(Dimitry's view)

I laid in bed coughing as my choppy breathing continued when the door opened and in dashed Regulus with a triumphant smirk on his face.

 'What's with the creepy smile?' I rasped sitting up with great pain as I did. 

"I've come up with a plan to save you and Luci both." he said as he kissed my burning forehead before looking at me. 

"And what is that?" I asked looking up at him with a raised eyebrow. 

"I'll show you." he said before pulling out something from behind his back and passed it to me.

 "Why am I holding a book and a dagger?" I asked in confusion looking up at him for an explanation. 

"Because the book turns into something else. and so does the dagger." Regulus said and I facepalmed. 

"Regulus, love, it's a book and a dagger it's not going to-"  I began then cut off as the book and dagger combined then a large crystal like case appeared and Regulus smiled at me.

 "I don't know how you're going to catch those death eaters with this thing." I said which caused his smile to drop instantly.

 "Dim, it's got to work, it just has to! I've already lost my wife, I-I don't want to loose you and Luci too." he whispered as tears fell down his face as he sobbed into my shoulder. 

"You'll never loose me Reg, I promise." I said as i stroked his back in attempt to calm him. 

"But if they get to you, I-I'll..." he began then cut off as I kissed the top of his head. 

"Regulus, calm down please." I rasped before patting his shoulder lightly. 

"You don't need to worry about me, okay? now please go get some rest." I said giving him a weak smile.

 "Dim..." he began as he looked at me with a small smile. 

"Nothing's gonna hurt you while I'm around, I promise." he said which made me smile. 

"Thanks Reg." I rasped before a wave of nausea hit me and I puked into the bowl while Regulus held my hair back. 

"Why are you willing to risk your life for me?" I asked as I looked up at him quietly to which he smiled as he held my hand. 

"I love you." he said as tears built up in both of our eyes.

 "I love you too." I responded before my eyes closed and I soon drifted off to sleep.
