(Luci's view)

I lay in my bed which was very comfortable but the pillows were somewhat too high for my neck but I had adjusted them so that my neck didn't hurt as much.

"I wonder if the potion will work." I thought turning the page in my book when suddenly a loud yawn escaped my lips and flopped back too tired to keep reading the book falling from my hand as I lay back against the pillows with my hand on my forehead as I listened to the owls outside the window as my eyes closed and I fell asleep with the window left open a crack.

I awoke in the middle of what appeared to be a cemetery with massive stone pillars which loomed overhead making me gulp as I continued to walk along the row of grave stones until I came to a halt in front of one with my mother's name on it.

standing beside it was the ghost of a woman with the same black hair as mine but her eyes were gray-blue like ice water and she smiled at me softly as she stepped forward then touched a hand to my face, there was no mistaking it it was my mother.

"Mum?" I whispered in shock to which she nodded sadly before pointing at a grave a few feet away on which the letters of my godfather's name were starting to form.

"You have to save him." was all she said before leaning in to press a kiss to my forehead then disappearing as my father's ghost now stood before me.

"Time is of the essence my dear." it said before vanishing in a green light. 

I jumped out of bed with a loud scream before throwing the door open and running up the stairs to my father's room and shaking him rapidly to wake him. 

"Father, please, wake up I had a nightmare." I said and he opened his sleepy eyes before pulling me into his arms and humming to me softly as he stroked my hair.

 "What was it about mon amour?" he asked as I snuggled closer burying my head into his chest as he stroked my curls while singing to me softly.

"Can I tell you in the morning?" I asked and he nodded before leaning in to press a kiss to my forehead.

 "Of course, goodnight love." he said after releasing the hug as I turned in the doorway to smile at him briefly. 

"I love you dad." I said with a smile which he returned with one of his own before he walked over to where I was and kissed my cheek. 

"I love you too, my little star." he said with a warm smile at me before getting back into his bed and falling asleep. "See you in the morning." I whispered closing the door quietly behind me.
