"Dashie?" I called out in confusion. There, parked at the side of the curb, was Rainbow Dash on her motorcycle. She waved me over, and I walked over feeling very puzzled. Once I got there, she handed me the same helmet I got before and gestured for me to hop on. "Um... You don't have to drop me off if you don't want to... It's okay, I swear."

"Well... I did drive all the way over here to campus to give you a lift, so I guess it's too late to turn back now, don't ya think?" She smirked, and I was about to get on until I remembered something.

"Oh, um... Applejack invited me to watch your band play... And I just needed your approval... You know... Um... I don't know if you're okay with me tagging along, so... Um... Yeah," I squeaked and looked down in embarrassment. There was a long pause, before Rainbow Dash cracked up laughing.

"I'm totally fine with it. Plus, it'd be nice for you to come over so we can hang... It'll also be pretty nice since you'll be able to meet my sister, too." She scratched the back of her head, and looked somewhere else, "And hey, if you need to call your mom to ask, you can go right ahead." I nodded, then reached into my front pocket to take out my phone. I dialed my mom's phone number and she picked up on the second ring.

"Hello? Is everything okay, honey? Where are you? Are you safe?" I wanted to laugh at how worried my mom was. I'm lucky to have someone who's caring and protective of me.

"Yes, I'm fine, and I'm here at school in the bus area... I'm here with Rainbow Dash, and I was wondering if I could go over to her house to watch her band play, if that's okay with you?" There was a slight silence, until my mom sighed in relief, and laughed.

"Oh okay, and sure, you can go! Just be home before ten, okay? Okay, I'll let you go now. Bye, Shy!" She said to me with a smile in her voice, and she then hung up. I looked up at Dash, and nodded.

"Sweet! Now hop on, before the bus driver runs us over," She said jokingly. I pulled on the helmet, and carefully got on and wrapped my arms around her waist like before and leaned myself forward onto her back to get into a more comfortable position. The motorcycle started up, and soon we were off.

Rainbow Dash's POV

It wasn't long before we made it to my house, and Fluttershy seemed shocked to say the least. Then again, no one would really believe me if I told them that I had the whole mansion to myself for the majority of the day. Most of the week, I'm home alone either practicing guitar, reading comic books, or doing homework that's due the following day in a rush. Scootaloo was often with her girlfriend in Sweet Apple Acres, so I knew I didn't have much to worry about since they would all hang out at their tree house with Sweetie Belle and Button Mash.

"N-Nice house... It's as big as Soarin's place," Fluttershy muttered out in amazement. I smirked to myself, and we both walked towards the front door to my home. After unlocking it, I held the door open for her - my manners kicked in, shut up - and soon began to give her a small tour around the house, but avoiding the third floor at all costs. My so-called father, never liked having people up there in his quarters.

"Thanks, Shy... Hey, do you want anything to drink? I have some cans of soda, energy drinks, bottled water, chocolate milk..." We both made our way towards the kitchen, and I had to admit, the kitchen was my second favorite part of my home. The kitchen was practically like a small bar, yet it had a retro look to it.

Checkered black and white tiles filled the room, and was complete with those wooden red stools you'd often see in 70's or 80's movies. Behind the large granite countertop, was a collection of beer and wine that all belonged to my father. Several clean shot glasses were stacked on top of one another on the counter top along with a pair of two wine glasses.

On the far right of the bar, was my number one favorite thing in the house: the refrigerator. Home to several amazing frozen pizza, ice cream, food, and ice cold drinks. I looked over at Fluttershy, who had already taken a seat on one of the stools, and said that a water would be nice.

I nodded at her request, then immediately opened up the fridge and pulled out an unopened water bottle and a Red Bull from the small shelf at the doors of the fridge. I closed it with my foot then proceeded to walk over and give the water to Fluttershy. She silently thanked me, and I simply took a seat beside her and began to pour the small can of blueberry Red Bull into a shot glass and chugged it down as if it was real alcohol. Fluttershy giggled at my action.

"Having fun?"

"Absolutely," I replied to her with a shy grin. We both chuckled for a few seconds before it went relatively silent once more. I cleared my throat, "Well, everyone should be getting here in like an hour or so... Feel like watching a Disney movie or something?"

Fluttershy looked over at me, then nodded. "I'd love to. What movies do you have?"

"Uh... I have Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Toy Story, Shrek, Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Monsters Inc...." My voice faded away when Fluttershy began to giggle. "What?"

"Shrek isn't a Disney movie, Dashie." A light blush painted my cheeks at that realization, and at the nickname.

"Oh, whatever," I pretended to be offended, but soon broke down laughing with her instead. "Okay, okay... What movie would you like to watch with me?"

"Hmm... I guess I'll have to say... Beauty and the Beast." I mentally groaned. I have seen that movie way too many times as a kid, and as a teenager. The lines are pretty much etched into my mind, but I had to admit... I'm sure this movie will be way better watching it with Fluttershy than with anyone else.

"All right, cool. Can you make some popcorn? I'll go set up the movie." Fluttershy nodded and stood up from her seat as I showed her where the microwave was at and where the popcorn was. I handed her a large plastic bowl to put the popcorn in, then ran to the living room.

I turned on the TV, and switched the input menu and turned on the DVD player. I practically face palmed when I realized that the movie disc was inside. I really need to remind myself to tell Scootaloo to hide the movie for me...

After setting the movie up, the main menu of the movie popped up, and I threw the remote onto the couch. Afterwards, I went back into the kitchen and found my nose being greeted by the strong scent of buttery popcorn. When I looked up to see Fluttershy, she was already pouring the contents of the food into the bowl.

"I can't wait to stuff my face with that food," I said to her, and walked back to the bar to retrieve our drinks. Fluttershy smiled sheepishly, and soon we were off to the living room. I plopped myself down on the sofa and the girl sat down beside me with the bowl of popcorn in between us. I handed her the water, and soon I pressed play on the main menu.

Needless to say, Fluttershy cried through most of the dramatic scenes and I couldn't blame the poor girl. I was in her shoes as well but this time, I was determined not to shed a tear even though my eyes were getting pretty damn watery, and I only had the film to blame. It was already seven forty-nine, and still I got no text message or call from any of the girls. Perhaps they got busy with something. Oh well, I'm not complaining! In fact, I'm enjoying every second I'm spending with this girl.

"Oh, oh! Can we watch The Nightmare Before Christmas?" Fluttershy seemed to get overexcited until she saw the shocked look on my face. She immediately shrunk back down to her usual self, "Um... If you want."

"Heh... I don't mind. I don't think the others are going to show up. Maybe later on in the week they can... But yes, we can watch the movie, to answer your question." Fluttershy squeaked in happiness, and even jumped a little in her seat. I wanted to burst into a smiling fit, because honestly, she was starting to get even more adorable by each passing minute. "Do you want more popcorn?"

"No, it's fine, thank you." I nodded, then switched inputs once more to get on Netflix. Thankfully, they had the movie on there. After a few minutes of buffering, the film began to play on the screen of my television and Fluttershy practically squealed.

"I'm guessing you like this movie a lot?"

"Like it? I LOVE it! I would watch this movie all the time as a little girl with my brother and my mom. It was like a little family tradition sort of thing. We always watched this every year, and it's always brought a smile to my face no matter what."

"My childhood movie was actually Toy Story, believe it or not... Despite the fact that I love the movie, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story was my all time favorite movie to watch with Scootaloo... It's really nice being able to watch these movies with my friends and family," I confessed to her. I never really got into this topic with anyone before, except for Soarin' - but that was because he was my very first best friend.

"That's really nice... If I could, I would have a movie marathon with you," Fluttershy said. When I looked at her, her face flushed red and she quickly looked the opposite direction. A small laugh escaped my lips, and I tapped her shoulder, capturing her attention almost immediately.

Using my best impersonation of a professional fighter pilot, I said, "The movie is about to start, I repeat, the movie is about to start, thank you." We both giggled to ourselves then soon decided that we both wanted popcorn again.

"I'll make it this time. You can get the drinks." We both hopped off the couch and practically raced to the kitchen and got a tie, which was pretty surprising.

I pried open the plastic wrap around the weird pack of kernels, and immediately put it inside the microwave. I wasn't exactly sure what time to put the popcorn, so I set it for four minutes. Well... Let's just say that the popcorn burned to a crisp and the fire alarm went off.

Fluttershy threw one of the burnt popcorn pieces at me in a joking way, and soon, we were both throwing them at each other and even collapsing to the floor in an attempt in not to get hit. I was starting to see her playful side and let me tell you... It was pretty competitive.

And honestly... I loved it.

"Okay, okay! I surrender!" Fluttershy cried out jokingly, and began laughing as she stood up, brushing some flakes of popcorn off her shirt. We were both out of breath, and I jumped up in victory and shouted "YES!" whilst throwing my fist up in the air.

"Rainbow Dash, ALWAYS wins!"

"I was taking it easy on you, Dashie. Don't get your hopes up," Fluttershy said with a smirk. I smiled nervously. I was really taking a strong liking to this side. We both spent the next fifteen minutes sweeping, and making another bowl of popcorn since I burned it and basically turned it into a death match in the kitchen.

Once the popcorn was ready to eat, I poured it into the bowl again, and Fluttershy generously grabbed another two drinks: two sodas of ice cold root beer. After getting settled onto the couch again, I noticed Fluttershy tapping away at her phone with a small smile. When she finished, I looked over at her curiously, and she soon got the message.

"Oh, don't worry it was just my mom asking what we were doing. I told her that your band didn't come, so you and I started watching movies instead." I smiled goofily, then started up the movie a second later.

**CUE THE MUSIC NOW, PEOPLE!!!!!***

A little more than halfway through the movie, Fluttershy and I were getting sleepy already, but I honestly didn't want to move at all. Especially since Fluttershy had slowly but surely started to lean against me. Now, her head was on my shoulder, and I could honestly say that the butterflies were much worse than ever before.

I wanted to desperately put my arm around her, but at the same time I didn't in fear of rejection. What if I put my arm around her and she freaked out? What if I scare her away? What would she think of me after? Would she be mad? Upset? Confused? Agh! These thoughts were sure to drive my insane one day.

I bit my lower lip anxiously, and noticed that she was leaning towards me a bit more, so I scooted closer to her on instinct. Crap. What if I woke her up?

Nope. The exact opposite. Instead of waking up, she practically wrapped both of her arms around my right arm and damn... My feelings towards her were bouncing right off the walls. I decided to take a risk, and slid my arm out of her grasp, and instead draped it around her, pulling her slightly closer to me, causing her to instantly curl up under my arm. Shit...

I can't just wake the girl up. She looks so damn peaceful. Without thinking much of it, I started running my fingers through her soft pastel pink hair, and twirled the strands around my fingers lightly - careful enough to not wake her up from her slumber.

Ah, but eventually I'll have to wake her up so I can take her home safely. So her mom won't be mad at me or at her for staying so late. Maybe I can carry her to my car when the movie is over? Well, damn it, Rainbow Dash!

You've got an adorable girl under your arm. In addition to that, she's asleep, and you don't want to wake her up. Crap... Maybe I can just -

"Hm... Dashie?" Fluttershy stretched, and surprisingly returned her position on me. "What time is it...?" Her voice was slightly raspy, and I couldn't but smile at that. I pulled out my phone and saw that it was exactly nine twenty. Fluttershy didn't seem at all that fazed by the time, and said that I could drop her off in about ten minutes - just as long as she was home before ten or else her mom will start to worry.

"You got it." Fluttershy breathed out quietly, and I felt her breath shake up a little. "Hey... You okay?"

"Hm?" She looked up slowly, and soon her magnificent teal eyes locked with mine. She opened her mouth to speak, but all that came out was a nervous squeak. A strong crimson blush was painted onto her face, and I pretty much felt my own face heat up as my awkwardness was quickly coming in. "I-I'm f-fine...?"

It came out more as a question, but soon my own, long desired thoughts came kicking in with full force. Without thinking much, without giving her a warning, I pressed my lips against hers.

For a few seconds, there was no reaction and I was petrified that I went in for the kill way too fast. Before, I could pull away from my embarrassment, I felt Shy's lips move along in sync with mine. Holy crap... She's actually kissing me back?

Her lips were extremely soft, and moved along with my pace well. My heart was jack hammering against my chest non-stop. Words couldn't describe how I was feeling... Maybe I'm just on Cloud 9 right now. Perhaps this is just another dream... Please don't wake up, if this is a dream. Please don't let this be a dream. Let this be reality.

I felt Fluttershy's hand rest on my cheek, and I felt her pulling me in a little closer, and soon we pried apart slowly, looking at each other in the eye, blushing like mad.

In a small whisper, she said, "I like you too."
