Temor POV

I am sitting in the living room waiting to see if Love will actually talk to me. It was her Dad's idea to let her see the baby first to soften her up. Apparently, it worked because I saw her walking in with Tyler.

I love seeing them together. I can't wait for us to have kids. She is going to be a great mom. Seriously, she is already a great mother. The way she is with Tyler, I can tell she loves him as if she gave birth to him. Love is amazing.

I know we still need to address what happened the other night, but I'm confident we can get past it. When she gets closer to me, I step to her and Kiss her forehead. " Hey, beautiful," I say, and she smiles at me. We are off to a good start. Sitting on the couch, Love jumps right in.

" I apologize for being violent with you and acting in a way that disrespected you and myself; nothing can excuse that behavior. I understand if you don't see me the same way, the girl you saw that night.....I thought I left her back home, I want to say that is not who I am, but in reality, that is a part of me."

She stops talking and is watching Tyler playing on his play mat. I know she struggles to make eye contact with me if she questions how I see her now.

"Mi Amor...look at me Sweetheart" she looks at me.

" Love, I apologize for not reacting to the situation in the right way. I need you to know that I love you, and I would never intentionally hurt you or embarrass you. We represent each other, and that's real.

I know my reputation isn't that great, but I have someone helping me become the man she deserves. From the moment I met you, you have always kept it classy. Even when you would get slick out your mouth, I say smiling, you still did it with class.

What happened the other night doesn't change how I feel about you, but I do see you in a different light."

Love's body tensed up, and she looked like she was fortifying herself to absorb a blow. I couldn't have her feeling that way, so I slid over to her and held her close to me as I continued.

" We are still young, we still have things to figure out, but without trust, we won't have a chance to create a life together. Can you explain to me why you didn't even question what was happening..... Why did you believe that I would take a chance knowing I have you and our son... cause he is yours too. Love, you know we're a family. When I'm away from home, I can't wait to get back to you. What makes you think I would throw it all away?"

" Do you really want to know? It's a long story?" she asked as she picked Tyler up and hugged him."

"Yes, I want to and I need to know."

"Fine, let me bring Tyler to my mother. I'll be right back." She comes back with two beers. Taking a sip of her beer, she asks,

" Do you want the G-rated or X-rated version of the story?"

" G rated please," and we both laugh...
