Wedding preparations started early in the morning. Everyone was up and busy with the preparations. Siddant walked downstairs to meet Saakshi. He couldn't sleep a wink last night. Feeling disturbed with her words and her tears as well.

"Annaya...hang these flowers there"Ana said handing over the garland and flowers to Anirudh.

"You serious? I'm I a servant? Why are you making me do all these stuffs?"he kept a sulking face

"Because it's your brother's wedding. Stop over acting and do your job"

"Arey why should I do it?  Ask Annaya to do it. He's taller than me"he excused himself.

"Anirudh! Can you please help me with these flowers?"Subha asked coming inside the living room. His face lighted up like a bulb.

"Of course"he said and walked towards her making Ana open her mouth wide. She gazed at Anirudh with her hands on her hip.

Siddant found everyone busy with their jobs. His eyes furiously searched for Saakshi.

"You know what I'm actually taller than Siddant Annaya... I was the tallest amoung all my classmates"Anirudh said hanging the flowers in the pillars

"Really?"Subha asked while she was holding the ladder and he nodded smilingly.

"Subha... please come and help in the kitchen"Lakshmi called out to her

"Coming aunty"she nodded. "Ana please hold the ladder. Else Anirudh will fall"Subha said and Ana nodded. Walking upto to them.

"Hey no no.. I can balance myself so well"he said. Subha Smiled at him and walked to the kitchen.

"Let me see how well you can balance yourself"Ana said and left the ladder making Anirudh fall on the ground. She bursted out laughing and Anirudh glared at her. He screamed like a small puppy who got hit by a car.

"You little devil I'll kill you"he screamed and got up in his feets. She showed him her tongue.

"I'm not going to do it anymore"he held his hip and walked to the kitchen.

"Hello sir.. that's kitchen not your room"Ana said

"I know... just shut up and do your work"he frowned.

"I was just jocking"ana sighed and found Siddant looking around the room.

"Annaya.. what are you doing right here? Come and help me"she dragged him to the pillar.

"I was searching for someone Ana"he excused

"We have to leave for temple after this. Please help me with this flowers na"she said and he nodded. He climbed the ladder and arranged the flowers.

"There....left ...no I think right..umm"ana said and Siddant glared at her.

"Okay Mouth zipped.Wait... I have to get few more flowers. Ill come in a minute"she said and looked around. Found Saakshi coming inside the living room.

"Hi Saakshi Akka"ana called out to her. Siddants eyes immediately fell on her. She smiled at ana.

"Can you please hold this ladder for a minute. I will come soon."ana said and Saakshi saw Siddant. On top. He was staring at her.

"I have some.. work Ana"she said and he saw her sweating.

"Just a minute. I'll come back soon"ana said and Saakshi had no option. She walked to the ladder and held it tightly. Ana left to bring the flowers. Siddant arranged the long garlands.

He finished it quickly so that he can talk to her. When he was done he got down from the ladder. Reaching the last step he slipped and fell on her. He caught hold of her waist and they fell down together. Saakshi opened her eyes wide and found herself in the floor. His head buried in her neck. His lips touching her skin making her shiver. Her body felt numb. The flowers from the basket where scattered over the floor.

Others from the kitchen ran to the living room hearing the sound. And found Siddant above Saakshi. Anirudh and Subha rushed to help them.

"Saakshi you okay?"Subha asked and she nodded.

Siddant got up from the ground and looked at her. He could see her eyes welled up again.

"Excuse me"she said and rushed upstairs to the room. Making him sigh. Anirudh saw Siddants eyes following her till she reached her room.

The family decided to visit the temple. Siddant was waiting near the car and found Subha coming along with Saakshi. His breath flattered when he found her draped in a saree. She saw him and and grew restless again.

"Hey Subha...you can come with me in my car"Anirudh jumped in between the ladies

"It's okay Anirudh I can go with Karthik"she said

"He's going with your parents and even Ana had joined him. So you can come with me"

"Okay fine"she smiled.

He smiled back and grabbed the keys from Siddant.

"Nandu?"

"I'll drive"he winked and four of them got inside the car. Anirudh drove the car continuously talking to three of them. Mostly Subha. While Siddant was stealing glances of Saakshi from the mirror. She kept looking outside the window with a blank face. Praying to all the god's to keep him away from. Else it's going to be difficult for both of them.

Anirudh didn't fail to notice a silent Siddant. Who answered in monosyllables for everything they asked. He also saw him looking at Saakshi through the mirror.

They soon reached the temple. Washing their feets and hands they walked inside and prayed. Taking rounds.

"God...why did you send him into my life again? Just now I was healing... I was gearing up for a new life. You brought him again in front of me. I know I lied to him. I send him away from my life. But eyes don't lie. Every time I face him I'm going weak. But this can never happen... I just want to get myself out from here. From his life and never come in front him. Please give me some strength"Saakshi prayed silently

"The moment she told me to go out from her life. I did. She never loved me. But still... I can see her struggling to herself. She's definitely hiding something from me. Is it guilt or something else? Why is she pushing herself away from me. I want answers to all this. I believed that she got married and she's leading a happy life. And that's why I decided to start a new life for myself and agreed when Amma asked me to get married soon. But definitely she's not happy. I can see it in her eyes. Whatever it is. Please help me to know the truth God. A part of me still wants her back in my life"Siddant prayed and turned to look at her face. She had tears rolling down her cheeks.

After the prayers they served food to the people residing. Siddant found Saakshi smiling. When she served to the small children. That was enough to make him feel better. He knew Saakshi won't talk to him unless he does something.

"Hi Subha"

"Hi Siddant"Subha said washing her hands.

"I'm sorry.. I couldn't talk to properly yesterday"he said and she walked besides him.

"It's okay. I know that you were tired"she smiled

"So what are you doing?"Siddant asked.

"Would have stayed jobless if Karthik wouldn't have forced me to join his company"she giggled making him smile.

"So is Saakshi also working under you?"he asked.

"Yep.. she's my school mate and we bumped into each other after so long. She did MBA from London. Karthik was so impressed by her work"Subha said and he nodded.

"When did she actually join your company?"he asked

"Probably six months back I guess. Why?"she asked and he shook his head

"Is she married?"he asked and she stopped. Looking at him.

"For what?"she asked with a teasing smile.

"Please don't take me wrong...I was just.."he scratched his nape and she laughed.

"It's okay...well she isn't married"she said and a big sigh escaped Siddant mouth

"Who isn't married?"Anirudh asked walking in between.

"Nothing Anirudh. Siddant was just asking about Saakshi. Anyway... I'll catch you both later. Bye"she walked towards Karthik leaving them behind.

Anirudh could see Siddant smiling. Looking at the ground. He was relieved that she wasn't married.

"Hello? What happened?"Anirudh asked and Siddant shook his head.

"Let's go"he walked away. Anirudh narrowed his eyes.

"Something is definitely going on in his mind which he is hiding from me. How long will you escape? Detective Anirudh on duty"he said raising his collar and walked behind Siddant.

It was by evening the family returned back to the house. Exhausted with the day. Saakshi walked upstairs to her room. Finally she was feeling all peaceful. Subhas family was treating her like their own daughter. She was getting love which she lacked all this while. Which she never got from her so called family. The only thing which kept her all disturbed all the while is Siddants presence. She didn't knew how long she's going to escape from him.

Her thoughts got disturbed when she was dragged into Siddants room. He pinned her to the door making her eyes wide open.

"Sidd..ant... what are you..."

"Oh..so you know how to talk. You are not dumb I'm I right Saakshi?"he asked.

She lowered her head and wriggled in his hold

"Please Siddant... just let me go"she pushed him away and turned to leave. He held her wrist and pulled her closer. Making her land in his chest.

"Why...why are you doing this to me Saakshi? Why don't you just open your mouth and speak. You already made me go through so much. Just Break the silence"he said

She kept mum. Looked at the ground. He cupped her cheeks. She looked into his eyes

"I let you go because you asked me to. But I know that you were just lying. You love me and I know that. Just say...tell me the truth"he said again

"Siddant please.."tears rolled down her cheeks. He made her look into his eyes and their lips touched. He kissed her. Saakshi closed her eyes absorbing the moment. She kissed him back saying how much missed him. He held her head from behind while his other palm rested on her cheek. She clutched his shirt in her fist.

Few minutes later. Her eyes wide open when she realised what she did. He pulled back for breath. Tears rolled down her eyes and he wiped it off.

The door opened quickly revealing Anirudh. Both broke apart while Saakshi stood frozen. Before he could say anything Saakshi ran outside the room and Anirudh could see her tears. He looked at Siddant questioningly. Who was still breathless.

"So..can I get a explanation? What's happening?"Anirudh asked.

"Nothing.."

"Stop lying. I've been noticing you from the time we came here. Yesterday night you were talking to her in the garden"he said and Siddant looked at him shocked.

"Nandu?"

"Don't hide from me. Tell me what's happening?"

"Nandu listen..."

"I said I want to know"he said firmly. Siddant nodded. Looking at the ground. His mind drifted back to memories.
