The last thing I saw in the club before being dragged out was Luther facing Green eyed man with a glare.

I looked up to see who was dragging me out and you won't believe its

freaking Eric!!

Although I am glad that it wasn't one of the bad guys like that green eye Guy's men or something..

I tried releasing my wrist out of his grip but he doesn't budge as he just kept walking towards a Sienna car, I guess thats what the other guards who didn't ride with Shawn and I, rode to the club.

I kept trying to free my wrist off his grasp till he said

"Lena, I would advise you stop trying to get off my hold on you"

Who gave this fool the right to call my NAME!!!

And he is calling me 'Lena' like he used to.

"Who gave you permission to call me by my name?? You work for me, remember?" I yelled in annoyance.

Eric opens the car door and shoves me in as he says..

"Really,Lena?"

"Do not call my name you pig!! Its Ma'am or Madam and stop talking to me like we are pals, you fool!!" I yelled

Eric paused,looked at me and with a sigh he said

"Okay, I deserve this. But please allow me explain myself to you.
I am really sorry for cutting things off with you the way I did. I was just mad that day because I got a really terrible news and I couldn't be with you anymore because of it. I did not break up with you because I stopped loving you.. I broke up with you because I had to. And yes, I ended it with the worst and maybe dumb breakup plan.. Am just sorry.. Lena. I wish I could explain things with you but I can't.. " He concluded.

"Fuck You Eric!" I spat

"Com'on baby, I know I messed up but please stop giving me cold shoulders it hurts me in ways you don't know" he said gloomily.

"Well, I would just continue with the cold shoulders and hope you feel how much heart damage and pain that came with how you dumped me!!" I yelled,getting more outraged by every passing minute.

"I am really sorry Lena" he pleaded.

"Give those apologies to the dogs!" I spat and just then, I heard gunshots.

My heart skipped in fear, as I scurried deeper into the car and then it dawned on me.

"Where is Shawn?" I asked amidst fear.

Eric scoffed and said

"He should be fine"

Wait he scoffed?

"How did you end up being a guard,anyway? I thought you had dreams to be a computer engineer..?" I asked curious all of a sudden because I know Eric's parents got money.

"Shits happen" he replied curtly

"Did your gang life have anything to do with your decision on being a guard? Plus won't you go to school anymore?"I asked.

Eric was in a gang back then in school,they did not participate in Violent activities, atleast none that I know of. What I know is the gang wasn't a made-in-school gang. More like a collection of male childhood friends coming together to form a gang. I don't really know what the gang was made for or its activities.

"Why do you care anyway? Oh right you don't care.. So drop the questions, Lena!" He said in exasperation.

"What did I tell you about not calling me Lena? Its Ma'am or Madam! and you dont get to call me Lena anymore, its actually Selena! And If you dont want to lose your job, you better stop calling me by my name like we are friends, because,we are not." I said authoratively so he doesn't feel like I care why he took a guard job.. I am just curious.. Thats all.

"Sorry" he muttered

"Good,Have you gotten anything from the other guards?"

"They would be out soon.."he paused and bent his head like he was listening to something from an iPod and he said.

"She is with me Sir.... Okay, I would  bring her to the car"

"Was that Shawn?" I inquired

"Yes... ... Ma - d - am" he said, like it was hard to say 'Madam'(eye rolling with a smug look right now)

That's how its done baby!!

I wonder where she has been...

We Walk towards where Shawn's ride was parked and relief washed me on the sight of a flawless Shawn.

I ran towards him and gave him a heartfelt hug.

"I'm so glad you weren't hurt"I muttered

"I am Glad, Luther recognized Giovanni from The Russo's Mafia family before he could harm you. I won't have forgiven myself if something bad had happened to you. We have to be extra careful now, The Russo's are now in Nigeria and they would come for you. " Shawn said as we stepped into the car and rode off.

Luther and Femi(being the driver) rode in the same car with Shawn and I, while the other guards rode in a separate car.

"I heard gunshots from the club"I  said

"Dont worry, the bullet didn't hit anyone"he said

"Thank God"

"Yea, pass me your Phone, please?"he asked and I gave him my phone.

"I don't know how to explain this but you would have to go off Social Media for a while" he said and threw my phone out the car's window...

Wait!

What in the hell???

"Shawn What the fuck was that all about?" I yelled.

"You would get a new one tomorrow, I don't know how they were able to track down your location but they did and it had to be because of that phone.. I can't risk it.. And Thanks to you! We can't keep staying in the mansion. They know you live there because you stay with me, which I am sure they found out via your constant Instagram Posts. I am sorry babe but you have to go away from the public eye for a while. Its for your safety..just try to understand" Shawn explained.

Silence..

All my head could grasp from what Shawn just said was...

"I think we shouldn't be staying together anymore.."I muttered

"What? No freaking way!" Shawn yelled.

"I have already made my decision and I would love to have Viktor's number. Its not safe for you with me around" I said firmly.

"I'm so not letting you stay on your own. You ain't safe!"

"And you ain't safe either,Shawn.. I am gonna risk losing you by staying around you.."

"As much as I want to be flattered that you don't want to lose me.. I can't let you face this alone and I can take care of myself" Shawn countered

"Shawn... I can handle this alone, then I don't get to be worried of losing you. I have Luther, I would be fine on my own. I can afford staying at my hostel room before I communicate with my father to know what's next. This is my problem, my misfortune and I won't let you ruin your so bright life because of my problematic life.."I said,trying to come out strong and make him see things from my perspective ...

"You just don't get it... I can't bear losing you either! I know we ain't a couple or anything but I just can't let you face this alone, The Russo Mafia family are really dangerous and if they are after someone, they see through with it and till we find a way to keep you safe from them, I'm not letting you go" Shawn said and my heart etched... No one has ever said 'I don't want to lose you' to me..

"Why do you care so much? I am nothing but trouble!
I could be the end of you...
Don't you see it?
All your life goals might be crushed and for what?
I am not worth it Shawn..." I yelled,trying to make him see that he has to let me go but he cut me short.

"But, You are worth it, Selena! Soooooo freaking worth it.."he said but I Cut in

"Why?!!!"

"Ain't it obvious?"he asked calmly

"What?"I asked between breaths

"I Love You Selena and my Life is nothing without you.. If you are gonna be the end of me then I would accept it without a second thought... You bring color and happiness to my life... How can I let myself lose that? Don't you see how precious you are? Don't you see how irreplaceable you are? If I let my self lose you, how do I find you? How do I get someone else like you? Its impossible... You are worth everything Selena, Everything... I am just a dark empty vessel without you.." Shawn said and my heart clenched

How do I respond to that..?

The car came to a halt.. I noticed quite a number of white guards, a number of pretty expensive cars parked at the garage and the house that stood before us was yet another Mansion..

"Mr Viktor Svyatoyvich is here" Shawn chipped in

"Okaayy-- wait..  What?" I stuttered

"Your father arrived Nigeria this evening..."Shawn answered, probably continued his explanation but I already tuned his voice out.

Now... How do I respond to that??

How am I supposed to react towards him..Towards... 'Viktor'...?

Wait!

Someone snap me out from this trance..

My actual.. Biological father?

If I had doubt's that all this were actually unreal...

This clears those doubts

And why didn't Shawn tell me about this before-hand?

Maybe because of how you are currently reacting? and going all Zombie mode..(eye rolling right now)

Then a Warmth filled deep voice broke me out of my trance..
