Stitches
They were taken somewhere new, Aurora looked at the man running towards them, her strength growing weaker as she leaned against Steve for support. Before they were taken to medical care, they were shown Fury, alive and resting surrounded by machines. She sighed, seeing the man her eyes filled with rage but needed help. Aurora was taken somewhere else to get patched up, her wounds still bleeding and soaking her skin.
Aurora glanced up at Steve who was standing by the doorway, she felt tears in her eyes, took a breath and stared at him helplessly. She thought back to when she first met Bucky, thinking about how scared she was and what she needed to do to treat his wounds. He was so broken then, and he's so much more broken now and seeing that evolution of damage across the years hurt her head, this man certainly never deserved it and part of her wished he really did die when he fell from the train just so he didn't need to go through all of this pain that he did go through.
"Bucky went through a lot for me, after he got me out, when he got back he told them I died of pink mist. It was the only way he could explain my 'death' without taking my body back, you and I both saw it back in the day and because of that, he went through so much more pain than he normally went through. Steve, I didn't know that he was still alive, if I knew I would've told you and would've done something but- I didn't know, I didn't know if he died after helping me." Steve hugged the girl, rubbing her back as she cried, Steve took her hand and looked her in the eye.
"It's good having you back, I'm sorry for how I've reacted to you, Aurora we're going to get him back. We'll get him back, I promise." Aurora nodded, opening the locket and staring at the photo of Bucky, he looked so much happier and had the look of a playful young man but that was long gone, more than likely never to return if he ever did escape from the man he had become.
"It sounds wrong, believe me... I know it sounds wrong, but I really wished that he didn't help me escape so I could still be there with help and help him when he needed it. He shouldn't be going through that alone."
"And neither should you, I know that you've escaped something really traumatic but you shouldn't be staying locked inside that apartment, you really need to speak to other people, you need to get support."
"Well, now that I know you're alive, you wanna be that support?" Steve nodded, smiling softly at the girl and left her to go continue talking with the others. Aurora grabbed her phone out and smiled seeing a call coming through about her sister. Steve walked away, the brunette was left alone
"Hey, Jessie, everything okay?"
"I saw what happened on the news, are you okay?"
"I'm fine, sweetie, are you okay?"
"I'm fine. What's going on?"
"Bucky's alive, I got go help him." Aurora heard a sigh on the other end of the phone, she smiled softly and listened to her sister's innocent voice, she was thankful it was still there after everything she's been through.
"Just don't get hurt again, I can't lose you."
"I won't I promise."
Aurora glanced at Maria as she handed her a case, she walked out to leave the brunette to her own devices and look at the item inside the case. Aurora glanced inside it, smiling as she saw what she guessed would be her new superhero suit.
The brunette wore Bucky's locket, she kept a dagger in one of the pouches that rested at her waist, the obnoxious boots each had a weapon in the holders and she honestly felt like something out of a comic but she also didn't really mind the costume.

The brunette followed everyone to the S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters, her goal was to help Steve with Bucky, hoping she could ease him off the terror that he was in and take away the pain that he was feeling. Aurora entered the room with the others she forced everyone into a corner with her telekinesis, holding them all there while Steve spoke over the intercom.
Aurora glanced at Steve as he shared a look with her, they both knew people were in the process of getting killed. The brunette dropped her powers, fiddling with the necklace as she waited for Steve's next orders, the girl knew that she would be injured severely in this mission and at this moment she wished she had the serum coursing through her system.
The two men along with Aurora started running to the raising helicarrier, she got quite a few out of their way just by controlling their minds to make them stop attacking them and stand in their spots mindlessly. Her time in Hydra certainly helped with her speed, she was not a fast person before but due to her training, she became as fast as the two men.
"Hey, Cap, how do we know the good guys from the bad guys?"
"If they're shooting at you, they're bad." Aurora snicked at the very true comment, she honestly forgot how honest Steve could be, especially in situations such as these. Aurora used a box to carry herself down to the ground, carefully floating on it as she made her way down. The girl stumbled off of it, running with Steve behind some crates, she fired back at the agents, following closely behind Steve to get to the floating slab of concrete.
Aurora piled all the agents in a shipping crate with a way of her hand, pushing the entrance to a wall so they couldn't escape and followed Steve up to where they needed to go. He swapped the cards, while she waited behind him and kept a lookout just in case anyone would follow them up. Sam changed the next one and left to help cover their behinds while they moved to the final air carrier.
Sam carried Aurora to the final aircraft, leaving her to wait while Steve did the dirty work, she honestly didn't know what was happening until Bucky started walking down the bridge. The brunettes stared at each other, the girl held her gun up at him, not trusting the murderous intent that he had in his eyes.
"Do you still know who I am?" She questioned, waiting for him to answer, Bucky nodded slightly and still had his gun pointed at her.
"Aurora - Winter's Princess, they made you for me... they weaponised you to suit me." Aurora shrugged, took a breath and rolled her eyes at the comment that was true, taking a step forward and smirked slightly.
"Who did they make me for? The Winter Soldier or Bucky?"
"Don't call me that!" Aurora refrained from flinching, his shout always terrified her yet she managed to keep her composure.
"Which one?"
"The one that they named you for, you're my princess, you're the girl that will fight by my side and help me take down Rogers and the rest of them, Hydra will succeed."
"I think you're forgetting who's got the mind powers, If I really wanted to, I'll tell you how it really is." Aurora stared at him in shock as he fired at her, she had no clue what happened to him in the last moments since they last saw each other but he forgot about her again or they changed how he saw her again.
"They want me to kill you." He stated, keeping his gun pointed at her, Aurora nodded, taking her finger off the trigger and placing her gun in its' holster before holding her hands in the air. Giving him free rein to fire at her.
"Then kill me."
