*In Honest trailers guy voice* When we last saw link

Link had reached the giant ball thing on top of the tower when the arrows snapped he yelled "ZELDA!" There was no answer... Link looked at the pole holding the vast tower up and decided to climb that. He hug jumped it and got to the top. He climbed up the ball and found Zelda, tied to a pole with the fierce deity Holding a knife to her throat.

"Take ONE more step and she dies!" He called out strongly gripping the knife closer

"Okay" Link called and took out his bow and a light arrow.  He shot it and the deity didn't flinch. instead he caught in midair and turned it dark, almost like an ice arrow, but a little darker.

A/N Welcome back to ZELDA SCHIENCE! today we look at the arrow of darkness! So the transformation is like an aura thing. a spirit of pure evil, like fierce deity, can change a light arrow unless used by a sage, like Zelda. But in the timeline, Zelda never becomes a sage... so yeah. 
Ganondorf could take link's strike with the Light arrow because he had evil intentions  but not evil aura... ganon is another story... 

The deity threw the arrow as if it was a dart straight at link. It hit him right in the heart. 

"Poisoned, like the swamp, Icy, like the mountain, Stormy, like the ocean, Plagued, like the desert"  He chuckled  "remember them?"

Link dropped to his knees and sputtered, coughing up purple blood. 

Zelda finally spoke "STOP! your'e hurting him! STOP!" She yelled at her captor, and then she broke out of his iron clasps. she ran over to link who slumped on the ground.

"Z...zelda..."  he whimpered, the blood trailing from his mouth with every tremble of his lips.

She started to shed tears "No... save your breath Link" She sobbed.

"I... Love....." He started and then went limp. Zelda touched his wrist. cold.  she stood up and took the master sword from his dead back. 

"You monster." She called "You monster." standing up, master sword trembling in her petite hands "You monster."

"You monsteryoumonsteryoumonster" Fierce deity mocked in a high voice. and took out a  demonic blade,  Zelda recognized it like the description in her father's story, of the demon king Demise. She Yelled and ran forward, swinging the sword downwards like an axe. the reaction sent her downwards, tumbling at the deities feet. The deity chuckled and swung the demon sword right to her back...
