Hoseok was sitting in his study room, the necklace still held in his hand as he looked to be in deep thoughts.

The door knocks and his right hand man enters. J-hope looks up at him and blinks to clear his thoughts.

His man, bows and walks to J-hope with the file. He slide the file over to J-hope on table and tales a step back with hands in front.

"Boss, the file you ordered."

J-hope hums and glance at the necklace before he opened the first drawer of his desk and placed the necklace above the files placed there and close the drawer. He looks up at his hand.

"How's the boy doing?" He asks.

"His condition is same. The boy is unresponsive and staring at the ceiling with hooded eyes. The nurse has put him on IV for nutrients."

J-hope nods. "Okay, you can leave." The man bows and left.

Once left alone, J-hope opened the file. And read the profile.

J-hope turned the next page, containing whole of taehyung's life, all the institutes from where he studied from. The next page contain whole achievements taehyung has achieved.

And to say J-hope was beyond impressed is wrong. Hoseok felt another spark shines somewhere in him as he turned the next page and taehyung pictures appear, ranging from his childhood pictures to his youth, achieving awards, graduation pictures to different functions.

He also saw the picture of 16 year old taehyung holding his younger brother and both crying. It was the funeral of their parents and it was taken by media.

But, what Hoseok didn't failed to notice was the sadness and fading smile along the growth.

Nevertheless, Hoseok turned the page And it was then, that Hoseok eyes fell on a specific pictures where taehyung was smiling brightly and besides him, it was her. Ara.

Hoseok gasp as his shaking hands go for the pictures containing a smiling Ara in them.

Tears pooled in his eyes as his hands traced the smiling face of Ara and taehyung.

"What have I done?" He whispered.

"Oh God. What have I done." His hands reached to grab his own hairs as he pulled on them.

"I- I broke the promise, how could I? I broke the promise made with own person who believed in me. Oh God..." He palmed his face, too ashamed and regretful.

As the flashback runs through his head.

Flashback:

A 13 year old young boy with busted lip and blue eye was sitting on the pavement when two foot stop in front of him.

The boy, who was apparently Hoseok looks up to find it's a young girl younger than him, around 10 or 11 years old.

"Oppa? Are you okay?" The young girl with two ponytails asks.

Hoseok stare at her emotionlessly. He has fought with some bullies in the school and won, unfortunately the principal complained to his abusive orphanage headmaster who beat the shit out of him and throw him out to fend for the night.

"Go away. Your parents must be worried about you." And he looks down again. He was still in his uniform that was dirty and bloodied.

But, the young girl was stubborn and sat besides him. Hoseok frowns at her but stayed quiet.

"It's okay. My parents won't mind me being late for a few hours. Furthermore , you look lonely and no one should be alone especially when they are hurt!" Here. I have this bandage!" Hoseok watches as the girl takes out a small cartoon bandage and place it on hoseok's palm, before she looks up with a cute big smile
But then he remembers something and gasp. "Oh! That's remind me, my name is Ara. Jeon Ara. I am 11 years old. What's your name?"

Flashback ends.

Hoseok chuckles through tears as he stared at the picture. Ara was such a sweetheart and kind since childhood. Hoseok remembers that after that day, Ara comes to visit him very often. She brings homemade food for him, afterall he was a very troubled child and hates everyone but Ara. She was and is likes his sister, his child. Even after knowing that Hoseok has joined a gang, Ara still treated him as her oppa. Hoseok remembers how heart broken and sad she was when her parents died and it was then, Hoseok promised himself that he would never let his child cry again. And to keep his promise, he gifted that necklace to Ara.

He never met Suran, just know that Ara has a sister who has a lover and cares of her lover's brother, which is a reason that Ara loves alone and has only Hoseok with her. It was proud moment for Hoseok to know that he was the one that his child need comfort from.

He remembers, oh yes he remembers like it was yesterday, how much his child was happy. About Ara telling him about taehyung. How much she adores him and how much she loves him and how much he loves her. And how much he makes her happy.

The smile fades from Hoseok face as the happiness replaced with sadness.

He remembers, yes he remembers the burned body of Ara. As he took her body in his hands.

Flashback starts:

Hoseok was with his gang, when one of his man, comes in hurry and told him about Ara. Hoseok felt his world stops as he immediately runs outside, along with his gang. He drives fastly to the sea side where Ara body was dumped, in a marvelous Manor.

From the gate of beach, candles started. A path of candles that lead to Ara's body, that was surrounding by many other candles lighting his burned body.

It was like, Ara body was waiting for someone to receive. Like, her body was a warning to someone. Welcoming someone/ everyone to tell her tail of horrible sadness.

Hoseok felt the world skipping from under his feet as he walks slowly through the candled path to Ara's body that was placed between many candles, like a fallen angel.

If it wasn't for Ara's body, the pathway looks to much romantic, with full moon, sea and candles.

A strangled scream left Hoseok mouth as he falls on his knees near Ara's body. Ara burnt body was wearing a whole white gown- wedding gown and veil. Her burned hands placed on her stomach over the white gardenia bouquet, like a beauty sleeping.

Gardenia- Ara's favourite flowers.

With shaking hands, Hoseok held Ara's body and attach it to his chest as he finally broke down.

After hours spent. Finally Hoseok calms down and looks at his right hand man with murderous look.

"Who dared to do this?" He growled.

"Min Yoongi. The owner of August Min tower."

Flashback ends.

It was that day, Hoseok promised to take revenge on yoongi, after all, first it was Their father who took his family away from him and finally when he got a new family, it was taken away from him as well. And so, he worked day and night. And to take revenge on Min family, he goes on with the plan and kidnapped and torture the younger brother of yoongi and favourite son of Min father.

But, what he didn't know was that the person he was torturing was the person his Ara, his child, cherishes the most and was also the victim.

Anyways, two more chapters to go for this book to end. There will be two books.

In first book: it was a filler with damage.
And I'm second book: the past will reveal and the damage recovery will happen.

Although, I haven't decided, but what type of ending would you guys want?
