Light streamed down onto the platform of 9 and three quarters and a buzz and flurry of excitement as families rushed to maintain sanity and send there children both young and old off to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Students wearing a variety of colors of there respective school houses bustled to grab luggage, animal familiars, and all manner of wizarding accessories just to get on board.

Standing amid the chaos, a lean black haired man smiled down upon his young black haired daughter silently watching as she packed the last of her items into a brown leather satchel.

It had been almost two years since Luci had been a first year at Hogwarts and he was beyond proud of her she had made many friends and wrote to them constantly which made him happy.

She was much like her mother, easy to laugh, smart, always willing to find the good in people.

"Dad?" Luci asked bringing him out of his thoughts as she looked up at he with a small smile.

"Yes dearest?" he asked, as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

"I'm nervous about going back." she said as she looked up at me before nervously glancing around.

"Why are you nervous?" he asked with concern as I looked her in the eye.

"I'm just worried that people will treat me weirdly." she said, and he cupped her face with his hand.

"Luciana Auctavia Black, you have no reason to be nervous about something like that and I promise you that if it does happen we'll try to work things out." he said before kissing her on the head.

"I hope so," she said as she glanced around nervously again before looking at him.

"Keep an eye on Uncle Dimitry will you? he hasn't been doing all that well." she said, and his eyebrows furrowed in concern.

"What do you mean?" he asked as he looked at his daughter with growing concern.

"He's been having coughing fits and a bad fever, I think something's wrong." she said, before giving her father a quick hug and waving goodbye as she hurried toward the train where her friends stood waiting.

"Bye dad!" she called as she boarded the train with her friends.

"Goodbye, Luci!" her father called as he waived until the train had vanished from sight.
