someone and he couldn't even predict who it was. He was slammed on the wall and he gasped when he felt a hard punch on his face.

"I told you not to touch it" the man yelled and punched him again making him fall on the ground, blood trickled down his lips and he quickly tried to stand up but he was kicked on the Ribs. A painful scream emits from his lips.

Yoongi smoothly slid his leg across the floor making the man fall on the ground, he got ontop of the man and straddled his waist and started punching him "I...." punch "didn't.." punch "Touch..." punch "anything" Punch.

The man spat out some blood and looked at Yoongi with hatred "You will have to face the consequences Miral, mark my words, You are going to pay for it" the man said and with a blink of an eye he disappeared from under him.

Yoongi stood up and panicked, the man disappeared into thin air just like dust, he frantically looked around and his heart was drumming in his chest. He leaned on the wall and closed his eyes hoping that when he open his eyes it would all just be a dream.

But suddenly the earth started shaking, he clinged onto a pole trying to steady himself from not fall around. Thunders roared in the sky and the dark clouds gulped down the once pale blue sky. It started raining heavily.

The Earth rumbled below him like it was raging, screams of the people on the road echoed through the surrounding. He heard cracks above him and he raised his head up. The wall above him was cracking up, he quickly let go of the pole and ran out of the Alley and tried his best to keep his balance while running.

Many people bumped onto him making him fall on his knees. From a distance a crying of a kid was heard and he frantically looked around and spotted a kid crouched near a bin holding for her dear life, without thinking twice he quickly picked the kid and ran into a shop nearby and hid under the table.

The rumbling of the earth and Roars of the Thunder continues for a few more minutes and everything goes silent. He looked at the trembling kid in his arms "are you okay?" He asked and the girl nodded making him smile "Don't worry I'll keep you safe till I find your parents okay" He said and tapped her nose making her smile.

The people hidden in the shop slowly walked out of the shop and cautiously looked around. Everything went back to normal. The pale blue sky emerged from the dark clouds brightening up the day. A loud sigh left his lips and he walked out with the kid in his arms.

Suddenly the kid jumped off his hands and ran away, before he could stop her she was already near her parents. He smiled and bowed at her parents and bid her goodbye. What they experienced right now was terrifying, who knew they would experience a sudden earthquake. The news didn't even warn the people.

He decided to not go back to work and he hoped his office has broken down to pieces, he decided to go back home and check if his house is fine or he would have to sleep on the streets.

I hate myself. I promised myself not to publish any book till my exams are over but exams are on May. I can't stay away from wattpad for such a long time 😭😭😭 and I still haven't finished Quite Place and it frustrates me but here I am with a new book
