39. OMANOUSIUS?
The Dark Prince groaned as he felt someone nudge him awake. He pulled the ball of warm pillow near him and cuddled on, tuning out the voice that was calling his name. He felt something wriggle out... The pillow was trying to wriggle out? Mr.Mon's hand landed on his cheeks with an amount of force that he doubted a monkey could have. He rubbed his cheeks, looking at the little monkey grudgingly whose shiny little brown eyes seemed to have a mischievous glint.
"Waeekeee uuuup, sleeeeeepyyyyyy heaad. It's almoooost afternoooooooon!" He groaned at the annoying voice that drawled on, giving him a slight headache. "Wakey, wakey, Lumi dear. The sun's awake, the wind's up with its speed, the buzzing bees-"
"You're more annoying than bees!" He pushed the Neel's face away from his so they had a decent distance between them. Luminous was not even shocked to see his own face staring back at him. Taehyung smiled cheekily at him. He sat up straight, looking at a Verde and a Laal standing aside.
"Took you long enough to find me." He stood up, dusting his black... Black... Black suit, what would he do if they ask... He stretched his hands to hide his pale face. His attire was different, pure black that he wore to the Dark Palace.
"Nice outfit there." Hoseok pointed out with a smirk. "Everyone will believe if I said that you're The Prince." Luminous choked on nothing, making Taehyung pat his back gently.
"There, there. Don't go like that on him, Hobi. He's new to our clan, let's go... easy on him." Despite the words Taehyung had uttered, Luminous was sure to notice the teasing hint in the Neel's voice.
"But, the leather pants though..." Luminous smirked, feeling rather shy, at the same time proud of the compliments from the Laal.
"Oh stop, Hoseok. He's going to have a heart attack if you compliment him like that-"
"How can he not, when I stand here as a whole damn meal?" This was Taehyung's turn to choke, Luminous laughed and rubbed Taehyung's back the same way he did. "So, where's our clan?" Hoseok laughed at it, his laughter so contagious that Luminous felt himself smiling wide.
"Oliver had us safely. They are in a secret hideout." He gestured to the Verde who was looking at Luminous with surprise. Luminous was glad that it was just because he and the Neel beside looking like... What was the term Ji Ah used? Colour copies? Yeah.
"Come soon if you want the breakfast served hot, umm it's lunch at this rate," Oliver said and lead the way out of the forest, carefully avoiding the soldiers through narrow alleys that he somehow seemed to have mastered. Luminous stared curiously at how Oliver dropped three coins inside a... Dustbin. His eyes widened when the three jumped in without hesitating.
"This is incredible..." Luminous breathed out, looking at the mechanism that lead them into the sewage tunnel.
"The smell? Yeah." Luminous rolled his eyes at the Neel's comment. Looking at Taehyung made him remember the almost worn out picture from his mother's diary. Anybody could see it, the celebration was not too grand but... Their happy smiles gave the finishing touch of magic that his birthday parties never had, which didn't even include his own father, not that Luminous blamed him. He had a lot on his head for birthday parties...
"You alright?" Taehyung whispered, Oliver and Hoseok were having a quite animated conversation about 'the good old days of the famous town Culcheth'.
"Don't I look fine? I thought Hoseok agreed on how I look-"
"You know what I meant." Taehyung snapped, narrowing his eyes at the Dark Prince that Luminous was reminded of himself right at the moment. "I mean... You were crying when Jackson..." Luminous averted his eyes to the dirty walls, looking at the different patterns in those. Staring at it was much easier than looking at his eyes. His blue eyes exactly looked like Evelyn's.
"I was frustrated is all." He sighed while Taehyung stared with his gentle blue eyes. He couldn't make himself look at those, they reminded so much of his mother. "He knew he was about to die and... He's my brother's best friend."
"You have a brother?"
"A nasty Lil bugger in that." The Sebran smiled as he was reminded of Lucas. His imitations of a swooning lady were the best, though he wouldn't say that to the Dark Palace's General.
"Now that's new information there. Where is he?" Luminous face paled... He shouldn't have said that. Working as a General for the Dark Palace?
"Ah, I'm sorry... Is he with the Dark King?" Luminous was glad that Taehyung asked that. He nodded lightly, being unable to lie directly into those caring blue eyes that resembled his Mother's.
He's nearly dumb like Luane. Guess it rubs off...
Queen Evelyn hated lies, and from her own beloved son, she expected nothing but the truth. So much for being truthful and honest. They didn't protect her from the clutches of death. Honesty didn't come personified to save Evelyn when she was dying... Then why would anyone be truthful and honest? Though Luminous had fooled himself with these thoughts throughout the years, his heart tugs every time he lied and now, he did right to Taehyung... It felt like he was lying to his Mother and-it didn't feel right.
It's not a full lie though...
"We're here." Hoseok ushered them both inside, the horrible sewer smell magically vanished and the place was filled with the smell of delicious foods. Jin sighed in relief when he saw the Sebran and smiled at him. Luminous nodded back, wondering with wide eyes about how in the name of Purple Pegasus' white wings they built this.
"Glad you're back." Jimin hit his shoulders gently with a smile. "We were going nutters all night." Luminous shrugged as he sat down in a chair next to him, ignoring the swelling form of gratitude that formed in his heart. He stared at the food before him and his stomach grumbled
Let's dig on!
He was about to eat but something was buggering him... Like someone's stare boring through his skull. He tried to shake out of it but it seemed to get intense every second passed. Like a laser, it bore through his protection walls. He decided not to concentrate on this weird feeling and discreetly looked around the table. No one...
He turned his head, Ji Ah was staring at him with a straight face. She averted her eyes when he looked at her with a questioning gaze. Luminous frowned and ate his food, wondering why the elder Princess would want to kill him with her stare.
Arsehole. She thought and all she wanted to do was pull him by his ears and demand why the heck would he erase her memories and how did he even dare to do it.

"We've got to go past... A river, a mountain range, and two towns. And we still need to figure out where the weapon is in Culcheth. This is the only possible route we have if we want to avoid the soldiers of the Dark Palace as they are bloody everywhere after this town, as Oliver said so." Jin's finger traced out the path they take on the map that they luckily had in one of their sack.
Namjoon took in the things attentively, watching the distance of each and taking in the directions. As a Sebran, and the brain of the Palace (as much as the title seemed cringy to him) they rely on him for memory. Mr.Mon's tail was draped around the Sebran for balance, puffed mouth chewing the piece of bamaya that Hoseok got him. This fruit reminded him of banana on Earth which he came to be quite fond of, just the shape was like a papaya. That explains the name...
"It would be much easier if you go tomorrow, Jin. I just heard the General's holding a meeting tomorrow and all the soldiers would be there. You could easily get into the forest without getting attention." Jin seemed to think about it.
General of the Dark Palace?
Jin just wanted to get over with it right that time. Why moving on when the enemy was right near your reach. Loeva kept her hand over his, her soft and warm skin over his sweating palm calmed him in an instant. Though he was glad for it, he was scared at the same time. Scared of how will he live if anything happen to her or any of his friends.
He smiled a little and intertwined his fingers over her small ones. After discussing quite a while over the topic, the others agreed to Oliver's words.
"Alright. Then it goes by how Oliver says." He folded the map neatly after, smiling at the way Loeva was talking to Nevaeh, Jin wasn't sure but Loeva didn't seem any older than the ten year old girl. He went and kneeled near the little girl.
"Hello." He looked up into her curious black eyes. "I'm Jin. They call me worldwide handsome, you know?" Jin made a cross-eyed expression, puckering his lips out. Nevaeh giggled at that trying to cross her eyes the same way 'worldwide handsome' did.
"More like a worldwide funny guy." Namjoon chuckled, joining them on the couch. Mr.Mon sat comfortably on the armrest.
"Admit you are just jealous of my face, Joonie. I know you are." He flipped his purple hair back, looking at Namjoon with a challenging look in those twinkling purple eyes. Jin smirked when he caught Loeva stealing glances at his undeniably 'handsome' face.
"I'm not arguing about that. But somebody's got to deflate that bloody big ego of yours, right Nevaeh?" Hoseok asked her while she thought on it.
"I think you are handsome too, Jin." Nevaeh smiled cutely as Jin morphed his face into a shocking expression that made her laugh out more while Namjoon and Hoseok groaned as she said those words.
"Look, look, see that ego there? Getting bigger than a mountain?" Namjoon gestured her to look at Jin who was blowing out kisses, making 'handsome poses' as he called it. "Maybe you should've thought a bit more on that before saying out loud, Kid."
"Now tell me the answer for this-"
"Oh no, I know that look very well." Hoseok shook his head, his red eyes judging the General.
"What did the right eye, said to the left eye?" Nevaeh's eyebrows furrowed as the kid sat in deep thinking.
"Don't tell me its what I think..." Namjoon muttered under his breath.
"What's it?" Nevaeh asked and Hoseok, as much as he didn't want to participate, was curious about the answer too.
Jin's sneaky smile widened, "it said, 'Between us, something smells'." Nevaeh stared at the man in front with disbelief, his pretty black eyes wide.
"Nooooosseeeeee." She laughed while Namjoon and Hoseok groaned at the same time. Hoseok swore that he saw the Monkey facepalm.
"Let me ask another. How does the Moons cut their hair?"
"Tricky," Namjoon's gears spun in his head.
"Ha! Even the Brain has to think it!" Jin exclaimed and looked at the little girl.
"I don't know..."
"HEclipse it!"
"Ggrggaga kkahhagrrrr..." Mr.Mon shook his head. Others heads snapped towards Loeva.
"Where are you even finding these..." Loeva shook her head the same way, imitating the monkey that made Namjoon pet its head.
"You sure?" Nevaeh asked to Namjoon and Hoseok, "that he is the General of Arcturus?" laughing at the Urgen. Hoseok burst out with laughter that he fell from the couch.
"Trust us, we've been asking the same question for two and a half years..."
Loeva just smiled watching the exchanges, loving the ringing of laughter around her. Jin winked at her and she shook her head at his playfulness.
Life would be much easier if this laughter lasted forever. Not thinking about the dangerous adventure ahead made it easier to laugh. Loeva sighed, dreading the day when you, Luane, would have to stop the evil in this world.
Just if that girl trusted in herself...

"Help, please..."
"We beg you, you're the only one who we can depend on."
"We're being tortured."
"Don't you have a heart?"
"Please have some mercy on us."
"Oh God, why..."
Jungkook woke up so suddenly that his head spun due to the motion. He gulped a deep breath of air, calming down his racing heart. His red hair strands stuck onto his forehead with sweat. What is the meaning of these dreams...
"Kookie, it's alright. I'm here." You pulled him closer to you and hugged his shaking form. "It's alright, Jungkook. I'm here." He shut his eyes and leaned on you, trying to get those mental images of the people begging for help out of his mind. You caressed his hair gently, running your fingers through the wet strands that looked dark by the dampness. He pulled away when his breathing rate turned to normal, uneasiness vivid in his face. "Just a dream, Kook." You smiled at him gently.
"Seemed way too real for a dream..." He stared off, his eyes taking in the new environment. They landed on a shining piece of the red metal. The Peace Bringer... They increased from the day the sword came to him. Not that he never had these dreams at all, he did, countable times when he was little but, with this sword near, they were way too real and they are people wanting help.
"Wanna talk about it?" You tied your hair up with the blue ribbon tightly, adjusting it so the stray strands don't fall in your face, it didn't stand though, the ribbon came of and let the strands fall out. You tried again and finally gave up with a frustrated sigh. Jungkook smiled and shook his head at this.
"Come here," he pulled you closer to him and took away the nastily tied ribbon. His fingers grazed the almost worn-out material, a sad smile forming in the memory of it. The colour faded a lot, it was a forget me not blue really, but it almost seemed closer to white. He tied your hair, pulling a particular strand quite hard making you shriek in pain.
"Be gentle, you muscle pig." You slapped his arm while he laughed. He pulled your hair again, and you confirmed that it was intentional. You pushed him down as soon as he finished it. "Don't pull my hair. Understood?" If it was anybody else, there was a high chance of mistaking you two but hey it was Jungkook below and you, Luane up. His hands were pinned above his head and you holding him in place by your legs.
"You know how to hold so I don't escape, don't you?" He groaned, trying to push you away, but your hold was damn strong. He sighed. He could only blame on the iceblock of a trainer...
"Understood?" You pressed on, enjoying it more than anything.
"Yes, Mother. Now shove off!" He gave an almighty push to shove you off that made you lose your balance and land on the floor quite heavily.
"That hurts, you bleedin' Idiot!" You shrieked and rubbed your back grudgingly, pouting at the sudden pain.
"Sorryyyy, not sorryyyyy." He sang out and moved away, grinning at your grudging form.
You mumbled a curse word that would have made Namjoon shut your ears with his hands even though you're the one who says it. Shaking your head at the thought of Namjoon's ridiculous ways, you turned to find the muscle pig but- did he teleport or something?
You went around searching for him.

"How dare you?" Ji Ah seethed, her dagger pressed to the Sebran's throat just to have him not move from the place. The sun would have been soaring up at the sky but here, the whole day seemed the same, the place dimmed to light blue at the evening. Keeping track of time was hard here.
"What're you talking about, Princess?" He asked, not daring to move his mouth so much as Ji Ah held her dagger so close that he didn't even dare to gulp.
"Again! Talking like you don't know anything... Like you never did anything wrong." He stared into her eyes with an amount of cold that made her shiver internally. Her anger burned in those lovely doe eyes as she looked into his cold silver eyes.
"Move away, Princess. It isn't right to treat a person like this." Ji Ah's mouth turned into a scowl.
"What if I don't, Prince." Ji Ah could feel his muscles tensing, though it wasn't visible at all. The tiniest action it was and that made her confirm more. "Will you run to your Daddy then? Complaining about your sister?" She could feel him thinking, to use his bloody mind and get out but, Nah, Ji Ah won't. Nope, Not today.
"How did you remember?" He breathed, voice a whisper and tone defeated. The elder Princess lowered her dagger, pushing away the guilt that rose when she saw the mark of the dagger in his pale skin.
"I just did."
"You shouldn't, Ji Ah. It's better if you don't-"
"What will you do?" She seethed out, "Vanish yourself from my memories again?" Her vision blurred by the rising hot tears . She was not even sure how there were tears left when all she did was crying the day before.
"Ji Ah, please understand. I'm sorry." He moved his hands and silver dust floated around her.
Ji Ah chuckled with a roll of her eyes.
"I remember." Luminous frowned at her statement. He tried again, his sparkling silver dust much brighter, this time a little careful and harder. Ji Ah's closed her eyes. "I still remember." Her eyes glinted with challenge behind the tears.
"Wha-why? How-why it do-"
"You think a swipe of hand and a bit of glitter are enough to wipe those memories? You're an idiot, Luminous." She wiped her tears harshly, her eyes colder than any night the Dark Prince had ever seen. "
"Those were the memories, the scenes, the moments I love the most, they-they're not written in my mind. They're written in my heart and nobody can erase them. Even your father." Luminous would be lying if he said that he was not surprised by the amount of hatred she spat out.
"What do you know about him? Were you there with him all these years to know him so well?" He looked away, unable to take in the loathing in her eyes. The elder Princess clucked her tongue.
"You're defending him..."
"Because I'll be the only one who does so. Because nobody believes-"
"Because you're your father's son." Luminous looked like he was slapped in the face. Your father's son... She turned around to leave. Luminous fingers wrapped around her arm, pulling her back with such a tight hold that she felt her blood flow stop.
"I am not who you think I am. And I will never be." He sucked in a deep breath and took his hand away, waving his hand to cure the bruise he left on her arm. Ji Ah's eyes widened when she saw the black mist. Kaal's powers?
"And how do you prove it? How will you defend him for the lives lost?! Did you look at the child? Did you look at the people here? Who do you think is the reason, Luminous? What you've got to say for this?!"
"I CANNOT take responsibility for what he's done. It's not even him, Ji Ah. I thought... You would know, out of all people."
"I thought I knew him too. I don't know how Mother is tolerating his-"
"Evelyn is dead." Both of them knew who Ji Ah referred to as Mother. Silence lasted between the duo and for him it seemed like an eternity as Ji Ah processed his words.
"Mum's... dead?" Ji Ah shook her head, feeling weak in her knees. "H-how? When?"
"Just a few days after Aunt Inez took the throne as the Queen." Luminous mumbled. He remembered the way her lifeless form was laid over the coffin, her eyes were closed and she looked peaceful. Luminous was just a fourteen-year-old boy who loved his mother more than anything else and maybe that one incident had a great impact on him, just like it had on Marcus.
"It's been that long..." She blinked back the tears that threatened to fall. Of course, Marcus would be heartbroken. That explained the hatred he had grown... She let out a shaky breath. "You know, Mum wouldn't want this to happen if she was alive, she won't let him turn into a monster."
"I know that." Luminous picked at his nails to distract himself from his aching heart, though there was no dirt in his finger nails.
"You should try, Luminous. He's your father and he would-"
"Listen to me?" He chuckled, "He would, Princess, if he's my father. But strangely, I don't think we are related in any way other than the political status."
Ji Ah gasped, "Politics? He's your father for goodness sake."
"And what you want me to do now? Talk him out of this mess he got himself into?"
"Yes." The Dark Prince let out a frustrated breath and he ruffled his hair in anger.
"You don't understand this, do you? All I'm saying is that talking is of no use because he'll listen only to himself and his pathetic advisor. Not even to his own son, you get that?" Ji Ah looked at him warily.
"All the things you said now are excuses, Luminous. The excuses you thought to defend you and The Dark King. I refuse to believe you in this." Ji Ah turned her eyes away, unable to look in those silver eyes that stared at her like a wounded puppy.
"You don't trust me..."
"Not till you prove."
Luminous scoffed, "I haven't killed you yet, Princess." Ji Ah's eyes widened, "Though you know the truth about me and that was the first order of my King, I haven't hurt you to the least. Don't you think that's enough?" Ji Ah stared at him perplexed.
"He asked you to... kill?" She lost her balance, her knees giving up as Luminous held her arm, this time to steady her. "How did he turn so cruel?" She breathed out, thick tears blurring her vision. Things were so much messed up than she thought.
"That is why you must keep it a secret. Breathe this to a soul, and I may have to follow his orders-"
"Shut up. I know you won't." Luminous smiled and shook his head.
"I'm my father's son. You said that yourself, Ji Ah." Her brown eyes burned with anger.
"You don't have it in you to kill me, Luminous." Her voice, as daring as it can be held an enormous amount of challenge.
"Sure, I don't." Luminous said, "but I can defy the orders only to an extent and... I want this to end." Silence filled over the place while Ji Ah processed his words. "I want this war to end. A war that nobody started. A war that neither of the sides is at fault. You've known that Marcus more than myself, Ji Ah. And you know how he was and-I believe, I believe that there is that soft side to him still. All we need to do is to get him the throne-"
"The throne?! You've got to be kidding me-"
"It is his in the first place. He was denied his rights-"
"Then he should've acted worthy of it. You see what he's done to this planet, what would happen if the throne goes to his hand and, I cannot tolerate it. He had you fooled-"
"You're the fools here. The people who blindly trust that he is dark." Luminous scowled, "if only they looked closer, they'd see much more than an arrogant and cruel King, or was he that at all." Ji Ah's dagger pressed against his throat again.
"I told you not to defend, to not find excuses-"
"TRUTH IS NOT AN EXCUSE!" Luminous shouted, his eyes caught Ji Ah's dagger that the elder Princess held against him, the designs carved onto it were so much familiar. He pulled the dagger away, but Ji Ah resisted, pressing the cold tip right at his skin. He used his other hand to push away her arm and swiftly taking away the dagger from her.
"Give it back you insolent little-"
"How did you get this?" He studied the stone studded in it. If his hunch was right, Luminous pressed the two red stones together. The dagger shined as the other end sprouted a sharp edge two, and now the dagger was a... two-sided blade.
"Two sides for a blade, two stories for a man. One you know, the other you don't, Ji Ah." He sighed, staring at the blade in his hand with admiration.
"You see the symbol?" He dragged his finger over the handle which now held a figure of... a Sauger? Its bright blue eyes shined in the light as it looked at the bearer with a slight smile. Luminous smiled at the Sauger.
"That looks like..."
"Chloe. Her parent really." Its white mane was so detailed that it looked like they were swaying in the wind. "This was their choice of symbol. Father and Mother's. The flag of this Sauger flew high in the palace, the Dark palace."
"But, the Dark Palace's symbol is a Black Sauger though." She asked, amused by the dagger and why she hadn't noticed it before.
"You thought my mom had such a bad taste?" Luminous raised a brow. He tossed the weapon back to her and she struggled to catch it right as now it was sharp at both ends. Ji Ah shook her head, smiling at the thoughts of sweet aunt Evelyn.
"How did you know? I analyzed it for almost, all the time I had and yet you figured it in a glance." Luminous stared at her, then with a sigh, he pulled out something from his pocket.
"Father gave me this, when I was thirteen and won sparring against Mother. I was fond of daggers. He made this himself." Ji Ah took it from his hand hesitantly and true, both the daggers were similar. Ji Ah tried pressing the two stones just as Luminous did. She winced when the blade came swiftly out, ripping her skin at the contact.
"You're so clumsy." Luminous clucked his tongue, he waved his hand and the black mist surrounded the wound, curing it up though it left a little scar.
"It's in my blood." Ji Ah smirked as she handed over his weapon. She thought for a while, "if you're fond of daggers, then why use the sword?"
"You talk a lot for a Princess, you know that?" Ji Ah shrugged, nodding him to say the answer. "Excuse mee, you were threatening me with a knife at my throat and now you ask all friendly?"
"Go on. Aannnswwweeeerrr!"
"Are you drunk or what woman?!" Ji Ah laughed at his baffled state.
"I trust you, Lumi. We want the same thing."
"What?"
"We want this war to end." It took a moment for Luminous to process her words, a smile fell over the Dark Prince's lips. He nodded in approval, being glad that Ji Ah trusted him.
"Don't do anything stupid, which I or anybody else wouldn't approve. I may never forgive you if you do, brother."
"I would never. I promise."
__________________________________________________________
Jimin looked around the place, he was waiting for this moment. He was conscious about the slow crunching of the leaves beneath somebody's soles. Making sure the time is perfect, he let his muscles loosen and took a deep breath, feeling the rush in his blood, the whispering winds, and the lovely scent that had so much resemblance to Earth. He hummed the song he was practicing as he moved his body according to the rhythm, flowing smoothly like water down a stream. The closed clearing gave him the privacy he needed at the same time a hiding place for the presence. Dance. It was the only escape Jimin ever had, the only place where he found himself and he was always glad to get lost in it.
He smiled as the wind rushed past him fast with every move, making him imagine that it was eager to have him as a partner, dancing along with him. He was glad for the company of nature as it was usually a closed stadium or a room where only Ji Ah would watch him practice, correcting his moves with her sharp observing skills. He never felt confident to perform a choreography without Ji Ah's approval or his Dad's approval and usually, Ji Ah came up with the ideas. He jumped in the air doing a flip, messing it up quite hard, spinning around like an ice skater on his ring though there was no ice beneath his feet, and stopped, panting heavily. A messed up flip, oh that should bring out what he wanted...
"PARK JIMIN!" The teacher's voice echoed through the place, Jimin smirked. The faulty flip was what he wanted her to see and that was what her sharp observing eyes noticed.
"Are you zoning out again?!" She shrieked, shaking her head at the messy flip he did. "What were you wondering now?" She dropped her coat near where Jimin kept his sword. "Why cheese is named cheese? Why does sun shine in the morning and moon in the night? Or why humans walk on feet?" Jimin snickered, the sass in her voice. Ji Ah didn't even make up those questions. They were actual ones that Jimin asked her years before.
"Not that, Ji." He smiled, "But wondering will my lovely teacher forgive me."
"I'm honest, your flip was so messy and it was not something the Park Jimin, the dancing figure of all time, would do. You can do better than that, now come on-"
"I'm not talking about it. I'm talking about what happened... On that day, Ji Ah. You were not really in the mood to talk and... I-I couldn't apologize properly. I was such a jerk." Ji Ah eyed him warily, her heartstrings tugging at his sad puppy eyes, she could hold her act only for so long.
"Well, now that you understood you were a jerk, I'll think about it." She grinned mischievously.
"Come on, Ji Ah. I need three words-"
"I hate you." Her grin widened.
"We always know that the feeling is mutual, sissy. I'm talking about the other three words."
"I love you." She blew a kiss but Jimin rolled his eyes.
"Other three."
"Do I know it?" She pressed her index finger to her forehead, "let me think. Hmmm."
"You forgive me or not?"
"Do a proper flip now." Jimin rolled his eyes. He rose in air, easily pulling of the flip with so much elegance of a feather, making Ji Ah swell up with pride . He raised his eyebrows, nodding for her to go on.
"I wasn't even mad at you, really. Right the moment I got myself landed on a freaking little hole and hid from the Dark Palace men and got myself into a this freaking mess. Yeah, I forgave you, chimchim."
The Light Prince smiled, "Those were the three words I was waiting for. I'm sorry really... Didn't know what got into me that day." Ji Ah chuckled.
"You behaved like a girl on her periods." Jimin's face flushed at her comment, "aww, my brother is shy. Should I take a picture of this and frame it as big as our Palace wall."
"Shut up!" He shouted, though a small smile formed on his face, he can't be more glad for Ji Ah to be herself again. "You should talk to Loeva. She was so worried, didn't sleep the whole night the day you left." He took up the sword along with the belt and tied it around his waist so that it hung in his side. "We all were..."
"I was an idiot. I agree. but... if I didn't idiotically end up in that hole, the kid would not be alive, Chim." she sighed, pushing back the thought of the guy who died for her and-because of her. "I guess I probably should talk to Loeva." She moved away, not wanting to show how much she was hurting inside, it would only worry him more. Jimin sighed, feeling helpless when her cheerful attitude drops so suddenly, like a lotus at night. He stared at her back until she dissapeared behind the trees.
Wondering about bringing back his sister's cheerful old self, he turned around, forgetting to look at the figure running his way. He fell with the heavy weight on top of him. "What the hell are you thinking woman?!" His lips were busted as your head hit hard on those, making them swell up red.
"I-I'm s-so s-so-sorry." You bit your tongue from stuttering as you stood up, lending him a hand to get him on his feet, both literally and figuratively. You dusted his cream-white shirt, feeling heat rushing up your cheeks when you felt the strong muscle beneath. Stupid Luane. Keep eyes on the front when you run!
He cleared his throat, averting your attention to his face. His firm and steady brown eyes bore into yours while your hand paused the action you were doing. Oh oh, too close...
"You're clumsier than me, you know that?" He said, his voice vibrating deep from his throat that your stomach feel like a rollercoaster drop. You stared at his bleeding lips. He tilted his head, his deep eyes were staring through your burning face.
"You're lips-"
"Are kissable?" He leaned in, an arrogant smirk hanging on his reddish lips, his eyes full of mischief and beyond that, some twinkling, something which you had seen being described in books. You cleared your throat, bringing yourself out of the trance Park Jimin got you into.
"-Are bleeding." You said, not daring to look at the intense brown eyes. You handed your handkerchief to him and moved a step back, making sure that he didn't hear the loud drumming of your heart.
He licked his lips, your handkey being useless in his hands. "Wouldn't mind giving a kiss though, would we?" He tilted his head, curiosity reaching his peak as he saw your reddened face and the way you internally squirmed under his gaze. "Every wound heals with a kiss."
"What's gotten into you?" You shook your head, ignoring the building thoughts and trying to move past him. Before you could run away from there, his hand caught your arm and pulled you behind as your back hit on the trunk of a tree. His hands were on either of your sides, locking you inside.
"Not so fast, Luane." His intense brown eyes, they were so pretty to look away from that you found yourself lost in them...
"Ji-Jimi-"
His lips pressed on yours, gently and slowly, he brought his hand to cup your cheek while his other hand wrapped around your waist, pulling you closer. The metallic taste of the blood on his lips strangely made you crave for more. Your mind was hazy, the only thing that you could feel was the way his soft plump lips moved over yours and the way his hands caressed your cheeks. He guided your hands to his nape and you melted right there in his small touches.
Warmth blossomed in your chest, at the same time, a tinge of suspicion while your lips brushed together feverishly. The smell of lavender filled your nose and the soft scent was dizzying, butterflies dancing in your stomach. But... No, something was not right...
You pulled away to catch breath, your head still dizzy as you held onto his arms, cheeks red. His eyes were clouded, lips swollen, pink hair a mess while small smile tugged on his lips.
Something shiny caught your attention... A leaf of some sort, and you exactly knew what sort it was. Now that you look closer his eyes were foggy, oh how much more stupid can you be? Tears streamed to your eyes, you moved your face away when he leaned in again.
Picking up the pale pink leaf on his shoulder, you ran away, hating to know that... It was not real. Wind rushed past you as you moved as far away and as fast as you can. Jimin stood there frozen, processing what had just happened.
You skid to stop in front on the little lake, scaring away the swans. Crushing it in your fist, you threw it in the lake. Hating how you thought somebody would even-
"Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" You kicked the trunk of the tree not even caring when your toe was bleeding.
I didn't even think.
Too eager for a romantic life aren't you?!
Pathetic. People are dying out there.
Frustration reached it's peak, you pulled your hair and shrieked out, "FUCKIT ALL!" You don't even care what Namjoon would say right now, that selfish bastard. Caring about what people would think of him but not caring to act by his heart's way. Everybody has a problem, every thing is messed up and what was I even thinking?
You sat, sighing out a deep breath. You can't help but laugh through the tears. Your whole life was messed up, took you long enough to notice huh? Born on Earth a planet so tiny like a dot, millions of light years away and how in the name of raining pink potatoes you ended up on Arcturus?!
"Sometimes, you shouldn't think tooooo deeep."
"Oh, shut up." You groaned, not in the mood for the old man's advises.
"No, really kid-"
"I'm twenty for goodness sake, and soon will be twenty one. And you dare call me kid, Noah." Despite the threat in your voice, Noah chuckled.
"Don't want to talk with this Old man, huh? Just... Know that, I'm sorry." You stared at him through the corner of your eyes, sometimes, you forget that he was much older than you. You sighed, leaning your head on his shoulder.
"What're you sorry for, Noah?"
"For my whole existence." You hit the old man's arm gently, letting a smile out at his statement.
"Aren't we all sorry for our existence."
"Nah, mine's a special case. Story's for another time though."
"Come on, you never tell me anything at all, the last time it was just the Dark King standing on top of the palace with the wind whooshing past dramatically and you come up with a lantern, made it stand on its own, scared the wits outta me, and live in my mind rent free-hey," Noah dissapeared suddenly, "heyy!" Mark my words, I'm going to get all the matter out of you one day.
"Luane? Is that you?" The last-maybe the second last person you wanted to see at that moment. His deep voice irritated you Taking in a deep breath to control your shaky vocals, you answered.
"Yes?" Luminous blinked when he heard your cold voice... Are we roleplaying? Why do I feel like I'm talking to myself... Shaking his head to snap out of the thoughts, he moved near you.
"You alright?-you don't look fine and I heard-"
"Why do you even ask when you know I'm not?" You seethed, anger burning in your eyes. True that you were taking out your anger in him, but you need to vent it out. Surely Noah had a lot on his mind to snap at him, but this guy, honestly, he got your temper increase.
"Who are you and what have you done to Luane?" You clucked your tongue at his statement, stood up and walked in the other direction. Luminous raised his eyebrow as he watched your back. Strange it was, seeing you this way, a totally different persona and... It amused him.
"I wanted to ask you something!"
"What?" You groaned, wanting nothing but to be alone. You were not sure if that was what you wanted deep down. You appreciated Noah's company, but not this black and white Xerox copy of a cold headed Taehyung . The eerie mist glowed above started to dim slowly while you waited, wanting to be done with him as soon as you can.
"Told you, wanted to ask you something."
"And?" He paused for a moment, eyebrows deep in thinking.
"Do you think aliens think of us as aliens?"
"Uh- what?" That arrogant smirk took over his face made your roll your eyes.
"I'll ask you the next then, why do fruits have seeds inside and not on the outside?" You stared at him in disbelief making his grin widen.
"Hmm, you don't know... I should research this with Namjoon. What do you think? We both have the brains." You shook your head and started walking at a fast pace which he easily covered with his long strides. You looked away from the ridiculously amount of handsomeness the blue light added on to his face.
"Oh, me working with your umm, what Yoongi said?.... Ex, was it, is making you feel uncomfortable, love?"
"Don't call me that." You frowned, trying to move away from him as soon as possible.
"Why? Are you shy, love?" You stopped in your track and observed him head to toe, you kept your palm on his forehead, feeling his temperature with yours. You then pulled him down by the collar, standing on tiptoes to inspect his head, moving out the silky silver strands. "Luane dear, Not to disturb the Mr.Mon kinda thing you're doing but, what're you doing?" You tilted your head, checking his face, ignoring his confused expression.
"You don't have a fever."
"Okay?"
"You haven't hit your head somewhere?"
"I suppose I don't..."
"Hmm... You sure no spirits have possessed you?"
"Psst, if you think I'm possessing him, I just can't. He has a bloody strong and stubborn mind!" You tuned out Noah's voice and stared at him, wondering what brought the sudden change.
"Nope, I'm one hundred percent sure that my spirit is in control of my body."
"You are weird today, like Tae. Are you Taehyung in dyed hair and silver conticts?" He shook his head, a smile twitching over his lips at your sassy form.
"Firstly, No, I'm Luminous Vance, for God's sake people don't have to remind me every second that we look alike. Secondly, it's contacts. And thirdly, I'm curious. What made you so sassy?" You eyed him warily, saying that you snogged a boy when that boy was under the influence of a god damned tree that produced pretty pink leaves which gave the scent that stimulates an obsession over the near person-No, not a great idea.
"None of your business." You could notice the slight pucker of his lips, but nah, this would be a secret you'll take to the grave.
"Are you sure, love?" You closed you eyes to control yourself from yelling at the man in front. He nodded his head, asking you to answer.
"Yes, absolutely none of your business. Besides, you know what? I know nothing about you, Luminous. I just came to know your last name is Vance. I literally know N-O-T-H-I-N-G about you and you can't expect me to tell whatever is personal to me-"
"What you wanna know?" He said, looking at you innocently.
"Huh?" You blinked. Did he agree to it that easily?...
"Ask, I'll make sure to let you know, love."
"Stop calling me love for God's sake!"
"You know, that's making me want to call you more." You sighed and kicked the sand, hissing when it stung at the place where it was bleeding. He looked down and clucked his tongue. "You have quite the temper when you're angry, Luane." He waved his hand as much to your surprise, black mist lingered over your toe and it was completely healed, a perfect Kaal's magic it was.
"H-how did you do it?" You asked, surprise evident in your voice, "on that day too, you used an Urgen's powers. How?"
"I'm Omanousius." He shrugged.
"You what?" He rolled his eyes at your oblivious expression.
"It refers to a person who has every power Arcturans have. Every power. Not born with it, it's like how a a Prextran can learn and practice to use other powers, like that."
"So, you're a Prextran too?"
"That's how I teleport."
"Lyren?"
"Could easily keep out other Lyrens, just that I've got to concentrate on it that time and should not concentrate that I am concentrating on it, and concentrate on the other things too-kind of a hard work really." You stared at him in awe, forgetting quite about the situation you had a few minutes back. Luminous ignored the heat that rushed up to his cheeks.
"And a Neel?"
"Yes."
"Verde?!"
"Luane, I told you what Omanousius means and you're talking like you don't understand a bit." You opened your mouth to speak but shut it as you were going to ask another thing which would be stupid according to him.
"That's the first time I see someone has all the powers of Arcturans... While some doesn't have anything at all." Your mind lazily went back to Jungkook, how you often find him crying to himself. He hated being a Laal, every night he used to think that maybe, just maybe, if he was any other thing than a Laal, he would've helped us more, he would've stopped parents' death. It's so clearly visible, the pain in his face, but you can't make him understand that it was not his fault.
Must God be so cruel in his creation?
"It isn't easy." He sighed, moving his silver locks away from his eyes, "The more power you have, the more responsibility lies. As per Arcturus' golden rules, helping others with our powers, I rarely do it." He averted his eyes to the sand, looking at the interesting patterns of the small rocks in them-
"At least you don't plot your friends' death behind their backs." Luminous' eyes snapped back at you.
"Marcus... heard that he could use every power too when my parents were talking to each other secretly, they barely let us into their political conversation."
"Marcus plotted their death-what did Fa-"he coughed out, "what did the Dark King want with your parents?"
"Obvious isn't it." A sad smile formed over your lips, "Me." He averted his eyes away, not being able to look at you right in the eye. "He killed them too, seems like he plotted it for a very long time-"
"How Marcus knew your parents?"
"Father's a protector. Mother too, though she was not from a pure protector family, they both vowed themselves as one. Guess they were friends when things were all sunshine and daisies."
"I didn't know about that..." The picture came into his mind and so did the words in the diary.
"I did want to go without Marc's permission, more like, without him. But being the Marcus Damon Gonzanez he is, he refused. That's why I had to sneak out from my own palace for crying out loud."
"I don't expect you to." You frowned at him. "Mother was really close to the Queen and aunt Eve."
"You mean Evelyn?"
"I-yeah?" You stared at him questioningly. "Yeah-"
"What do you know about her?" His eyes twinkled, wanting to know more, almost begging you to say more.
"What you've got to do with her?"
"Please, is she... related to you in some way?"
"I just called her aunt didn't I? And she's married to the Dark King. Why are you so curious?" His eyes drooped like that of a sad puppy's. Okay... So what does he want with her now?
"I bet she was much nicer yeah? I mean, you don't judge her for being a bad guy's wife-"
"She's the wonderful person I've ever met. And I can't judge a person with whom they are related. Every one is different- Why are you so curious about her?" You were even more confused by seeing him grinning so wide.
"Nothing. None at all." Silence engulfed the atmosphere as you two walked, footsteps synchronised in that bluish environment.
"Luane?" You hummed in return, "Do you think I'll be like the Dark King?" You stopped, looking at his serious expression z he was not joking.
"Just because you have his powers, doesn't mean that you'll be like him." His eyes roamed over the horizon, so silver they were that they seemed to be glowing in the dimmed place.
"What if I turn out to be like him? I still can't sort out which side I belong..." He chuckled, "I'm sure you've got it figured by now. You're not that stupid" You nodded meekly. "Helping the dark side just don't seem right, at the same time, I haven't got any chance. I don't know who I am anymore..."
"You are a good person, Luminous." His head shot up to you as a gentle smile took over your lips. Now it was clear to see the red hues dancing over his usual soft pale cheeks. "I don't know who you are even now, but... I'm sure you are not all evil. You are on there right side and I can simply feel it."
"Thank you." His voice was thick with gratitude. He really was not sure who he was anymore. Because once, Luminous liked only evil, dark and that kept him going through life because going by the rules, by being good, he'll only end up in being hurt or worse, dead. But now... He liked the way good felt, how light felt, how people cared about him and though he must break their hearts, it felt nice when people trusted him.
"So, shall we check your sword skills?" He distracted himself from the thoughts, as long as he don't think about it, the less it seemed complicated.
"Pfffft, You have no idea, I have improved so much by your tips, Mr.Coach." He rolled his eyes, his lips twitching to form a smile. Hey, at least he made you forget the temper you were having.
"Not missing the show." You turned upon hearing the Neel's voice. His hand was completely healed, his blue eyes shining in the blue light as he watched. "Guess I'll be Kookie for today as my student had a new Coach."
"Don't worry, Taetae. No one could replace the Coldheaded iceblock trainer that you were."
"My pleasure." He bowed dramatically as you shook your head.

At quite a little distance from the Patron and the Dark Prince's spar, the Light Prince sighed as he stumbled down, his head in his hand. He bit his lip which made the wound open again.
Did I went too far with the kiss...
Maybe I startled her?
Ugh! Should've controlled my reflexes. He cursed under his breath, leaning his head on the tree trunk. He didn't know how to when he saw how confused you were, with your cheeks pink and doe eyes wide... and with the softest lips he ever tasted. He sighed, not that he never kissed in his life, excuse me He is The Park Jimin! The Dancing figure of Asia whom millions of girls want to have a look at. But... This time, it was a lot different. He clicked his tongue wishing that you stayed just a little, a mere moment longer so he could've told what he wanted to.
Because at that moment, with you in his arms, it seemed like anything was possible. And all he had to do was say the words he wished to. Maybe he should've waited... They were on the tip of his tongue, the words he wanted to utter but, he didn't know what came over him. He clucked his tongue, hating how everything around him was a mess.
Little did you know that it was completely intentional and all that little leaf ever did was robbing him out of speech the moment he held you in his arms and made him lean in for more...
