Timber's POV

I sat on the couch and cuddled Shade closer. She fell asleep on me so I put a blanket over us. Pretty soon I fell asleep too.

--time skipy--

I was jerked out of my dreams by a sudden yelp. I looked down and saw Shade looking at me with a bright red face and confusion mixed there too.

"Well good morning to you too." I said as she carfully got off me and walked to the kitchen. I watched and then started folding the blanket as she started pancakes. I put the blanket away and then snuck up behind her as she was watching it.

I got really close to her ear and whispered, "watcha doin?" She went tense and froze up before stuttering.

"W-w-what was that for?!?" It. Was. Adorable. I turned her around and hugged her before running to my room and locking the door.

Why did u do that omg I'm stupid. I heard footsteps and then sliding before a plate went under the door. It was a red pancake in the shape of a heart. Now that's classic. I ate then grabbed the keys. She got up and went to the passengers side.

"Are we taking an airplane?" She asked I nodded. Her face automatically went panic. She slid in and pulled out her fidget cube. I smirked. After about 10 minutes we go there, checked in, and boarded the plain.

As it started lifting off she grabbed my hand and squeezed it like her life depended on it. I interlaced our fingers and she relaxed, but her eyes were still shut. After we were in the air she was looking away from me out the window and ignoring me, our fingers still interlaced.

A waitress saw and smiled at me. She handed me two drinks. "On the house ladies." She said before walking over to another waitress and holding hands. I just accepted the drinks and handed one two Shade.

She grabbed it and as she did I saw her face. It was redder than a tomato. Now that is cute. After about an hour, we fell asleep with my head on her shoulder.
