Will Love last?
The track that was hated by everyone.... Yes The press conference.
Betrayal - a small word, but its impact can shatter lives and relationships. Riddhima's world was no exception. After braving countless obstacles, she finally arrived at the VR mansion, seeking solace and answers.
Her mind still reeled from the events in Manali. Memories of that fateful night lingered, etched in her memory like a scar. She had shared a passionate night with Vansh, her husband, in the hotel room. But when morning dawned, he vanished.
Panicked, Riddhima questioned the hotel staff, only to be met with bewildering responses. "You checked in alone, ma'am. There's no record of anyone accompanying you." The words cut deep, like a knife twisting in her heart.
How could Vansh erase their intimacy, their connection? Had it all been a lie? The anguish and confusion swirling within her threatened to consume Riddhima.
As she stepped into the VR mansion, Riddhima steeled herself for the unknown.
Riddhima's eyes widened as she navigated through the sea of paparazzi. Flashes blinded her, and the cacophony of questions assaulted her ears. Amidst the chaos, she spotted Vansh Raisinghania, her husband, standing confidently.
His gaze met hers, but his eyes remained emotionless, unaffected by her disheveled appearance. Riddhima's heart sank, anticipating another blow.
Vansh began speaking, his voice charismatic and smooth. "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for gathering here today. I know you're curious about this press conference. Allow me to introduce the love of my life, my wife..."
Riddhima's heart skipped a beat as Vansh's eyes locked onto hers. A smile trembled on her lips, hoping for redemption.
"...to the world," Vansh concluded, his gaze shifting past Riddhima.
Her smile froze as Vansh reached for Ahana's hand, leading her onto the stage.
"Meet my wife, Mrs. Ahana Vansh Raisinghania," he announced, beaming with pride.
The room erupted in a frenzy of camera clicks and questions. Riddhima's world crumbled, her heart shattered into a million pieces.
How could Vansh betray her like this? The memories of their night in Manali taunted her. Had it all been a cruel deception?
Riddhima's eyes met Vansh's, searching for answers. But his expression remained impassive, as if she meant nothing.
Riddhima's gaze burned with anguish as she beheld Ahana, resplendent in the lehenga Vansh had gifted her during Navratri. The same lehenga that once symbolized their love now mocked her, adorned on another woman.
"Is this your revenge, Vansh?" Riddhima's eyes accused, her voice silent but piercing. "For what I did in the past?"
The air thickened with unspoken words. Vansh's expression remained impassive, but Riddhima saw the faintest glimmer of satisfaction in his eyes.
Memories flooded her mind. She had confessed to Vansh how his love and acceptance had given her a sense of belonging, a family she had craved her whole life as an orphan. The title of being a Raisinghania had become her identity, her sanctuary.
Now, that very identity was being ripped away, replaced by Ahana.
Riddhima's heart bled, her soul shattered. She felt like an outsider, a stranger in her own life.
"Did our vows mean nothing?" her eyes pleaded. "Did our love mean nothing?"
Vansh's silence was deafening.
Today, Riddhima's usual fire was extinguished. She felt drained, exhausted from constantly proving herself, proving her love. The weight of her struggles bore down on her like a physical force.
If it were any other day, she would have stood tall, fought for her self-respect, and demanded explanations. But today, her usual defiance was replaced by a numbing fatigue.
As she gazed at Vansh and Ahana, Riddhima realized she had nothing left to give. No more arguments, no more tears, no more justifications.
"Why bother?" her weary heart whispered. "Why fight for someone who doesn't value me?"
With a heavy sigh, Riddhima turned away, her eyes casting a final glance at the life she thought was hers. She began to walk away, leaving behind the shards of her shattered dreams.
Each step felt like surrender, but also liberation. She was freeing herself from the toxic cycle of proving and seeking validation.
As she disappeared into the crowd, Riddhima whispered to herself:
"I deserve better. I deserve love that doesn't require proof."
Vansh's eyes narrowed, anticipating Riddhima's outrage. He was prepared for her fiery confrontation, ready to deliver the final blow. But instead, she silently turned away, disappearing into the crowd.
His shock deepened. Where was the fiery Riddhima he knew? The one who would fight tooth and nail for her love and identity?
He had expected her to question him, to demand answers. That was his plan – to tell her she was a stranger, to reinforce the lie he had fed his family: that Riddhima was an imposter, not the real wife.
Vansh's calculation had been precise: crush her spirit, erase her identity, and sever all ties. But Riddhima's unexpected departure left him off balance.
For a moment, he felt a flicker of uncertainty. Had he misjudged her? Had he underestimated her strength?
The thought was quickly replaced by annoyance. How dare she deny him the satisfaction of crushing her?
"Riddhima!" Vansh called out, his voice low but commanding.
But she was gone.
As the paparazzi disappeared, Vansh turned to Ahana, his expression cold and calculating. "Angre, pay her for her acting services," he instructed his trusted aide.
Ahana's eyes sparkled with excitement, her gaze locked onto the promise of wealth. This was what she had craved all along – a hefty sum to fuel her lavish lifestyle.
Vansh's voice dripped with disdain. "And then, throw her out."
Angre nodded, his expression impassive. "Consider it done, sir."
Ahana's smile faltered for an instant, realizing she was nothing more than a disposable pawn. But the allure of money quickly overrode her doubts.
"Thank you, Vansh," Ahana purred, her voice dripping with artificial gratitude.
Vansh's gaze lingered on her for a moment before shifting to Angre. "Ensure she doesn't bother me again."
With a curt nod, Angre escorted Ahana out of the hall, leaving Vansh alone with his family.
