" Hang on what?! You forgot the snack bag?!", Tim said. Sammy nervously answered " Yeah, I forgot the bag. But hey! We all make mistakes." Tim replied with a smile, " Yeah, I guess we do. Let's start walking back to the house for lunch." Sammy nodded in agreement.

After walking for about five minutes, Tim and Sammy heard a twig break. And they knew it wasn't from them. Then soon after they heard a low growl. Now they were really scared. The two stood back to back because they didn't know which way the sounds had come from. Then Tim saw a wolf poke it's head out of the bush a few feet in front of him.

Tim started to whisper to Sammy " Sammy...Sammy...Sammy!" Finally Sammy turned around and said " What... Oh crap!" Sammy suddenly realized why Tim was trying to get his attention. Sammy whispered to Tim " Ok stay calm, start to slowly back away, and then when we're far enough from him...run." Tim nodded.

Tim and Sammy started to slowly back away, being careful not to intimidate the wolf, or fall down. Then when they thought they were far enough they started to run. Unfortunately the wolf started following behind. Tim didn't know he would last. The wolf was gaining and with each step of the run he took, felt like he would fall to the ground. He wasn't used to running with his legs yet, then he had a brave idea.

He started running faster towards a tree. As soon as the wolf was close enough to him, and he was close enough to the tree, Tim took a step on the tree, and started running up it. Shortly he jumped off flipping backwards, and landing straight on the wolf's face and snout, hearing it crush under his feet as he landed.

The wolf was down and whimpering, as Tim slowed down so Sammy could keep up with him. Tim was amazed with himself. He could barely run a second ago and then he just ran and did a backflip off a tree! Sammy was amazed too. The two ran all the way back to the house happy to be home, and happy to be safe.
