David's P.O.V. 

Kato: Mistress Madalyn can you hear me?

A few minutes later after Elita-1's shield went down, Kato's voice could be heard through Madalyn's T-Tablet. It was now me, her, Emanuel, and Mia with our partners Grimlock, Optimus Prime, Predaking, and Elita-1. 

Madalyn: I'm here Kato, what's up?

Kato: Mistress Selina has defeated Airachnid with the help of Allie & AJ, plus Mistress Najat and Master Zach have beaten Jolt.

Madalyn: That's great! That's the best news I've heard all day.

Emanuel: Which means Laserbeak is still out there.

Kato: Master Iestyn is fighting him right now as we speak.

Optimus's P.O.V. 

Me and Elita's holograms were sitting on a ledge at the top of the CN Tower, looking out at the city view. 

Elita-1: I fear that soon Megatron will find me. Once he has the Infinity Core he will get rid of me. 

Optimus: What?

Elita-1: It doesn't matter to him that we used to be together back on Cybertron. 

Optimus: You two, liked each other?

Elita-1: This was before he introduced me to you. However once the war started and I learned of is true colours, I left him and joined the Autobots. Once he finds me, he'll get revenge on me for what I did to him.

Optimus: I suppose that makes sense.

Elita-1: I believe I lack the strength to battle him. Every time the Infinity Core inside of me emits some of its positive energy, my own life source is drained away. 

Optimus: Please, just hang in here Elita. Leave Megatron to us, we won't let him touch you. 

Elita-1: Thank you Optimus, but listen. 

Optimus: What's wrong?

Elita-1: If it looks like Megatron can't be stopped, like he is going to get to me, Optimus I want you to do it before he does.

Optimus: Wait, do what?!

Elita-1: I want you to take the Infinity Core before Megatron has the chance.

Optimus: Don't be foolish Elita!

Elita: But--

Optimus: I already possess the Matrix of Leadership inside of me. I worry that with both the Matrix and the Infinity Core inside of me, it may be too much for my Cybertronian body to handle. It's impossible! Why would you ask me that?

Elita-1: The reason I asked, was because it is you. You, Optimus Prime.

David's P.O.V. 

Kato beeped in a few seconds later, with a worried look on his face. 

Kato: I have bad news! I have detected Terrorhawk's life signal just off the coast of Japan. I fear that possibly Cyclonus and Shockwave can't be far behind. 

David: Oh no, grandpa! Let me go after Terrorhawk, Madalyn. 

Madalyn: Sounds like a plan to me. Good luck David.

David: Thanks, I'm going to need it. 

I ran out of the room, taking the emergency elevator down to the bottom floors of the tower. I then made my way outside to the emergency stair cases, and fired Grimlock's card out of my tablet, then bring out one of my ability cards. 

David: Ability activate, Copy Cat!

I tossed the card at Grimlock as he transformed into his robot mode. A replica of Optimus Prime's jetpack appeared on my partners back I as jumped into the air and landed on top of him. 

David: Set a course for Tokyo big guy.

Grimlock: You got it.

I was running across the stone wall near by grandfathers house, racing to get their on time when I spotted a very familiar boy walking along the road. He had dark skin, black hair, wore a orange baseball cap backwards, a red sweater with a black t-shirt underneath, jeans, and black sneakers. With him on his shoulder was a hologram of a Transformers. More specifically a Dinobot. 

Strika.

And there's only one person I know who owns a Dinobot like that. 

I jumped from the wall and hoped on a metal poll. 

David: You need to leave here. But if you decide to stay Corbin, you better be ready. 

Corbin: Whoa! I don't believe, after all these years I get to battle along side the one and only David! I'm so not worthy.

Strika: And I get to battle along side grandpa. 

Grimlock: What did you say Strika?!

David: Easy Grimlock. Focus on the task at hand. I don't know if you know this, but if we defeat Megatron when this is all over, this could be our last battle together. 

Grimlock: Don't worry about that David. We've got other things to do right now. I just want to quickly thank you for everything that you and your friends have done for us. 

David: No sweat Grimlock. Come on, we need to find my grandfather before Terrowhawk shows up.

Corbin: Incoming!

The four of us watched as a beaming red light flew across the sky and it came crashing down into the backyard of grandfathers dojo. But the crazy thing about it, was that when the light made impact, strange energon crystals began covering the walls and structures of the large dojo. Corbin panicked as the crystals were headed in his direction as he screamed and made a break for it. 

I jumped off the poll I was on just in time. The energon coursed through it as Corbin and I just made it out of the way. The two of us took a moment to catch our breath as Strika and Grimlock gazed at the sight.

Strika: The sky is freezing! The sky is freezing! 

Grimlock: It's not ice you block head. 

David: I recognize these crystals. They're energon.

Corbin: Then what the heck is energon doing to your place?

???: Ah yes, isn't it magnificent? 

We looked up into the sky to see a Cybertronian figure de-cloak itself, hovering in the air above as he looked down at us with his arms crossed. It was Terrowhawk. 

Grimlock: I should have known you'd cause this Terrorhawk. 

Terrorhawk: Nothing like a big entrance is what I always say. Now let's get down to business of annihilating you creeps. 

Me and Corbin aimed our tablets into the air, firing out our Transformers cards. The cards glowed as Grimlock and Strika emerged in their giant robot forms. 

Grimlock: I didn't think you'd survive our last battle Terrorhawk. I was certain you were finished back on Cybertron. 

Terrorhawk: You flatter yourself. Megatron wanted me to take a noise dive, and like the obedient soldier I am, I followed through. But now I only have one order to carry out; And that's to destroy you and all of the enemies of Megatron's cause! Once you're out of the way, the Infinity Core will be ours! Just try and stop us, if you can. 

Grimlock: You talk big, but can you--

Strika: Will you two please stop with the bickering and get this party started?! 

Out of annoyance, Strika went a head, firing a laser blast at Terrorhawk. But the devilish and clever Dinobot deflected the shot by using only his hand! 

Terrorhawk: Pul-lease! Don't waste your energy youngling, you can't hurt me.

Strika: Youngling?! 

Terrorhawk: Shadow In The Night!

Within a flash, Terrorhawk was completely out of sight. We looked left and right for him but we couldn't see him. 

Corbin: Where the heck did he go?

Strika: Hey come out of hiding! This isn't fair! 

Terrorhawk: Energon Missiles! 

I spun around to see Terrorhawk materialize behind us as he charged his hands and fired shards of energon crystals towards Grimlock. Luckily my partner dodged the attack but the structure behind him was now frozen solid. 

Great. Now more of my grandfathers place is a mess. 

Terrorhawk fired the shards again, this time going for Strika. She just barely dodged the attack, receiving a small flesh wound on her leg. She didn't flinch and kept on going, running towards him.

Terrorhawk: Heads up kiddo!

Corbin: Strika!

Terrorhawk fired at Strika again, using bigger shards this time. It wasn't helping that Strika was at first running for the Decepticon siding Dinobot, but now she was running straight for the crystals. She came to a ground digging halt as she prepared for impact. Only for Grimlock to swoop in front of her, deflecting the shards of his sword. 

Grimlock: Strika are you alright?

Terrorhawk: Now you're mine. Energon Cell!

Terrorhawk fired a strange looking orb up into the air above Grimlock. The orb exploded and streaks of energon fell all around him, taking the form of a cell. The streaks broke through roofs, walls, and the ground below my feet to form the cage as they hardened into crystal. 

David: Grimlock!

Grimlock let out a roar as he tried to smash his way out with his fists, but he barely made a tent. He tried his sword but it also wasn't working. 

David: Hang on, I'm coming for you. Ability card activate!

Just as I threw the card at the cage and was about to activate it, the card rammed right into the cage and was sent off in the opposite direction. The card couldn't penetrate the cage. 

David: What?!

Corbin: It didn't work!

The card flew down and struck the ground in front of me and Corbin, stabbing it like a knife. I growled as I shot a glare at Terrorhawk who was smirking at the sight. 

Terrorhawk: He's right. None of your ability cards will work against my cage. Don't even think about trying to gain up on me either. 

Strika: We'll get you out of there Grimlock!

Strika, me and Corbin all gained up together, heading towards the cage. Strika leapt high into the air, soaring towards him while me and Corbin climbed up the walls and roof of a nearby tower. But Terrorhawk saw through our plan. He sent a huge gush of wind towards us, blowing away Strika and nearly crashing into the tower. I saw an opening and went for it, leaping into the air towards Grimlocks cage, only to be blown away as well. I rammed right into Corbin and the two of us broke through the roof and fell straight down the tower. The two of us crashed through one more floor before hiting the floor of ground level. 

Everything was dark at first, followed by a high pitched noise in my ear and dust floating everywhere as we coughed. But it slowly cleared up as the two of us pushed each other up to our feet. I quickly took a glance outsite of the room to see if anything or anyone else was in the hall. Once the coast was clear, I closed the door and locked it just to be safe. 

Corbin: Where the heck are we?

David: My grandpa's dojo. Thankfully at this time of day he's long gone into the city. 

I walked over to a rack and pulled out a ninja clock, putting it on and slipping my battle gloves back on from my pocket. 

Corbin: What are you doing?

David: I've got to go back out there and rescue Grimlock. There's too much at stake to let Terrorhawk my only Transformer. 

I walked over to the door, unlocking is as I opened it. Corbin looked at me with fear as he reached out for me. 

Corbin: But what are you going  to fight with David? Not even you can take on a Transformer with just your bare hands. 

David: Don't worry about me Corbin. I'll find a way to get the job done. 

I slipped the clock over my mouth and over my head as I ran out into the hallway, finding my way to get back outside. 

David: Hang in there Grimlock. You've always been there for me when I needed you, now it's my turn to pay you back. I'll do whatever it takes to set you free.

I sprang up a staircase into a dark hallway. I saw a flash of light coming from the other side, followed by some shards. I jumped up, flipping upside down as I grabbed a hold of a support beam on the ceiling. Once the shards struck the ground, I let go and jumped back down. 

I looked up to see a small army of miniature versions of Terrorhawk. They were about the same size as me and their optics were glowing a bright yellow. 

David: Time to get busy.

The tiny Terrorhawks all fired energon shards at me, but I quickly dodged them swiftly with my ninja reflexes. I just hope all of that training with my grandfather pays off. I then sprang up into the air, and then one by one I punched and kicked each one out of existence. When a few of them tried to tackle me to the ground, I quickly moved out of the way, replacing the real me with a dummy. 

David: Hey guys!

They looked up in shock as they looked back and fourth between me and the dummy. I grinned at them as I ran circles around them, running faster and faster until a black circle surrounded them. I used the sound of my voice to catch them off guard, looking around desperately to find me. And that's when I made my move; I fired ability cards at them as they exploded in a ball of light, just like their buddies from before. 

Once I stopped running, another set of energon shards came my way. I jumped up to dodge them, but one of the crystals tore a huge chunk of my cloak off. Once I regained my footing, I tore the cloak off me, tossing it aside as another set of miniature Terrorhawks came my way. I was surrounded by them, and they were blocking the exit. Just when I thought this was going to be all over sooner than I expected, a small black ball bounced across the floor and stopped right in between me and the group of Terrorhawks. I watched as a small thread stuck out of it, followed by a flare that travel down along it. And that's when I realized what it was. I jumped back and took cover just as the bomb exploded, taking the Terrorhawks with it. 

Once the explosion was done, I stood back up and looked over at the exit to see Corbin emerge from the smoke, holding a bomb in each hand. 

Corbin: What do you think David? Did I nail them or what?

David: Corbin?! That was you who threw the bomb?

Corbin: What? Did you really think that I was going to stay behind and let you have all of the fun? I don't think so. Besides, I didn't really have anything better to do. 

I chuckled at the boy as I walked over to him, slapping him on the shoulder. 

David: Good timing Corbin. 

Once the two of us ran out of the room, there were more miniature Terrorhawks waiting for us. The swarmed the entire hall and the staircase that led to the next floor. 

David: Are you ready Corbin?

Corbin: Oh yeah!

The two of us charged straight at them as I dealt with the goons using my ninja moves, while Corbin dealt with them by using more of those bombs he found. All of them exploded in a burst of light as the two of us ran up the stairs and entered what looked like a bedroom. I spotted a doorway at the other end of the room and ran for it, pushing the doors open and came up into a balcony. We were right inside Grimlock's cage now, sneaking in through the bottom. 

David: Grimlock?

I looked near the roof to see a giant metal hand collapsed to the surface of the roof of the building. I recognized the paint job too. 

Corbin: Do you see them David?

Corbin followed my gaze to see Grimlock and Strika all beaten up. Grimlock layed back first on top of the tower right on the roof while Strika was at the top of the cage. 

Strika: I'm sorry... Grimlock.

Terrorhawk: Ah, ha, ha, ha, ha,ha!

The both of us looked straight ahead to see Terrorhawk staring right at us. 

Terrorhawk: Sorry boys, but you're a little late. I would have waited but I'm on a bit of a tight schedule. Besides, they were starting to annoy me. If you think you can save priecous old Grimlock, you are sadly mistaken. 

All of a sudden my mind flashed back to a couple of years ago. Back to the time when me and Madalyn were battling, and she made me realize what I was doing. We both went straight to the hospital to see my mom. And just before she went under, she gave me a present.

A Transformer.

Grimlock.

Tears were streaming down my face when I saw him that day. I was not going to let those tears seap down again. I raised my right leg, placing my foot on the railing of the balcony.

Corbin: David what are you doing?!

I lunged myself forward, soaring straight for Terrorhawk. Terrorhawk stepped to the side as I flew right past him into the air. 

Terrorhawk: I'll admit, I wasn't expecting that.

I landed on a tree branch and I launched myself right back at him, landing a hard punch to his forehead. He winced at the pain as he grabbed my leg but I kicked him in the face with my other leg, forcing him to release me as I back flipped onto the fence of the balcony, then jumped right back in for more. I slashed him right down his face and chest. After that attack, the line I made from the slash began glowing as he backed up a few steps, clutching his stomach. 

Terrorhawk: Impossible! He's just a mortal!

Corbin: I got your back David. Ability card activate!

Strika managed to push herself back up on her feet and got into position for the attack. Her hands lit up with green flames as she clapped her hands together and fired a huge blast at Terrorhawk. The blast struck him right into the ground and it continued to drag him across the yard. 

Corbin: Way to go Strika!

Strika: With you backing me up, we can't be beat!

Corbin: We make one heck of a team. 

As I flew through the air after making my last attack, I spun around and managed to grab a hold of the edge of the roof of the tower. I pulled myself up and came across Grimlock's body. 

David: Grimlock, are you alright?!

I ran over to his upper body, kneeling next to his head. 

David: Speak to me, open your optics, give me a sign! Anything!

A single tear escape my eyes as it raced down my cheek and it dripped down, splashing on Grimlock's face. All of a sudden, Grimlock started glowing, just like he did back in the Cybertronian Underworld.

Strika: David? What's going on with Grimlock?

Or... at least I thought Grimlock was glowing. I looked up to see that the light was actually coming from the distance. I glanced around the cage to see the crystals beginning to crack! Corbin was noticing this too, and judging by the look on his face, I had a feeling he knew where it was coming from. 

Corbin: Wait a second!--

The cage completly shattered around us as they crumbled into speks of dust. 

???: So what do you think?

I looked up to see a Predacon with a harpoon gun for a weapon and a teenage boy standing on the roof of the next tower over. The Predacon had the features of a sea creature with crab claws, dark pink optics, and a dark blue, purple, and crey colour scheme. The teenager with him had dark skin, brown eyes, a white sleeveless leather jacket with the Predacon logo on the back, black t-shirt, jeans, and brown boots.

???: My Blight's Blinding Harpoon ability can nuetralize any enemy ability cards in its way. I figured it might come in handy.

Corbin: And not a moment too soon Robert.

Grimlock:... D-David... I just k-knew you'd c-come back for m-me...

David: Grimlock!

With a wide smile on my face I watched as Grimlock slowly pushed himself to his feet, crouching down to his knees to make eye contact with me.

Grimlock: It's time to get busy.

David: Alright!

The six of us emerged from the towers and regrouped in the yard, staring down against Terrorhawk who was a few feet away from us.

Terrorhawk: Oh isn't this sweet. My little play pals want to have some fun!

David: Bring it!

Terrorhawk just chuckled as he turned invisible again. Both me and Corbin growled at the sight as we looked around for him.

Corbin: Aw man, not again!

Robert: That Dinobot is really starting to annoy me. Ability card activate, Shining Light!

Robert tossed the ability card at Blight which took the form of a harpoon and aligned itself in the gun. Blight aimed it into the air and open fired. The harpoon exploded in a burst of light, and Terrorhawks form could be seen to the left of the group.

Terrorhawk: What the?! How did you do that?!

David: You're pathetic Terrorhawk. It's show time Grimlock!

I jumped into the air, back flipping as I brought out my ability card and flashed it into the air as I landed on Grimlock's shoulder.

David: Ability card activate! Sword of Destiny!

I tossed the ability card at Grimlock and it took the form of the handle of a sword. Grimlock took it in his hand and there was a spark. A huge blaze shot itself out of the handle, taking the form of a blade.

Grimlock: So long Terrorhawk! Me Grimlock no bozo, me king!

Grimlock charged full speed at Terrorhawk, his opponent doing the same. The two crossed paths with each other, each delivering one blow as they passsed each other. Grimlock stood firm, while Terrorhawk began glowing. His scare that was there from my attack began glowing again, but this time it spread and covered his whole body.

Terrorhawk: No! This can't be happening! No, Nooooo!

And then, Terrorhawk exploded into a million pieces, his ashes blowing in the wind as the energon crystals that surrounded my grandfather's dojo melted away.

Robert: Man was that ever close. Just lucky for you guys I showed up in the nick of time.

David: Thanks for your help Robert.  

Corbin: You did it David! You and Grimlock defeated Terrorhawk! You guys were totally awesome!

Strika: I am so proud of you Grimlock!

Both Strika and Corbin ran forward and gave their heroes a hug, the two receiving this affection both didn't know how exactly to react. 

Grimlock: It was nothing Strika, really. 

Robert: Hey what about me? Didn't anyone see how amazing I was?

David: Of course. You and Blight did free Grimlock after all. 

Strika: Yeah, we appericate the help. Now can you can it?!

We all laughed at the bickering between Robert and Strika, even Blight was dragged into it by his human partner. I chuckled as I turned around and faced Grimlock who knelt down in front of me, placing his sword on his back. 

David: Looks like we survived another one, didn't we?

Grimlock: Yes it appears so. If you didn't come back for me it could have ended much differently. 

David: And I'd I do it again, anytime and anywhere.
