"I remember one time, it was quite scary actually." I nodded.

"What happened?" she asked.

"Well, I was leaving the bar after my shift." I started.

"I'll see you later, Y/N." Luke smiled as he stood up from the bar.

"See you tomorrow, Luke." I smiled. He waved at me before he left the bar. I grabbed my bag before walking out of the door. I locked the bar door before starting to walk. I blew on my hands, trying to get warm. I passed an alley, and suddenly I was grabbed. I screamed as I was slammed against the alley wall.

"Give me your purse and your phone. Now." The man spat.

"No, let me go!" I screamed.

"Shut the fuck up." He snapped, putting a hand against my neck and cutting off my air supply.

"Help!" I tried to scream.

"Shut the fuck up, you-." suddenly, the man was ripped off of me and I fell to the ground as I coughed and spluttered.

"Do you think that it's cool to pick on a young woman?" Luke spat at the man before sending a punch to his face.

"If I see you near her again, I'll beat you to a fucking pulp." He spat before shoving the man out of the alley. He rushed to me and knelt down beside me.

"Jesus, Y/N, are you okay?" he asked, looking at me.

"Thank you." I choked as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"It's okay, don't worry about it." He spoke, returning the hug.

"Come on, let's go back to the bar and get some ice for your neck." He said, helping me up. I nodded as I held onto him.

"Here we are." He spoke, walking back to the bar with a bag full of ice as I sat on the counter.

"May I?" he asked, gesturing to my neck. I nodded, gulping as I followed his movements with my eyes. He gave me a small smile before gently tilting my neck with his hand and resting the ice pack against my bruising skin. I winced slightly at the coolness.

"You okay?" he asked quietly.

"Thanks to you I am." I smiled slightly. He returned it and bit his lip.

"I couldn't let such a beautiful girl get mugged." He chuckled. I smiled and looked down.

"But seriously, thank you. I think that you may have saved my life, I couldn't breathe." I mumbled. He gave me a small smile.

"You're okay. You're okay." He nodded.

"He saved you from a mugging?" Alexa scoffed. I nodded.

"He saved my life. I don't doubt that the guy would have killed me if he wasn't there, I owed him my life." I nodded.

"Wow. Your husband was a hero to you." She smiled.

"Definitely." I returned it.

"What happened after that?" she asked.

"So, he came back into the bar every night to see me." I chuckled, earning a smile from Alexa.

"Then, after a month, he finally asked me out on a date." I smiled at the memory.
