Junkyard Jail

«Above is Kara's Outfit»

"Go again Kara!" Casiel laughed, launching a rusty, junkyard car into the air with a flick of her wrist. Kara, transformed as an abnormally large bear, slams the car into the ground. Clapping erupts from the group followed by laughter.

Rachel swings a piece of metal, shattering the trunk, Luke flames and burns the metal. Morgan kicks the windshield in with an iron boot attached to her foot, Casiel flicks her wrist once more and the tires detach, rolling away into the darkness.

"We are such chaotic creatures" Luke called over the noise, his attention turning to the rusty car beside him. Red hot flames consume his body and he begins to burn it.

"Well, that's why we're friends, ain't it?" Rachel responds, picking up a metal beam and tossing it loudly. Casiel watches with an unfazed expression as it lands millimetres from her left leg. "Sorry Cas!"

"It's alright, don't stress" She laughed, levitating the beam with her left arm and moving it further away.

Car after car, machinery and other scrap metal was flamed, bent, thrown, warped.

The destruction continued for hours, everyone venting frustrations in their lives on wasted automobiles, left to erode in the junkyard. Kara had transfigured into Loki, her Father, and paraded around, speaking dialogue she had picked up from around her household. The group laughed, each of them commenting and joking.

The group had focused attention on an abandoned bus, sitting within torn leather seats, chatting about their classes and teachers, before Casiel's head shot up from her usually calm demeanour.

"Cas? What's wrong?"

"There are others here"

"Like who?" Kara hastily transfigured to her normal form, previously a Doberman, shimmering green light fading.

"I can hear them too" Luke swung his head around.

The group had been taught never to use their abilities in the presence of a mortal unless they were a trusted ally or a dangerous foe. Unsure of whether the beings were mortal or not, the group had to be as calm and as human as possible.

"Who goes there!" Rachel called. All remaining four friends turned to stare at her.

"Really dude-" Luke frowned.

"Not your best form" Casiel agreed.

Flashlights shone in their eyes, causing them all to squint. "Remain where you are kids. I'm Sargent Latrad, this is Officer Blaine. You're under arrest for trespassing" the deep voice spoke. The flashlights tilted down, revealing a frowning Sargent. "I've met these kids" the disappointed voice came, speaking to his partner.

"Dammit dammit dammit! Sh!t!" Luke hissed, shoved beside Casiel in a police car.

"Remain calm-"

"We can get out of this Cas!"

"We cannot use our powers. We did something against the law, we receive the consequences. Also, our parents would kill us if they found out-" Casiel whispers calmly.

"I didn't expect you to be the fear-driven type, Cas. I thought you used to be a soldier" Luke murmured bitterly, resting his head on the window. Casiel rolled her eyes, staring ahead as one Officer began the vehicle, turning out of the junkyard, followed by another car with Rachel, Kara and Morgan.

Luke was physically distressed. He knew he could escape but here he was, not allowed to utilise his gifts.

Casiel noticed his distress and glanced calmly, settling him. A short period of silence and the car stopped outside of a station, standing proudly. A statue of a women holding balance scales was visible.

"Showtime" Casiel muttered, stepping out of the car in cuffs, followed by Luke. They were escorted up to the station where they were all placed in a holding cell, quietly glancing at each other.

"Your parents will be contacted, again." Sargent spoke. Casiel cringed visibly.

"So you do remember us-"

"Yes, Cassie. Be patient, this could take a while as you kids know, so get comfy" he frowned.

"How'd we get caught again-" Rachel murmured grumpily. "Why can't we just use them, Cas?"

"Morality, Rachel" Was all Casiel responded, resting her head on the filthy concrete wall behind her.

"Morality?!" Morgan grumbled, standing up. "Cas, we're not normal-"

"We're also not above the law."

"But we can be." Everyone knew that smirk from Kara anywhere.

"Kara" Casiel sighed.

"Go on angel" Kara encouraged, "your Dad won't even need to know you're here."

Casiel considers it as she rises slowly, the cuffs on each person dropping with a metallic thud. "Stark, start tapping the systems." Morgan speaks softly through her glasses, instructing Friday, the AI. The wifi falters, the lights flicker, doors unlock, exclamations of annoyance and anxiety can be heard. "I need a loud noise Stark."

"I know just the thing" Stark smirks. A loud bang can be heard, Casiel breaks the lock off at the same time before swinging around.

"Everyone go" Kara leads the charge out of the cell.

"What did you blow up?" Casiel whispered loudly as they ran through the main reception. A printer sat, engulfed in flames. "Stark!"

"They can put it out I'm sure" Morgan snickered, running out the front door. She stumbles while looking back, crashing into Luke. "Dude, you gotta mo-" Morgan fell instantly silent, staring forward in shell shock.

Loki Laufeyson, Bucky Barnes, Pepper and Tony Stark, Bruce Banner and Steve Rogers.

"You kids are in so much trouble."
