"What!?!?!?!" The trio yelled

"Stop yelling" Y/N's mom(Mrs. Choi) said, Covering her ears.

"How do you expect us not to yell? Mom, you just said things that only happen in fairy tales" Y/N said, being sure that he was stating a fact and thought this was some kind of joke.

"Well you see along time ago when your great grandparents went to school they  were chosen to protect a powerful book of magic recipes but when the book came to me and my two best friends someone stole the book which caused many problems so we left and came here to live a normal life" Mrs. Choi explained while looking back at her old self.

"Wow you sound crazier then the Mad Hatter" Y/N said, earning an elbow from Gyuvin.

"Well follow me" Mrs. Choi asks them to follow her.

They followed her to the basement and stopped near the wall.

"What am I looking at?" Matthew asked.

"Just watch" With the flick of her wrist a door appeared and through that door was a garden of magic spices and plants.

"Wow what is this place and how did we never know it was here." Gyuvin asked.

"This is the secret spice garden that was passed to me by my parents and now that the time has come I am passing it to you." Mrs. Choi said.

The latter were surprised and fascinated by the different types of plants and spices.

"Here eat thiese"Mrs. Choi offered baked carrot sticks to the boys which they happily accepted.

As soon as they ate the carrot sticks the plants started to glow in different colors.

"What is happening?" Matthew asked, looking as lost as a sheep.

"That is a spice finder spell, it helps us to differentiate between spices," Mrs Choi said.

"There are 26 spice families and each has their own color." Mrs. Choi continued.

While she was explaining, Gyuvin saw a plant glowing purple, he was about to touch it but was stopped by Mrs. Choi.

"Don't touch it! It's a Night Blooming plant" Gyuvin looked confused.

"It can make you repel or attract people and you never know what will happen"(Try to guess what I mean and why do you think Mrs. Choi told him not to touch it?) She explained.

After a long time in the garden and learning about different spices and plants they went back up to the living room.

"now that you got your letter to the school tomorrow we'll go shopping to get the things you need" Mrs. Choi said

The other three were nervous but still agreed wanting to know more about their families past, to know about the magic and ... .about the book.
