12.MEMORIES?
If only there is a way.
He couldn't take this anymore. Yes. He was surrounded by people. But still he felt like a moon which was not recognised by the people.
And why?
It is because he refuses to light up the night sky.
And he knows that.
Who should be blamed?
I am the one who pushed them away. I am the one who was such a jerk to them. But still, why? Why does it hurts so much? Why is it this hard?
He slowly looked at his friend, but only to realise that he was long gone. He chuckled. His blue hair now sticking on his forehead because of the tears of the sky. His eyes slowly leaving his laal friend and towards the sword on the ground covered with green dirt. He went and picked it up, the weight of the sword much lighter than the weight in his heart.
I will find a way.
To make it all right.
I can make it right.

You had your dinner. A nice one after a long time. Taehyung was the one who cooked for the both. That little squirrel bowl he found when he was younger, he still had it on his trunk. You saw it when it was opened. You couldn't hide the smile that was growing on your face at that thought. You missed those days.
"Well, well. What puts that lovely smile on you Lu?" Ji Ah asked scooting near you, with her chin rested on her hand. "Nothing." You said chuckling. Ji Ah was 5 years older to you yet she acts like a kid.
You met nice people here. Oh and Jimin introduced his laal friend, Hoseok. Seokjin was an Urgen, Yoongi a Verde and the younger princess. She didn't talk much though. More like didn't talk at all. She was definitely awkward around her siblings.
You all were eating at the same place. And you must admit that the palace food is heaven compared to the one you ever had in long. Jimin clearing his throat caught your attention. He tilted his head at his sister, signalling her to follow him. So Ji Ah excused herself and left behind him, following him like a puppy.
One thing made your breath hitch in your throat. Your heart rate increased as soon as your eyes fell on him. A Sebran. You saw a Sebran entering there, a small smile on his face causing the beautiful dimples to appear. Could it be him? Was that him who threatened me there? "Mhmm. I think I am late to the feast?" He said taking the empty spot near you.
But no. The voice of that Sebran was much deep. Much cold. The one that sends a shiver down your spine. But his was not like that. "And if I had assumed right, you are supposed to be the human right? The one the protectors brought?"
Your eyebrows furrowed at this. The fact that you are human, you only came to know it today. Yet the people in the palace knows you. And what is the things with protectors? Who is that protector he is talking about?
Tae and kook?
That familiar knot started to constrict your throat at this. They were assigned as the protectors to protect me. A bitter chuckle escaped your mouth. But still I can't come into a conclusion. I have to hear them.
You excused yourself from the table, bowing your head slightly to show your respect. You went where you wanted to go. The only place you get answers.

"Now. Tell me Ji." Jimin said. Leaning in the wall of the same room he was kept when he first came here. "Tell me everything." He said, his eyes narrowing at her.
Ji Ah gulped. Not really knowing from where to start. "Ok. Now sit down. There is a lot you need to know. And I can't talk too much because I am sleepy." Ji Ah said looking sheepishly at Jimin who was having an annoyed look.
"Then are you not gonna sa-"
"Shh chim chim. I just said that I can't talk. But I'll show." Ji Ah said. A smirk spreading on her plump lips. She closed her eyes and brought her hand up. Jimin looked at her confused. But he was not confused after that thing. He was shocked. His firm posture turning into a careful one, looking at her sister in disbelief.
The same pink aura surrounded her. Her dark chocolate eyes now glowing to that same brilliant pink. Her hands surrounded by some sort of sparkling pink dusts. What is going on?
The dusts followed the movement of her hands, forming a screen in front of both of them. "Listen well." She said, her voice changing from that adorable sister's to one of a teacher's. Warm and comfort into firm and strict. The screen in front of them showed a big purple sphere.
"This planet is called Arcturus. This was formed even before our earth." Jimin now came closer to Ji Ah, taking a seat next to her on the bed. His eyes not leaving the screen as if of a kid who is watching his favourite cartoon.
"Our mom, she was born here. A royal in that. Here people's strength and are calculated by their hair and eye colour. The more strength means the more respect you get." She said. Now zooming into the small sphere, which showed names?
"Prextrans. They are the pink haired arcturans." Ji Ah said looking at Jimin. "Our mom." Jimin said as a statement. "You are right."
"The next powerful Arcturans are Sebrans and Urgens. Silver and Purple haired Arcturans. These two are said to have the same strength. Whenever they fight, they end in a tie."
"What, so they make these... Uhh... rankings by making people fight?" Jimin asked, his eyebrows furrowed. Why are they promoting violence?
"You are partly true. But it is actually based on who wins in a battle." Ji Ah's statement made him even more confused. Maybe even angry?
"Battle. But why? Why would they figh-"
"Shhhhhhhh. I'll come to that eventually. Now listen. The next are the Neels and Verde. The Blue and green haired arcturans. They are said to be equally powerful too."
"So the one brought me here is a Verde." Jimin said. Slowly observing everything Ji Ah says. He haven't even listened this much in his school. Thinking about that Verde, he thought of handling him later.
"Yes. The next are Kaals and the Lyrens. The black and blonde ones. They are not that powerful, but still their help is needed in the society. And the last are Laals. They... don't have any powers. But once people believed that they were the Gods. That they created Arcturus. And they are said to be the reincarnation of the Gods. But as time went, when people were sure that they didn't have any powers, that they were...weak than the others, they started to push them. Disrespect them. Treat them worse than anything."
"That is not good. Why, haven't the...uhh...king do anything about this?" Jimin asked, clearly frustrated with these kind of stereotypes.
"Yeah. Many rulers tried. Every ruler only wishes peace in their country. But if they support Laals, rebels and the nobles will not tolerate it. People will get separated into two groups. And no one wanted it. So...they couldn't do anything but be deaf and dumb about these. But I can't say every one. Our mom didn't keep quiet about these issues. She did everything in her power to make people forget about their gender , identity and these stupid stereotypes and made Arcturus a better place. That is why every person in the kingdom loves her." As she was talking, she saw Loeva entering the room. As soon as her eyes fell on that screen, she laughed?
"Why are you teaching him like you are teaching school children? And you use the same charts they explain on our history class. That too in kindergarten." Loeva laughed can't be able to control herself. You guys know about her laughter tolerance right?
"You see who this is chim?" Ji Ah asked looking at Jimin.
"Uhh. Loeva? That is what she said she is." He said gesturing that he has no idea.
"Remember our little sister?" At Ji Ah's statement, Jimin's eyes widened. Even Loeva's.
"Wait wait wait. Our little sister? He is my brother?" Loeva asked her eyes widening at Ji Ah.
.
"Look at me yujin. Me. I am Jimin." A eight year old voice.
"Stop chim. Don't bother her." Her mom saying that to a eight year old boy
"I am her brother so I will bother her." The same boy had lovely chocolate eyes and pink hair.
So that is not just dream. They were memories. Memories from the past.
"Yujin?" Jimin said looking at his sister in disbelief. "This is yujin?" He asked Ji Ah who had a tender smile tugging at the corner of her lips.
"Yes. Jimin. She is Park Yujin. Our younger sister."
They both were looking at each other for a solid thirty seconds.
"Haha. I knew it. Why didn't I think this before. I should have known this from her sassy remarks and innocent looks. She is handmade to be a Park." Jimin said, gladly breaking the ice which was forming. Thanks to him or else this whole night would have been awkward to the three of them.
"Am I being complimented or being teased now?" Loeva asked narrowing her eyes at her newfound brother. "Why? I told you that you are a Park. And it is definitely a compliment." Jimin said defensively, but still that smirk said it different.
"Hey. Now keep your petty fights later. I need to finish this and sleep soon." Ji Ah whined at the two of them. Seriously tell me who is the younger one here?
"I'll continue." Loeva said making Ji Ah to look at her thankfully. "Do please." She said standing up from the bed, moving out of the room. She peeked her head again. "Oh. Forgot to say. Sweet night my darlings." With that said she walked away her footsteps slowly fading away.
"So now hear me." Loeva said now preparing and doing the same thing her sister did.
"You know, you have grown a lot. You were this much when I last saw you." Jimin said gesturing little Loeva's size with his hands. Loeva stood frozen at this. Anticipating on what to say. What should she say now.
"Do you... remember those days?" Jimin asked with hesitance. His eyes searching, no, memorizing his sister's face. She looked like his mom. Exactly her. Her features were so elegant and anyone could tell that she is the daughter of the Queen.
"I don't think you would. You were barely five then." Jimin chuckled at her awkwardness around him. He could feel that she is trying. Trying to break this awkward tension around the both of them.
"I think I do." Loeva said. Folding her hands behind her, rocking back and forth on her heels. "I don't remember everything actually. But I still remember a little boy with pink hair, not letting me to be at peace , wanting all my attention to himself." A small smile tugged at the corner of her lips at this. A small ache in her heart too. "But I thought those were just dreams. I... didn't think that those were real memories. Since no one told about both you guys, I happened to think all of it as a dream." Loeva said, looking down, not really knowing how to look at him.
"So you remembered me. That's... good." Jimin said looking at her, rubbing his nape, not knowing how to continue the conversation. "Once you took and ate my food. The baby food. You remember that... Jimin. You got scolded by mom, dad and even Ji Ah for that." Loeva said liking to say his name, to call someone brother and chuckling at memories of the past which were flooding her mind.
"You, why? Ahhh. Of all things, why you have to remember that?" He said facepalming himself hard to hide his now red face from the embarrassment. Loeva laughed at this. Her laughter. It was just like his father's.
When things were beautiful, when things were going on perfect...
Something has to ruin it right?
Loeva chuckled.
Only if mom didn't take me away from them.
Only if things weren't this way.

Why?
Why me?
Why dad has to choose me out of his 7 million men.
He sighed. Not really liking the decision of his father.
"Upset prince?" The voice of the black haired male echoed along with the footsteps of both.
"I don't know Lucas, but one day trust me, I am going to rip the feathers of the bird one by one to torture it and I will kill it by myself. Or why extra work, I might just throw it to the Cronuses in the training field." He said, shaking his head and walking along the general. His silk robe following his every movement elegantly.
"Calm down your highness. I will accompany you in that work." He said laughing, patting the shoulder of the Prince gently causing the said prince to narrow his eyes at him.
"Tell me again, why am I your friend?" He asked clicking his tongue at the black haired male. His silver hair shaking along his head. "Oh you know why? It is because you love me my Prince." Lucas said, imitating a girl's voice and actions. This earned a boxy smile from the Prince.
By this time, they both were there in front of huge dark gates. The gates were nearly touching the stars above. "I'll try to comeback as soon as possible." He sighed. Looking at the younger boy with concern. "Please don't get into trouble. I can't help you if you did again. Do you hear me?"
"Yeah. I will try my best." Lucas said, smiling cunningly, which definitely meant the opposite. "I am serious Lucas. I don't know what that bird would do to you when I am not around. So be... careful." He said, causing the general to nod his head. Lucas didn't know what he did to deserve this kind friend.
The prince pulled his black hood up, covering his head as it looked like it was about to rain. The general opened the door, but the door didn't lead to anywhere. It was blank. Black. Space.
A Space which is connected with time and place. In other words, a portal. He entered, giving the black haired male one last glance, praying to whatever god up there to keep his friend safe.
He felt a sudden pull, as if somebody is throwing him from the top of a cliff, that much force. He closed his eyes shut. When he opened it, he was already there in the place he was destined to be. The huge view of the main palace welcomed him. There was a lake near him. Oh this is that same place. He can't help but think about the look on your face. The way you clutched your sword, the way sweat trickled down your chin, you were not scared. But you were ready to find and fight and he liked that. He still wants to know. And that is the only thing that made him accept what his Dad said.
"You must find that human. I heard that you already saw her didn't you. So this must be a piece of cake for you son. Oh and don't forget the little play."
Tell me again why my dad is this lazy?
The mud below him stuck on his shoe. It has rained and still he could see the small drizzles falling and making ripples in the water. He let out a breath. Still not feeling comfortable to take his hood down.
I must go before i get myself drenched up.
So he ran towards the same stairs which was there that time, looking at the beauty of nature in front of him. He loves these kinds of things. Nature. The drenched purple leaves of the trees now moving with the speed of wind which was carrying the soil's smell. This type of thing is hard to see where he is living. There would be trees, but no leaves. There would be wind, but all they give is irritating itching feeling. Here everything is different. A good type of different.
As he was observing the nature, he didn't hear the footsteps that were coming towards him.

You were determined. I shouldn't back of now. But how to start? I'll think about it later. First I have to find them both. You thought, jogging along the huge corridors, your eyes scanning every nook and corner carefully to find your Laal or Neel friend.
It was really hard. Since all the halls were identical as if it was intended for the person going to get lost. Your heart was beating harder, sweat drenching your palm as you wiped them in your pants. The chilly wind made you pull your long brown coat together to get some warmth from it. And there.
You saw him standing there. Looking at the view in front of him. It is him. You can tell him correctly even out of a thousand people. It doesn't matter if his hair was hidden by a hood or not. You know him. His hands kept on the railings as he looked there in front of him, his back facing you.
Your feet took you near him slowly, the beating of your heart being louder than the bombs. You were just one step away from him. He didn't turn around. You didn't know what was going on his mind because he is the most cautious person you have ever seen, but now him being oblivious to your presence is... strange.
You took you hand expecting to see the same face with that lovely blue hair and blue eyes filled with guilt, or regret, or even a little bit afraid when you touch him.
But no.
All you saw was a pair of silver eyes looking at you confused, with his mouth parted a little in shock. His hood fell off his face while he was turning making you to look at his face and hair clearly.
Teahyung?
Taehyung is a Sebran?
No.
No he is not.
"Tae." It is all that came out of your mouth, that was enough to bring the memories of those dreams to you again.
Because this man is Taehyung. But why is he a Sebran?
