The first fight *part 2*

I zipped my bag up and picked it up before opening the bedroom door and walking out. Luke looked at me and his eyes widened as he saw my bag.

"Babe, where are you going?" he asked as he shot up.

"I don't know, all I know is that I don't want to be with you right now." I mumbled as I opened the door.

"No, please, I'm sorry-."

"I don't want to hear it, Luke. We're having a baby, a baby who is going to be a unique person and you want to put them up for adoption, you don't want them in our lives." I choked. He looked at me with heartbroken eyes. I scoffed and shook my head before shutting the door.

I sat on Calum's sofa, fiddling with my hands.

"Here you go." I looked up and gave Calum a small smile as he handed me the mug of coffee.

"Thanks." I mumbled as I took a sip.

"So, what's going on?" he asked, sitting opposite me on his coffee table. I looked at him.

"I'm pregnant." I spoke.

"Aww, that's so nice, congratulations." He smiled.

"Thanks, but...Luke doesn't want it." I admitted. Calum's eyes widened.

"Why not?" he scoffed.

"He thinks that we're too young. He wants to put the baby for adoption and so I just needed to get out." I said.

"That's understandable." He nodded before the doorbell rang.

"I need to get that." He spoke, standing up. I nodded. He returned it before leaving for a moment.

"Y/N." I looked up and sighed as Calum walked back in with Luke.

"Hey." Luke gave me a small smile. I looked down.

"I'll give you guys a minute alone." Calum spoke.

"Thanks, mate." Luke nodded as Calum left. Luke sighed as he sat on the coffee table so that he was sat opposite me. He tried to catch my gaze, but I kept my eyes down.

"First thing, I'm sorry. I really am, I shouldn't have freaked out on you like that. I know that it took both of us to get you pregnant, so I had no right blaming you." He spoke gently. I continued to look down. He sighed.

"I want this baby, okay?" he asked. I looked at him.

"What?" I choked.

"I called Ben to tell him what had happened. He told me that having kids changed his life for the better. He can't imagine his life now without my niece and nephew, but he doesn't want to. Fair enough we're both still young, but I want to know that feeling. I want to be able to look back in five years and not be able to remember what life was like without a little Hemmings running around the house." He chuckled. I gave him a small smile.

"So, yeah. I'm so sorry about what happened, and I don't care how young we are, we can do this." He nodded, looking at me. I smiled.

"Am I forgiven?" he asked sheepishly. I looked at him.

"You're an asshole, Lucas Robert." I chuckled before taking his face and kissing him.

"I know, baby, I know." He smiled against my lips.

I opened my eyes and hissed as I sat up. I looked down and my eyes widened as blood was on the sheets.

"Luke." I choked, shaking his shoulder.

"Hmm." He mumbled, his eyes still closed.

"Luke, please." I whispered. He opened his eyes and his eyebrows furrowed as he saw me crying.

"What's up, babe?" he asked as he sat up. I looked down at the blood. He followed my gaze and his eyes widened.

"Oh shit." He mumbled before standing up and pulling a top over his head and pulling jeans on.

"Babe, are you okay to move?" he asked as he rushed to my side and knelt down in front of me.

"It hurts." I choked, holding my small bump.

"I know, baby girl, but we need to get to the hospital to see what's happening, okay?" he asked.

"Luke, I can't move, it hurts!" I cried. He sighed and nodded.

"Okay." He spoke before rushing out of the room. I sat there, tears rolling down my face. Luke rushed back in, shoving his phone and wallet into his pockets.

"Babe, I'm going to lift you up, okay? Try not to move." He nodded. I returned it before putting an arm around his shoulder. He put one arm under my legs and the other behind my back before lifting me up. He carried me out of the house and into the car before climbing into the other side.

Luke clutched my hand as he sat in the chair next to the hospital bed that I was lying in. The doctor walked in and Luke shot up.

"What's happening to our baby?" he asked. The doctor sighed and looked down.

"I'm so sorry, Mr Hemmings and Miss Y/L/N. I'm afraid that you lost the baby." He admitted quietly. More tears ran down my face as Luke looked at me, his eyes full of heartbreak and sadness.

"I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll leave you alone to process." He nodded before leaving. Luke just stood there, staring at the door. I held my head in my hands, looking down at the sheets.

"I'm sorry." I choked. Luke looked at me.

"No. Don't think for a second that this is your fault." He spoke, rushing to my side and sitting next to me on the bed.

"But it is. I'm the one who was meant to keep them safe, and I couldn't even do that-."

"Hey, hey." Luke spoke, taking my face.

"This is not your fault, okay? Yes, I'm upset that this has happened, we've just lost a child, but you lost the child that you've been carrying for months. I don't blame you for that." He reassured. I nodded and let more tears fall as I wrapped my arms around his neck, prompting him to return the hug.
