(Dimitry's view)

 I got up from the couch as Regulus and Luci made their way into the living room walking over to them before closing the distance between myself and hugging her as tears rolled down my cheeks.

 "Hey sweetheart, welcome home." I said, pressing a kiss to her forehead.

 'Dimitry!' Luci's mental voice cried as she tightened the hug slightly burying her face into my shoulder making me chuckle sadly.

 'I missed you kiddo.' I replied ruffling her hair with my hand.

 'I missed you too, god I've missed you so much.' Luci's mental voice said as she looked up at me with a small smile.  

'I hated being in there, but it wasn't that bad, especially with dad coming to visit.' Luci said as she squeezed my hand before letting go with another small smile.

 'I love you' I told her before bringing a hand up to pat the top of her head. 'I love you too.' Luci replied as she kissed me on the cheek.

 'I made butter pasta if you're hungry.' I said before giving her a soft pat on the cheek. 

'Yum! I love butter pasta!' Luci said with a grin as she gripped my hand softly. 

'I got the bracelet you sent me.' she said holding out her wrist with a small smile which made me chuckle slightly.

 'Which family crest is this?' she asked pointing to the family crest which brought a small smile to my face. 

'That my love is the Turgenev family crest.' I said my fingers brushing over it quickly as old memories of my girlfriend long ago flashed before my eyes causing me to drop my hand with a small gasp as my heartbeat increased ever so slightly as my breathing became shallow.

 'River..' I thought before holding out my hand to my goddaughter.

 'I would like to look a that for a moment, dear.' I said to which she nodded before passing me the bracelet.

 I carefully ran a finger over the cold metal of the crest before handing it back to my goddaughter. 

'Sorry about that dear, just seeing this crest again brought old memories back for me.' I said with a sad smile.

 'what were they of?' Luci asked as she wrapped her arm around my shoulders comfortingly. 'they were of my girlfriend, love.' I said instinctively hugging her a bit closer as we sat on the couch together.
