"Hey, Dollar Biwi! What are you up to?" Vihaan said with a mischievous grin, his sudden appearance making Riddhima jump out of her seat.

She had been so engrossed in her work that she hadn't even noticed him walk in.

She glared at him, her eyes flashing with annoyance. "You scared me, Vihaan!" Riddhima exclaimed, her voice laced with irritation.

"Can't you see I'm busy?" She crossed her arms, trying to look stern, but Vihaan just chuckled and sauntered closer.

"Busy, huh?" Vihaan repeated, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "You're always busy, Riddhima. But I know you're not too busy for me."

He winked at her, and Riddhima felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment.

"Vihaan, stop it," she said, trying to sound firm, but her voice came out breathy instead. "I'm really busy, okay?"

But Vihaan just grinned and plopped down beside her, making her heart skip a beat.

"Shut up, Vihaan, and listen," Riddhima instructed, her voice firm but with a hint of sadness. "Today is Ishani's baby shower, and I want you to give these toys to her."

She handed him a bag filled with soft toys.

Vihaan's face scrunched up in distaste. "Eww, they're so old," he said, grinning mischievously. But Riddhima's expression turned stern, and she glared at him.

"Shut up, these toys belonged to my Vansh," she said, her voice cracking with emotion.

"And he wanted to gift them to Ishani's child. So, I want to fulfill his wish." A sad smile played on her lips as she remembered her, Vansh.

As Riddhima spoke, Vihaan's expression changed, and for a fleeting moment, his eyes betrayed a deep sadness.

A single tear escaped, rolling down his cheek, but he quickly brushed it away, trying to maintain his disguise.

Riddhima, oblivious to the true identity of the person standing before her, didn't notice the tear

. But as she looked into Vihaan's eyes, she felt a strange sense of familiarity, a sense of connection that she couldn't quite explain.

"Vihaan, are you okay?" Riddhima asked, her voice soft with concern. But Vihaan, still trying to maintain his disguise, just nodded, his eyes avoiding hers.

"I'm fine, Riddhima," he said, his voice a little gruff. "Just a little...touched by your sentiment." He forced a smile, trying to hide the emotions that threatened to overwhelm him.

Riddhima's eyes lingered on his face, searching for any sign of weakness. But Vihaan's mask was firmly in place, and she couldn't see beyond it.

"Okay, Vihaan," she said finally, seeming to accept his explanation. "Just be careful, okay?" She smiled softly, and Vihaan's heart twisted in his chest.

He nodded, still trying to process his emotions. Being so close to Riddhima, hearing her talk about him...it was all becoming too much to bear.

He needed to get out of there, to clear his head and remind himself of his mission.

"Ah, Dollar Biwi, it's going to cost 2500 rupees to deliver these gifts to Ishani," Vihaan said with a smirk, clearly enjoying Riddhima's frustration.

Riddhima's eyes narrowed, and she glared at him. "Saans lene ke bhi paise jod lo tum," she snapped, her voice dripping with annoyance.

Vihaan chuckled, clearly amused by Riddhima's sass. "Arre, Dollar Biwi, you're so feisty today," he teased, his eyes sparkling with mirth. "I love it."

Just then, Ishani burst into the room, a big smile on her face and a plate of pasta in her hand. "Bhabhi, see what I bought for you!" she exclaimed, not noticing the tense atmosphere between Riddhima and Vihaan.

As Ishani drew closer, Riddhima's expression changed, and she suddenly looked pale. She felt a wave of nausea wash over her, and her stomach churned.

"Excuse me," she muttered, her voice weak, and she quickly turned and ran towards the washroom.

Ishani's face fell, confusion etched on her features. "Bhabhi?" she called out, concern creeping into her voice.

But Riddhima was already gone, the sound of the washroom door slamming shut behind her.

Vihaan's eyes narrowed, his gaze fixed on the washroom door. A look of concern crossed his face, and for a moment, his mask slipped, revealing a glimmer of the man beneath.

Riddhima emerged from the washroom, a weak smile on her face. "Nothing to worry about, it's just morning sickness," she said, trying to reassure Ishani and Vihaan.

Ishani nodded sympathetically. "I know, Bhabhi. We're all excited about the baby. You're going to be an amazing mom!"

Vihaan, however, remained silent, his eyes fixed intently on Riddhima's face. His expression was unreadable, but Riddhima couldn't help but feel like he was seeing right through her.

"Ishani, you go and get ready. It's your baby shower!" Riddhima exclaimed, trying to sound cheerful despite her own morning sickness.

Ishani squealed with excitement, clapping her hands together. "Yes, Bhabhi! I'm so excited!" She rushed out of the room, chattering excitedly to herself.

Vihaan watched her go, a small smile on his face. Then, he turned to Riddhima, his expression serious. "You should sit down, Riddhima. You don't look well."

NOT TOO GOOD UPDATE
