Quick A/N: Sorry for having to wait an entire month for this update, I've been pretty busy, and I also had a bit of some writer's block... But, the good thing is that I'm back and better than ever! I apologize in advance for the short chapter, but I'm still hoping that you will like this, and future chapters as well.

Fluttershy's POV

I was internally shocked to the core, but I just didn't want to let that bubble up to the surface since I was practically exploding with happiness. The way she moved her lips... It was as if they were designed just for me. After a moment, we finally pulled away and made direct eye contact.

Her face was probably just as red as mine was, but I could care less - I was enjoying every second of this moment.

"I like you too," I whispered out to her, lightly stroking her cheek gently. After those words were spoken, I swear, the smile on Dash's face grew the biggest I had ever seen before in my life. It was one of those dorky grins, and I couldn't help but giggle at how adorable and silly she looked. She looked down in embarrassment, and looked away casually while scratching the back of her head nervously.

"You... You don't understand how much I was waiting to hear those words, to be honest," Rainbow Dash said to me in a slightly shaky voice. I scooted closer until our legs were touching, and I lifted her head up by the chin and held it in front of me with both our noses touching.

"I've been waiting, hoping, and wondering if you ever felt the same way. I honestly haven't felt this way about anyone else before, and I'm glad the feelings are for you only," I spoke up a bit loudly. Rainbow Dash began fidgeting around with her hands and I could already see the surprise etched into her pupils, "I-I'm not one to admit how I feel, because I just feel like things will end badly... But... For some reason, I can sense that this will end differently."

Dash paused briefly, then leaned forward once more...

"Hey, Dash! Sorry we're - whoa... S-Sorry!" Rainbow Dash and I practically jumped out of our skins, the second we heard Monstarr's voice echo loudly through the house. We scooted away from each other in terror, then looked towards the front door, and sure enough saw the whole band, and four unfamiliar faces in back of the group staring at us in complete astonishment.

"I... Dashie... Why didn't you tell me you and Flutter Nutter were together?!" Pinkie Pie began hopping up and down in joy and ran toward the both of us.

"Pinkie! Wait!" Dash's pleas were ignored, the moment the pink blur hug attacked Rainbow Dash to the ground. I put up my hands over my mouth and was about to help her, until I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Heh... We all knew this would happen between you guys," Sunset Shimmer stated with a smirk. Applejack came walking up from behind her, and sat on the arm of the couch with a smug look on her face.

"Which is why we decided to leave ya two alone fer a while," the country girl declared, and leaned back into the couch comfortably, while I could still hear Rainbow Dash's complaints in the background.

"Hey, so are we going to like... Practice for a few minutes so Fluttershy can hear us play?" Spike asked, setting his black guitar case down in front of him. We all looked back at Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash, that both straightened up, and began walking towards us all.

"Yeah, sure thing... Come on, guys. Basement, ASAP!" Rainbow Dash called out, and took off running upstairs, while I was left with the rest of the band. Monstarr tapped my shoulder, then soon led me to the 'practice room' as she called it. We went through the kitchen, and soon came across a white door I hadn't noticed before in the past, and opened it to reveal a flight of concrete stairs leading down to the main part of the basement. As usual, it was pitch black down there, and I could already feel myself tense up in horror.

Someone must have sensed my reaction, and quickly switched on the light switch from where we stood, and in an instant, the whole room lit up, and revealed an incredible looking room. The brick walls were painted white, and had several posters of different people - most likely celebrities - taped onto each side of the room.

A standard red and black drum set was perched at the far corner of the room and had the words "THE NEVERLANDERS" drawn on sloppily with drippy black paint, but still looked impressive to say the least.

A mic stand stood several feet away from the drums and had wires attached to a large amplifier that was just at the side of where the drummer would be. Two other mic stands stood beside each other, but still keeping a good distance between one another, and as usual, were all hooked up to the same amp.

Several other small amplifiers were stacked on top of each other on the opposite side of the first one and had similar wires attached to them - probably to hook up with the guitars and the bass.

The band quickly set themselves up, and I looked over at Sunset Shimmer who had a baby blue electric guitar in hand. She attached the guitar strap to it, and soon put it on, just as the others had done. Spike had a purple, green, and white colored guitar that matched perfectly with his appearance, while Monstarr had a cherry red guitar.

Pinkie Pie sat behind her drum set with a pair of black drumsticks in hand, and continued to twirl them around in her hands, and throw them up in the air. After a few moments of sound-checking the mics, Rainbow Dash finally walked down the stairs with an amazing navy blue guitar, complete with neon yellow lightning strikes on the red fretboard.

"Hey guys," She spoke, and blushed a little when we made eye contact. I smiled, as she told me that I could sit on one of the foldable chairs in the back. I walked over near the staircase, and sure enough found a metallic colored chair and brought it back to have a good view of the whole band.

Everyone turned on their amps, and began to strum their instruments a few times, while joking around a little amongst each other. Sunset, Applejack, Spike, Monstarr, Pinkie, and Dashie huddled up together and said a few words before they all came back up to their mic stands.

Rainbow cleared her throat nervously and spoke into the mic, "All right... Um... So, this song is called Check Yes, Juliet... Hopefully you like it, and... Uh, yeah." I chuckled at how awkward Rainbow Dash was getting. It was extremely adorable.

"1... 2... 3..." Sunset Shimmer began playing the intro of the song, and so far it sounded good. A couple seconds passed, and soon the whole band joined in at once, and the sound itself was nice. The whole time my eyes were fixated on Dashie, and I could tell how concentrated she was on not messing up her parts.

"Check yes, Juliet

Are you with me?

Rain is falling down on the sidewalk

I won't go until you come outside."

Spike sang into the mic, and honestly... I never would have thought he could sing like that.

"Check yes, Juliet

Kill the limbo

I'll keep tossing rocks at your window

There's no turning back for us tonight..."

Rainbow Dash, and Monstarr both walked up to their microphones and began to sing melodically with Spike.

"Lace up your shoes

Ayo, ayo...

Here's how we do -

Spike and Monstarr stopped singing for a moment, and Rainbow Dash sang into the mic, looking straight at me.

"You and me..."

She backed away from the mic and chuckled to herself while I was still trying to comprehend every single event that had occurred to me in the past few days. Even though this was happening right now in front of my eyes, it was still difficult to believe that someone like Rainbow Dash would even fall for me. I mean... Why would anyone fall for someone like me? I'm not exactly anyone's cup of tea.

Spike resumed his main place, and began to take over the singing once more.

"Check yes, Juliet

I'll be waiting

Wishing, wanting yours for the taking

Just sneak out and don't tell a soul goodbye...

Check yes, Juliet

Here's the countdown:

3, 2, 1, now fall in my arms now

They can change the locks, don't let them change your mind."

They replayed the chorus part, and I still couldn't keep my eyes off of Rainbow Dash. The way she was able to keep up with the beat, and even sing was incredible. The whole band was sure to become famous one day. I can't wait to come home and tell my mom and my siblings about this day...

The view from here is getting better with you by my side."

By now, the whole band joined together in the singing, including Pinkie Pie.

Rainbow Dash strummed one last time, before grabbing onto her microphone and singing softly...

The whole band ended the song in one last note, and I clapped my hands over and over again. Throughout the whole song, I kept thinking to myself...
