The first fight *part 1*
"What about your first big fight? What brought it on?" Alexa asked. I sighed and looked down.
"Now that's a story and a half." I chuckled slightly.
"We were a year into the relationship, and I found out that I was pregnant." I mumbled, making Alexa's eyes widen and the audience gasp.
"How come it was never in the tabloids?" she asked. I kept my gaze on my hands.
I opened my eyes slowly and sat up, holding my stomach. I breathed in and out, not being able to shake the feeling of nausea. I looked over my shoulder and frowned as Luke's side of the bed was empty. I got up and started to walk along into the apartment. I smiled slightly as he sat on the sofa, gently humming along with playing the guitar that sat on his lap.
"Morning, babe." He smiled as I stood in front of him.
"Morning, can you please take me to the hospital?" I asked. He froze and looked at me.
"Are you okay?" he asked, looking at me with concerned eyes.
"Yeah, I just feel really sick and I have for the past few weeks. I don't know, it's probably nothing but I'd rather be safe than sorry." I shrugged. He nodded as he put the guitar down and stood up.
"Of course. Go get dressed, I'll be in the car." He spoke, pecking my forehead before grabbing his keys.
Luke and I sat in the waiting room. Luke nervously tapped his foot against the floor.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked. He looked at me.
"I just can't bear the thought of something being wrong with you. What if you're sick?" he asked worriedly.
"I'm fine. It'll just be a bug or something." I shrugged as a nurse walked in.
"Miss Y/L/N?" he asked. I nodded as Luke and I stood up and followed him. He led us into a room.
"The doctor will be with you in a moment." He nodded before leaving the room. We sat down as the doctor walked in.
"Hello Miss Y/L/N, what's the issue?" she asked as she sat down.
"I've been really sick the past few weeks and I'm starting to get worried that it's not passing." I sighed. She looked at me.
"Have you had weird food cravings?" she asked.
"I'd say so." I nodded.
"Sensitive chest?" he asked.
"Yes." Luke chuckled. I looked at him.
"Sorry, it's just, you've not let me sleep on your boobs recently...never mind." He shook his head. I sighed before looking back at the doctor.
"Okay. Well we'll run a few tests and get to the bottom of what's wrong." She nodded before standing back up and leaving the room.
"Okay, we have your results." The doctor spoke as she walked back in and sat down. Luke and I looked at each other.
"What's wrong with her?" Luke asked quietly. The doctor smiled.
"Congratulations, Miss, Y/L/N, you're pregnant." She smiled. Our eyes widened.
"I'm what?" I scoffed.
"You're two and a half months along. Congratulations, you're going to be parents." She nodded. I looked at Luke to see his eyes wide.
"I'll leave you two alone to process this news." She smiled before leaving the room. I gulped, my heart pounding through my chest at what we'd just been told. We sat in silence for what felt like a lifetime.
"Come on." Luke suddenly mumbled, getting up and putting his jacket on.
"What?" I asked as I stood up.
"I'm not having this fight in a hospital, so we're going home." He muttered. I gulped as I stood up and followed him out.
I fiddled nervously with my hands as we walked into the apartment. I jumped as Luke slammed the door.
"Jesus, Luke, I get that you're pissed off, but the neighbours don't need to know too." I spoke. He held his hands behind his head as he looked at me.
"Are you on birth control?" he asked.
"No." I scoffed. He nodded.
"And that'll be how this happened." He spoke.
"Luke, are you seriously blaming this on me?" I scoffed.
"I'm just saying, I didn't wear a condom the last time we had sex because I thought that you were on birth control." He shrugged. I shook my head.
"I've never been on birth control." I spoke. He sighed and rubbed his hands over his face.
"What are we going to do?" he mumbled. I looked at him.
"Keep it obviously." I scoffed. Luke looked at me.
"Babe, we're only twenty-three. That's way too young to start a family, not to mention the fact that I'm away touring a lot of the time." He said.
"Well, I'm not getting rid of this baby, Luke." I spoke. He sighed and shook his head.
"I just...I don't even know, Y/N. We're too young for a baby, we have no clue what we're doing, could we not just get rid of it? Put it up for adoption?" he asked, looking at me. I choked.
"Fuck you, Luke." I scoffed before rushing into the bedroom. I heard him sigh before I slammed the door.
