Madalyn's P.O.V.

With me on the drivers seat of Optimus Prime's vehicle mode, he raced through the spiraling green and blue tunnel of the ground bridge. We on our way to Iacon, Optimus's home while leaving the Minicon & Predacon Faction Zone. With Iacon becoming corupted with the negative energy and dark energon, who knows what it will look like when we get there. But I was more worried about all of my friends that we left behind. First David, Grimlock, Bumblebee, Hotshot, Goldbug, and Selina, and now Najat, Ravage, Predaking, and Emanuel! It was only me and Optimus left. 

Madalyn: We can't just leave the others behind! 

Optimus: Don't worry Madalyn, it's up to Predaking and Ravage to look after them. They'll be fine. We must keep going!

Madalyn: I guess you're right, but I can't help but worry. They're my friends afterall. Well, let's get out of here and get this over with.

Optimus: Right. Hold on tight. 

Optimus accelerated through the tunnel of the ground bridge, passing through the exit. Once arriving, we discovered a completely run down, demolished city. Most of the streets were flowing with either regular energon and dark energon. The buildings around the city were almost completely destroyed. Most remain standing with huge holes and missing parts, the rest were merly burnt metal sticking out of the ground.

Madalyn: Holy crap! 

The sky was filled with dark clouds as purple lightning shot down from the sky, striking the city streets below. 

Madalyn: Optimus watch out for the lightning!

Optimus swiftly moved through the streets, dodging the lightning strikes as best he could. The smooth ride Madalyn seemed to enjoy just a few moments ago was now a terrifying off terrain roller coaster.

Madalyn: I sure hope you know what you're doing Optimus and where you're going.

Optimus: Judging by the terrain, we are entering the main streets of Iacon. Well, this new twisted Faction Zone version anyway. From what I can tell from its new surroundings it appeares to be a combination of Autobots and Decepticons. 

Madalyn: Are you sure?

Optimus: I cannot be one hundred percent certain, but it appears so. What was once Cybertron is now being destroyed from within, and in order to stop its destruction we must find Megatron.

With a loud screech, over a dozen vehilces came zooming towrds us. Some were black and purple sports cars while the rest were black and purple jets. They all transformed into their robot modes, transforming their hands into blasters and aiming them at us. Optimus skidded to a halt and transformed into his robot mode, holding me in his servo. 

Optimus: It's a whole army of Vehicons!

Madalyn: What are Vehicons?

Optimus: They are Decepticon drones designed by a Decepticon scientist named Shockwave. Their loyalty is to Megatron and him alone.

Madalyn: We're surrounded by them!

Me and Optimus looked aroun to see that more of them appeared behind us. We were completely surrounded by them and it seemed there was no escape in sight. 

Optimus: Megatron must have sent them to come looking for us.

One of them walked forward and aimed his weapon at us. Its purple laser charging inside the weapon.

Madalyn: Okay you creeps, game on. Ability card activate! Cyber Wall!

I summoned an ability card, tossing it int the air as an aqua blue energon shield  formed around me and Optimus, protecting us from the blaster fire coming from the vehicons. The shield then grew bigger, whacking the vehicons and sending them flying back, some were even completely evaporated. 

Optimus:Hang on Madalyn, this may be a little bumpy. 

Optimus ran forward, transforming his other hand into a blaster as he fired upon the vehicons that were getting back up. A few of them did, and transformed into their alt modes and chased us. The flying vehicons launched forward and hovered in the sky infront of us. Optimus stopped running and faced them, just as the ground units caught up. 

Optimus: This has gone long enough. This isn't a battle, so there's no reason to fight me. Now dispurse and make it quick. 

Before anyone could make a move, the sound of a tank engine alerted the group followed by a purple laser blast, striking the ground to the side sending in a splash of dark energon around the area. Optimus sheilded me from the substance as a purple Cybertronian tank soared through the air and transformed into its robot mode. He had a dark purple colour scheme with a single red optic, one arm on its left and a cannon for his right arm. 

He fully charged his cannon and fired it into the air. The blast exploded into the air like a firework and the blasts free fell to the ground and exploded like grenades. 

???: Dark grenades!

A large portion of the Vehicons exploded in a fiery blaze along with the grenades. 

Madalyn: What's going on Optimus?

Optimus: I'm not sure.

The lightning fired again as another Cybertronian mech appeared  from the clouds. He also had a purple colour scheme, but he had two red optics instead of one, and he had long white horns on his head. 

???: Dark Flame!

Purple flames formed on his servos as he fired them down to the ground, destroying the remaining Vehicon troopers that surrounded me and Optimus. 

Madalyn: Who are they?

Optimus: I-- I think I've met those two before.

The two mechs emerged before us, standing side by side, next to each other. The one eyed Cybertronian stepped forward, inclining his helm with respect. 

???: Welcome back to Iacon Optimus Prime. It has changed much sense you left. 

Optimus: S-Shockwave?

The second mech stepped forward, extinguishing the flames from his servos. 

???: It appears we have saved you from the Vehicons. Ah, ha, ha, ha, ha! How pathetic for a Prime. 

Madalyn: Optimus, you know these guys? I've never seen these two Transformers before.

Optimus: They are Shockwave and Cyclonus. They are two of Megatron's lieutenants.

Shockwave: I am thrilled that you still remember us after all these years Optimus Prime. 

Cyclonus: We'd thought we'd to beat you senseless for you to remember.

Shockwave: My friend seemed a little presumptuous when we saved you from the Vehicons.

Cyclonus: Yes, my motive was rather greedy. The only reason I saved you, was because I wanted you all to myself. You are history Optimus Prime!

Cyclonus sprang forward, he was moving so fast Optimus couldn't react quickly enough to dodge his attack. Cyclonus rammed into Optimus and the Autobot leader collapsed to the ground, his body dragging across it due to the massive force of the attack. He just stopped a few inches away from a stream filled with dark energon. I nearly fell off his shoulder during that blow. I was dangling over the stream, as I managed to pull myself up back onto his Optimus' shoulder.

Cyclonus: Now it's off to the Cybertronian Underworld for you Prime.

Shockwave: Good riddance. His presence here is most illogical.

Cyclonus & Shockwave: Darkness Rising!

The both of them fired a powerful attack from their weapons, aiming at Optimus and pulled the trigger. Purple streaks of light soared through the air, straight towards us. I shut my eyes and clutched Optimus' shoulder, waiting for the impact. 

???: Cyber Savior!

All of a sudden, a red streak soared out of a different energon stream and scooped up me and Optimus. The attacks from the Decepticons missed us as we soared over the once beautiful city of Iacon. The whip lash from the red light must have knocked me out. I'm not sure how long, but by the time I woke up, I found Optimus and I to be in a completely different part of Iacon. We were inside a large room, dodging by the structure of the roof it appeared to be underground. A dark energon waterfall was the way in and out of the room to the outside world.

Optimus was already awake, kneeling down in front of me and looking down with concerned optics. He acted like he was trying to wake me up for hours. Perhaps it wasn't an act and he really was trying to wake me up. I pushed my body off of the floor and stood back up to my feet slowly.

Optimus: Madalyn, are you alright?

Madalyn: Yeah but where the heck are we?

Optimus: It looks like an old energon reservoir. That energon has been coming down for a while. I'm not exactly sure how we got here.

Madalyn: I remember seeing a strange red light come out of the energon stream and lifting us up in the air. But who or what was that?

???: So Optimus, you finally came up.

Me and Optimus looked up to see a Cybertronian mech emerge from the shadows. He had a red, white, and black paint job, he was tall and by the sound of his voice he seemed to be of an old age. He had a wired like beard along the bottom of his face and he had two single black capes along his shouders and down across the back of his body. He carried a sheild with him as well. 

Madalyn: I-- I think it's an Autobot!

???: Forgive me but I didn't realize it was you making all of that noise back there. What if all of the dark energon and negative energy affecting the planet I thought it was another mindless Decepticon on the loose. 

The old Autobot stepped forward, kneeling down and looked at me, curiosity filling his optics. 

???: So this is the human I've been hearing so much about. I've never seen one before and I must say there's not much to look at. 

Madalyn: Wait, how come you're not affected by the dark energon or the negative energy?

???: Ah I'm too old for that. Besides, not all of the Transformers are infected by its effects. Especially ones who still have half a brain left like me.

Optimus: Sentinel Prime.... I can't believe I didn't recognise you. You saved us. Why?

Sentinel: I suppose I had nothing better to do. 

Madalyn: Thank you. I'm Madalyn by the way, and I suppose you already know Optimus.

Sentinel: Nice to meet you Madalyn. You may call me Sentinel Prime.

Madalyn: Wait.. you're a Prime?!

Sentinel: Don't let my age fool you, but I've still got it.

Optimus: Allow me to explain Madalyn. You see, Sentinel Prime was the commander of the Autobots before me. He was the leader of Cybertronian while I was still the data clerk named Orion Pax. He is one of the wisest of all of the Transformers. He knows everything there is to know about Cybertron. Sentinel Prime please tell us what has become of Iacon.

Sentinel: First of all, Cybertron continues to be corrupted. If it continues to do so, then the human world will suffer the same fate as Cybertron. 

Madalyn: That means we have to bring down Megatron! 

Optimus: What do we need to do?

Sentinel: You've witnessed the changes in our world, and what is happening isn't just the merging of the Autobots and Decepticon factions, oh no. Ever since our world and the human world crossed over into each other, they have taken each others charactieristics. For example, the formation of sky and land. 

Madalyn: My world is changing too. We've been getting strange weather all around the world that people thought would be impossible to occur in my or anyone elses lifetime. Like totally freaky winter weather in Hawaii and floods in Egypt.

Sentinel: In order to stop this choas, the Infinity Core and The Silent Core must be returned to Primus as quickly as possible. Then and only then will both our worlds return to normal. 

Optimus: Elita-1 possesses the Infinity Core and Megatron possesses the Silent Core. Elita is safe with us but I doupt Megatron will be as easy. This is our mission Sentinel. 

Sentinel inclined his head, deep in thought as he processed the situation. 

Sentinel: Then you must follow me. I will take you to Cybertrons Core. That is where Megatron is waiting. 

Sentinel walked forward, passing by me and Optimus as he stood before the waterfall of dark energon. He transformed into his robot mode, a miliatry fire truck. He turned on his engine and drove right through the waterfall. 

Madalyn: Wait, what would happen to me if I touch that stuff?!

Optimus lowered his servo in front of me, an assuring smile on his face. 

Optimus: Not to worry Madalyn I will protect you.

I stepped onto his servo and held on. His body shifted and changed as he transformed into his vehicle mode and I ended up in the drivers seat. Optimus drove straight through the waterfall, the dark energon pouring down on the Autobot like going through a car wash. 

The three of us emerged back into the city as Optimus followed Sentinel across a highway. We were now one step closer to finding Primus thanks to Sentinel's help.

But we were also a step closer to finding Megatron.
