10. COMFORT?

"Who are you?"

You asked the first thing that came to your mind. His brown eyes were shining with the purple light of the sky as he looked at your face carefully. Your hair was tied behind with a small blue ribbon, stray strands falling in the side of your face. He sat down near you with a grunt and carefully looking out for any insects. The furry creature moving away from his shoulder and climbed on the tree near which you were sitting with your knees hugged close.

"Jimin... Luane. Is that your name?" He asked. Unsure whether he said your name right.

"How do you know my name? Are you one of those creepy people from that palace who have been watching me through my whole life?" You asked at the unknown Arcturan in front of you with a disgusted and annoyed look, your eyes eyeing him up and down cautiously. You felt something familiar radiating from him.

Jimin chuckled at this and shook his head. "No."

"Then how do you know my name?" You asked again, not knowing how this Prextran knows you.

"When that Red one called you."

Oh.

"Don't think of them low." You said now with a low irritated voice. In fact, this was not the first time you heard people talk about the Laals badly.

"Think of who?" Jimin asked tilting his head to the side, not really understanding your question.

"About the Laals." You said. His action confusing you a bit.

"Laajibola what?" He asked confused, blinking his eyes to process your words.

"You don't know? Laals, prextrans. You really don't know?" You asked him, a hint of amusement present in your voice, forgetting about those problems that happened just before. He just shook his head with utter confusion.

"I am not from this place you know, so..." He said smiling sheepishly at you.

"You are from Earth." You said. More of a statement instead of a question.

"Yeah." He was now looking at the sky which was dark violet. The suns were completely down and the moons were dominating the sky. The clouds were dancing around the blue and purple moons as they celebrated the night. One, two, three, four... Stars slowly started to form dots in that clear sky. The chilly wind blew past the trees, rustling them to make a sweet melody.

"Why did you ask that? Even Hoseok looked upset when I mentioned his hair colour. Is it wrong?" He asked. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"You will know soon." You said, figuring that this Hoseok is a Laal from his statement. The name made memories rush through you again. But you were not interested to talk about that specifically.

"Why were you upset? I saw you crying." He said. Still looking at the ethereal scenery in front of him. His voice was as smooth as it can be.

You sighed at his question. Why was I upset? Because they lied to me? But so many times I lied to both of them when I took and ate their snacks without them knowing. They didn't take it seriously. So why am I upset right now?

"I am not sure." You said, really not being sure of everything. He looked at you at your statement. His chocolate brown eyes searching your face carefully. He let out a breath. You honestly have no idea of how to feel about this. At this point you were numb.

"It is okay to feel nothing. It is okay to be not sure of everything around you. Because no one is. I don't exactly know what happened between you and them. But from what I observed I can tell that you are a human and they didn't tell you all along right?" He said, his voice sending shiver down your spine, and you felt your hair rising on your skin in how much he was right. His eyes still refusing to leave the sky. Or was it reluctant to meet yours?

"You overhead the whole thing and dare to ask me straight." You said shaking your head playfully with a small smile tugging at the corner of your lips.

"Hey. It is not my fault. You were so loud." He said defensively, shaking his head to prove that your statement is wrong.

"Why did you come here? Following me?" You stretched your legs straight, leaning on the tree more comfortably.

"Would you believe me if I say that I just wanted to talk to you?" He said. Now turning his head to look at you, only to see your eyes looking straight at his.

"No."

"You know what. I just found that my Mom is not a human." He said. His voice was so low, resonating the pain in his heart.

"So you are an Arcturan?" You asked, turning to look at his face, the purplish-blue glow lit his face in a heavenly manner.

"It seems like I am." He said with a bitter smile at the corner of his face. "I just found that she is from this place. And the thing that hurts the most is that the ones with me always, my dad and sister knows about it all along and haven't said a single word about this. I thought both our cases were the same. That is why I wanted to talk with you..." You looked at him, not really knowing what to say. So you just nodded at him that you are listening.

"You saw your Mom? She is here?" He nodded his head at this. His hand pushing his hair back. You didn't know why. But you thought that you understood him. His pain. It is the same as yours. "So that's why you came behind me." You said understanding his actions. "You are right. That is the same in my case." You said, fidgeting with the leather which was wrapped around the handle of your sword. Now feeling much at ease to talk to him. Something, you don't know what. But you felt like you could talk to him for ages and you won't be bored.

"I figured." He said. His eyes reflecting the twin moons. His hair looking so soft. His small nose and his rosy lips. He surely was beautiful. No. Stop.

"So, who is your mom. Did you saw her here? Or outside the palace?" You asked, clearly wanting to be distracted from your creepy thoughts.

"No. She was in the palace." He said leaning behind on the tree, near you. Your shoulders close but still at a decent distance. "She... is the Queen." He said causing you to choke on your saliva. But his face held nothing. You low-key expected him to flex but no.

"So you are the Prince?" You asked. Yes, dumbhead. If his mother is a queen then he is a prince. You mentally facepalmed at this.

"Am I supposed to be?" He said drawing something on the green sand below. Not at all interested in the thought of being a Prince. He doesn't seem happy about it. What am I doing... I came here to comfort her. And I am talking about me. He thought.

You both sat there. The silence was neither suffocating nor awkward. It was comforting...

But one thing you two didn't notice was the two curious eyes looking at you.

Two souls in one place, both hurting yet healing. He thought.

Ji Ah looked at her mother. Still beautiful just as she believed her to be. But the fact that she didn't look at her the first time she entered made her heart clench. Her mother told Luane and the boys to go. Ji Ah waited. For her to talk.

"Mom. What is happening?" But she heard Loeva breaking the ice first. Her voice containing confusion and her hands trembled as she fisted it so tightly. She looked way beyond frustrated. "Go to your room, Loeva." The Queen said sighing and looking the other side. Opposite of her daughter. Opposite of her love.

"No. You should tell me what is all this. What is going on around me? Why didn't you tell me anything about my father and this man claims to be him. Is it true mom? That I have a sibling?" She asked. Not being able to control the words leaving her mouth.

"Yes." The Queen said, still not looking at her husband. The knot in her throat made it hard to talk for her. She just hoped to vanish as thin dust, so that she would be invisible to them. This was overwhelming. Something she couldn't handle of. The greatest Queen of the whole kingdom. What is the use? Scared to face the reality. The reality is that she is meeting him again. She don't want to look at her daughter. She don't want to look at her husband's face. How can she after all she had done? She felt ashamed.

Have I chosen the wrong path?!

"Then why didn't you tell me, mom. This is not the first time I am asking you. Why didn't you tell me before?!" Loeva burst out, not being able to control the tears that formed in her eyes. True. How many times she asked, the Queen has always left speeches. The Queen doesn't have any word to say. "I would have. But that was not the right time Loeva." She said. Now a feeling familiar feeling of her heart clutching, it hurts. So much.

Have I chosen the wrong path?!

"It is not your mother's fault dear." He said. How long has it been? Hearing his voice. It was the same. Just as the first time. Why did I leave these beautiful things behind? Why did I leave my children behind? Why did I leave him behind?

Have I chosen the wrong path?!

"It is the time. The universe. We can't do anything about it. Even if we wanted to." He said, his voice was directed towards Loeva. Trying to calm her. And it did, but Loeva stormed out of the room, not knowing what to say or what to do. Am I supposed to be happy? She thought.

Ji Ah was quiet all the time. She was confident before. What happened to that confidence when she saved those people from Cronus. She wanted to say something. Anything, to make sure that her voice was still there. But she can't let the words out. Huh. Dealing with hundreds of kids is easier than this. She thought.

"How are you doing, mother." She asked when she finally found her voice, slowly observing the queen's face.

"I'm fine." She said. Her voice was not stable as it was before. She could say that her mother was on the verge of breaking down. So she did. She did what she thought was the right thing to do. She took slow steps towards the Queen. When she was directly in front of her, she wrapped her arms around her.

Inez didn't know what came over her. She needed this. And somehow Ji Ah noticed that she needed that. She let out the tears that were blurring her vision. She wrapped her arms around her daughter. Holding onto her as if she was the last piece of hope, in a land of hopelessness. She cried silently, on the shoulder of her daughter.

Ji Ah let her go and looked at her mother's tear-stained face. She had no idea how much her mother must have gone through. She held both of her hands, sending comfort in every way she can. Because she understood. She did really.

"How were you?" The Queen asked her. Observing her daughter, she has grown beautifully. All the three of her children.

"I am good." She said with a pause. Her eyes looking at her father. "You should talk." She whispered to her mother and signaled her head towards her father. Ji Ah can't help but think that they were still those high school children who had a crush on each other but were afraid to talk.

"But before that, where is Jimin?" She asked. Oh god. She forgot about her brother at this reunion. "He is safe. I...talked to him." She said, her pink eyes deep in thought.

"I should go to him, then." Ji Ah said, nodding at both her parents.

Loeva ran out of the room. Feeling helpless.

Should I be happy about this and play Ring-A Ring-A Roses with them. Hell no. She ran through the huge hallways blindingly only to hit her head on something hard.

"Aahh." They both fell rubbing their foreheads. "Calm down, woman. These are not your school corridors to run around and play." He said rubbing his forehead and trying to get up. "You should have seen where you were going, yoongles." She said while dusting her dress. But the windshield wiper laugh got both their attention.

"You." He said pointing at Loeva. His laughter, blocking his words. "Loeva you are the most clumsy person I have ever seen." He said holding his stomach and wiping the invisible tears.

"You can't stop being dramatic for a second, can you Jin?" Loeva said narrowing her eyes at that purple head who in return gave a defensive look. They are the only people who made her feel good.

"Hey. Are you all not hungry?" Hoseok asked from behind Jin. He looked really tired. Yeah. It is not easy to handle all the humans brought here. That drains a lot from him. "Hey, where are your animal and that pink-haired guy," Loeva asked, Hoseok's face paled at this. How will he say to her that the pink-haired guy is supposed to be her own blood? Her brother.

"They went to take a stroll in the palace," Hoseok said with a sheepish smile, looking at Seokjin for help.

"Let's go and eat come," Seokjin said dragging a protesting Loeva and a willing Hoseok in both his hands.

"I am feeling left out you know," Yoongi grumbled, nevertheless followed them.

His sword was moving back and forth, piercing through the wind. His blue hair shining in the moonlight, anyone could tell that he was angry. On who?

On himself.

But does he had a choice though? He was not sure whether what he did was right or not. But there was no choice. Not even a single one. If there was, he wouldn't have hesitated to pull you out of this misery. To keep you all to himself. Your eyes which looked at him painfully, he couldn't erase that image. No matter how many times he tried.

His heart clenched in the thought of you hating him. But that is what exactly I have done right? This is the only way. The only way to keep you safe. The only way to keep you alive.

He swung his sword so fast that it slipped from his hand and fell on the soil. His always glowing blue eyes, now glowing by the moisture in them. No. Idiot. No. Don't cry. Don't be weak again.

Jungkook was looking at him. That was what he always did. But that was not what he always wanted. Taehyung started pushing people away after that incident. Cold and distant. That is how he feels about Taehyung, but... no. He is not like that. He knows about his friend and so badly wanted to pull him out of this agony. So badly wanted to comfort him.

If only there is a way...
