*Prologue 3*
The harsh wind blew and the sky crackled with rain pouring down to the people's feet. The feeling of loneliness enveloped the area, as the coldness continued to spread.
Somewhere in the streets of the city, a young man wearing black is running in this kind of weather, pushing citizens that were in his way, not even bother to apologize. He panted in each quick stops that he can make, eyeing at his destination.
The unknown man pulled out a written piece of paper and looked at the building's address, to ensure if the place he is told to go is correct.
He slowly entered the building after moments he arrived, and met with welcoming greetings from employees. The first floor that he's at appears to be like a fancy lobby of an expensive hotel. Conversations and laughter from rich ones were mixed into one sound, which he payed no attention to.
He spotted the elevators and entered into one of them. There were 103 floors to choose and pressed the button for the highest level.
Two others were riding in the elevator with him. One got out when it reached to floor 43 and the other left when it reached to floor 97, to the man's relief.
Just before the doors would open for the highest floor, the man pressed the emergency stop button. The sudden stop and the alarm that would notify the staff department made the stranger to do his act immediately.
He quickly lifted his watch. "98 seconds."
His mechanic watch held out a hidden knife and used it to cut open one part of the elevator's ceiling and climbed up to the top.
The brown-haired man put back the piece of the ceiling, making it look like nothing happened or no one was present during the elevator's sudden stop. He looked up and found an open air vent nearby. The male bent down, pulled out a small flashlight from his pocket and pointed it to the air vent. Seeing that there wasn't anything blocking, he put away his flashlight and put on a small earpiece before crawling inside.
The small airway was long with different paths to choose from. The man pulled out a small device and turned it on, revealing a green dot that's not too far from where he's at.
He saw a small opening and peeked through it, only seeing one of the hallways that the top floor consists. The stranger continued crawling silently, not wanting to bring any suspicions or attention.
He looked through a few more openings until he found the one that he's been looking for.
Through the holes, he saw a dim-lighted room with red walls where there's a dark-haired man, wearing formal clothes, looking at his glass window that reveal the high view of the city.
The man who's safety hidden in the air vent, turned on his earpiece and whispered.
"Target spotted."
