"What?" Taehyung yelled causing everyone inside the shop to stare at them.

"Yah! Not too loud!" Jimin whispered looking deadly embarrassed.

Taehyung looked at him,  taking in a soft breath to calm his nerves. Soon, they where no longer the object of everyone's attention.

"You want me to be your boyfriend?" Taehyung added with eyes wide open.

"Fake boyfriend!" Jimin corrected. Taehyung groaned.

"It's only going to be for a short time. Besides, remember you told me not to make things easy for him and to play hard to get" he pressed further.

Taehyung shook his head rapidly. "Yeah, I did but not this! This is a really bad idea...i can't be your boyfriend"

"Fake boyfriend!" Jimin corrected again.

Taehyung nodded. "Yeah right Jimin. Whether it's fake or not, I have to do things with you in public and it's going to be weird"

Jimin frowned. "Weird? We've been doing couple things since highschool. Remember when I had to cover for you and pretend to be your boyfriend to chase away those girls who were always after you?"

Taehyung sighed and Jimin nodded his head satisfactorily. "This time won't be any different. See it as repayment for what I did for you in high school"

Taehyung scoffed. "You're not serious"   he said and Jimin just smirked.

"Now I know nothing goes for nothing" he whispered gravely and Jimin gazed at him deeply. He didn't want to think about the fact that Taehyung could have feelings for him. He didn't know when his feelings began or if it had always been there. Either way, it would make everything difficult but he put it aside.

"Please Taehyung. I need to make Jungkook notice me. I need to make him see what he'll be missing if he chooses Taemin over me" he pleaded wearing an adorable pout on his face.

"If he chooses you, what happens?"

"We fake end our relationship and everyone is happy!"

Taehyung sighed. "If only it was that easy" he whispered. He was quite for a while before taking a deep breath.

"Okay I'm doing this only because you are my best friend" he said with a final sigh.

A wide smile spread across Jimin's lips, his eyes curving into moon crescents.

"Thank you! Thank you so much" he said happily.

Taehyung smiled at him.

"We can start now. We have to make it look as real as possible so Jungkook doesn't suspect anything. Only our close friends can know about our agreement"

Taehyung nodded hiding a light frown. For some reason, he wasn't comfortable with this arrangement. He had a strange feeling this was all going to bite him in the ass later.

When they left the ice cream shop, holding hands felt a bit awkward now. Maybe it was because they where now something more even though it was fake. They laughed the awkwardness off trying to make things lighter.

They returned to the dorm and stopped in front of Jimin's room.

"Thanks Taehyung. You've made me feel a whole lot better" he said.

"This is the part where the boyfriends kiss before parting ways but of course I'm not going to kiss you...ew" Taehyung squeezed his face and Jimin hit his chest playfully faking a frown.

"But we've kissed before" Jimin reminded him and his friend's face turned red.

"That doesn't count. You where drunk" Taehyung said and Jimin laughed shaking his head at him.

"Okay whatever you say"

They embraced each other.

"Bye Jimin!" Taehyung whispered.

"Bye Taehyung!" Jimin whispered back and they finally separated.

Jimin was all smiles when he entered his room. Hoseok was lying on his bed bobbing his head to a song he was playing on his iPad. He removed the ear piece from his ear and stared at Jimin when he entered.

"Wow! You look happy. Was the date that good?" he said cheerfully.

Jimin kicked off his shoes tiredly and laid on his bed.

"The date was a disaster. It got ruined by the appearance of Lee Taemin. I suddenly became invincible to Jungkook"

Hoseok stared at him strangely. "Then why do you look happy? Knowing you, you should be bawling your eyes out right about now"

Jimin smiled. "That's because Taehyung made me feel better by taking me out for ice cream"

Hoseok didn't look surprised "Of course Taehyung would make you feel better"

"But we planned something together. Something to make Jungkook jealous"

Hoseok seemed curious so Jimin continued.

"Taehyung and I decided to become fake boyfriends..."

The look that Hoseok gave him made him keep shut immediately. The air suddenly became to hot as he felt a crippling sensation all over his skin. It was like he should run out of that room immediately.

"Who initiated this ridiculous plan?" he suddenly said frowning hard as he stared deep into his face with arms crossed over his chest.

Jimin felt scared for an unknown reason. "um... Me?"

Hoseok sprang up from his bed looking quite angry.

"You selfish motherfucker!" he cursed and Jimin was flabbergasted.

"What?"

"How could you ask that of him?"

Jimin was surprised at  Hoseok's fury. He had never looked this angry with him before. Never!

He gulped "Why are you...."

"Have you ever considered the fact that he might have feelings for you and you want him to fake date with you just so you can make some other guy jealous?"

He let out a frustrated breath. "You did this because you know he can never refuse you"

"Taehyung doesn't like me!" Jimin yelled.

Hopefully

He continued "Besides we are only friends and this isn't the first time we've pretended to be a couple to help each other out"

He took a deep breath "Taehyung is my friend and he understands. He only wants to help. Everything is fine. Nothing is going to go wrong. It won't get out of hand I promise"

Hoseok frowned. "It better not because I don't want that to see that boy getting hurt because of you" he said and landed back on his bed.

Jimin shrugged. "Damn Hobi, I'm not that bad and besides, I didn't know you liked Taehyung that much!"

Hoseok chewed his lower lip. "I kinda had a crush on him but he was so absorbed in you that he never noticed me"

Jimin hugged Hoseok like a koala as he continued talking. "He's a good guy Jimin. He often volunteers at this orphanage home every weekend. I see him taking food to the little children there and helping out the elderly whenever he comes across them. He's a pure soul Jimin so please don't hurt him"

"I won't Hobi. I know how great a person Taehyung is. He's my best friend remember so I will try to draw the line in this fake dating thing"

"Just don't let it last too long"

Jimin hugged him tighter. "Okay but are you still angry with me?"

"Maybe a little!" his roommate whispered  and Jimin tickled his sides. The older began to roar with laughter and Jimin was glad to see he was no longer angry but that night, he thought about what Hoseok said and he realized he was correct. Being in a fake relationship with Taehyung was really a selfish thing to do without taking his friend's feelings into consideration so he would try not to let things get too far.

The following morning, he woke up to a new day. A new day in the past. He was preparing for school when he received a text message. He looked into his phone and saw it was from Taehyung.

TaeTae
So...i don't know.
Should I walk you to
Your department or something?

Jimin
That will be fine.

TaeTae
Okay, I'll be in your room soon

They ended the chat and Jimin finished dressing. As soon as he was done, he heard a knock on the door. He opened and saw Taehyung standing there with an awkward smile.

"So...let's go!" he said with a shaky voice.

Jimin laughed at how stiff he was.

"Loosen up Tae, it's not like you haven't walked me to my department before. You've done it several times"

"Oh... Alright"

Jimin laughed again. "It's going to be fine"

Taehyung nodded and turned to Hoseok who was walking past them.

"Hey Hobi!"

"Hi Taehyung. Jimin's told me everything you two are about to do. Are you okay with it?"

Taehyung smiled. "of course! Anything for Jimin" he said and Hoseok forced a smile on his face.

"We'll be going now!" Jimin said loudly and grabbed Taehyung's arm then pulled him out of the room as he waved goodbye to Hoseok. Hoseok watched them leave.

"Whatever, it's not my business anyway" he muttered under his breath.

They walked together to Jimin's department hand in hand. Taehyung's department wasn't that far so it wasn't that much of an inconvenience. As they neared the building, Jimin instantly spotted Jungkook's black jeep packed at the front of the department. He alerted Taehyung.

"Isn't that Jungkook's car?" he whispered.

Taehyung nodded and as they got closer to the front entrance, they noticed Jungkook and Taemin standing before them. They seemed to be in deep discussion because Taemin was smiling and laughing while Jungkook openly flirted with him.

Jimin gripped Taehyung's hand strongly.

"Follow my lead" he whispered. Taehyung was in confusion when Jimin suddenly burst out laughing thereby attracting the attention of the duo. He understood immediately and started laughing also even though nothing was funny.

"oh Tae Tae, you are so hilarious" Jimin said loudly, his eyes glinting as they walked past the two who were now staring at them. There was a light frown on Jungkook's face when he looked at them.

Jimin turned to them as if he was just seeing them for the first time.

"Hey guys. I didn't see you there. Morning!" he rang out.

Jungkook nodded gravely.

"Wow...you look happy" he said eyeing them.

"I am actually" Jimin said then looked at Taehyung nudging him secretly. His friend understood as always. 

"We are dating!" he blurted out hoping his voice wouldn't betray him.

Jungkook who had been holding Taemin's hand all these while dropped it suddenly and stared at them looking shocked and confused.

"What?" he whispered softly. Jimin felt so satisfied watching the confusion in his eyes. He held Taehyung tighter, pressing his chest closer to his body.

"Because of a certain someone, I was upset yesterday but Taehyung made it all better. Didn't you babe?"

Taehyung nodded and stiffened as Jimin wrapped his arms around his neck and placed a small kiss on his cheek.

"See you later babe" he cooed then turned to the two.

"Let's go Taemin, we'll be late for class" he said and without sparing Jungkook a second glance, he started walking away.

"Sorry, I have to go" Taemin said.

Jungkook just stared blankly as Taemin and Jimin left together. When they where out of sight, he turned to Taehyung.

"Boyfriend? You're really Jimin's boyfriend?" he scoffed with a look of suspicion shining in his eyes.

Taehyung nodded. Saying it out loud felt too weird. Jungkook suddenly flashed him a big smile keeping him on edge.

"Hyung... Can we go for a drive?"
