Roxie's POV

"Ready to see the blushing bride, ladies?" Miranda asked the room as I stood right outside. They all had their hands over their eyes waiting to see me as they yelled their impatience. I walked in and gave Jedrek's mom a single nod.

"Okay, open them, ladies," she commanded. I swear my eardrums were going to rupture from their piercing screams, but my face morphed from nervousness to happiness as my bridesmaids surrounded me and showered me with words of praise.

"You're the most beautiful bride!" Ivy insisted, tears gathering in her eyes as she spoke. I hugged her tightly, mindful of her big belly.

"Alright, they're all ready and waiting-" Jedrek's dad started to say but stopped the minute his eyes landed on me.

"Oh, Roxie," he sighed. I bit the inside of my cheek to keep from choking up as he pulled me into a warm embrace. "You are the most beautiful bride I've ever laid my eyes on. My son is the luckiest man," he murmured in my ear. I thanked him quietly before pressing a kiss to his cheek.

"Shall we?" he asked, gesturing his arm out for me to grab onto. I nodded and accepted the offer, allowing my bridesmaids and maid of honor to exit the room first. They all paired with their partners in the hall right outside the church doors. The doors opened and they made their way into the room one by one followed by the ring bearer. Miranda set Adelaide down on the ground and handed her the basket with flower petals. I could've cried at how cute she looked in her dress that matched mine. Being one-year-old now, she was able to walk just fine, but Miranda was right next to her just in case.
