"That was Sam." Wes spoke from beside Aurora as she sat in front of Amber, stuffing his phone into his pocket.

"She's coming?" Amber asked in disbelief.

"Yeah." Wes said.

"Watch everything get worse." Amber said.

"I don't know, maybe it'll be good for Tara to see her sister." Aurora lowly said, glancing back at Amber. "I mean it has been 5 years."

"Listen, all I'm saying is, with everything going on right now. I think it's time we take our relationship to the next, most intimate level." Chad's voice rang in the King girl's ears, gaining her attention as he approached the group with his arm around his girlfriend Liv.

As the couple took a seat across from their friends, Aurora's eye quickly locked with the Meeks-Martin boy before she quickly looked down, wrapping her arms around herself.

"He wants me to accept his find my fam request." Liv explained.

"It's the smartest option with a would-be killer on the loose." Chad explained. "You know exactly where I am and I know exactly where you are."

"Aw you can stalk me like a jealous boyfriend." Liv said.

"And you can stalk me like a jealous boyfriend." Chad said, causing Amber to let out a gagging sound.

"Is this because you two aren't having sex yet?" Amber bluntly asked.

"You bring up a very good point." Chad said, pointing at the Freeman girl. "Not that I want to sound like a stereotypical jock trying to get into his girl's pants-."

"Great!" Liv said, cutting the boy off, kissing his cheek.

"Sounds like you guys are in it for the long run." Aurora said, sarcastically, locking eyes with the boy before looking back down.

"Don't do it, Liv." Wes spoke up. "There's a psycho out there. You make yourself harder to find. Delete social media, tape over your phone camera, disable GPS."

"Ah, yes, thank you very much, Edward Snowden." Chad said. "Actually, your mother just interrogated me about Tara's attempted murder, which was very fun."

That caused the group to turn their attention towards the sidewalk about 10 feet away where Officers Hicks stood with other Police Officers.

"I'm sure she's asking everybody. I'm, Ghostface is back." Wes said, causing all the blood in Aurora's body to drain as all the hair on her body stood up at the mention of the killer.

"The press still isn't saying Ghostface." Mindy said.

"My mom doesn't want to cause a panic." Wes explained.

"It'll get out by the second or third killing." Mindy said, looking around at the group.

"Jesus, Mindy, there wasn't even a first killing." Amber said, quickly sitting up straight. "Tara's alive."

"Mmm. I mean, she could still die." Mindy said, nodding her head.

"What the fuck?" Amber said.

"Or the killer could come back for her." Mindy said.

"Fuck! Mindy, come on." Chad said, sending his twin sister a weird look.

"I'm just telling you, arm up, okay?" Wes said. "Pepper spray, check. Taser, check."

"Girlfriend repellent, check." Amber said, causing everyone to laugh but Wes and Aurora. "Hey, everything okay, Ro?"

"Hmm." Aurora hummed, snapping out of her daze at the sound of her name.

"Amber asked if you were okay?" Wes

spoke to the girl beside him.

"Y-yeah, I just didn't get much sleep last night that's all." Aurora said, sending the group a fake smile as she rubbed her arm up her shoulder.

"I call bullshit." Mindy spoke from beside the girl, gaining her attention. "What's really going on?"

"D-did you guys get a weird call last night?" Aurora asked, looking around at the group.

"A call like what? What's your favorite scary movie?" Amber spoke jokingly, causing the group to chuckle.

"No, not exactly." Aurora said, quickly wiping the tears from her eyes.

"Hey, hey, what's going on Rory?" Chad said, leaning forward toward the girl, causing her to lock eyes with the boy.

"The killer called my last night from Tara's house." Aurora said, looking around at the group with a scared look.

"What did he say?" Mindy asked, leaning forward.

"H-he said he was going to do the same thing he did to Tara to me." Aurora explained, letting some tears fall as she looked at the ground. "He said he was gonna gut me like a fish."

"Did you tell that to the police?" Amber asked, placing a hand on the King girl's shoulder causing her to quickly shake her head.

"They can really help." Wes spoke, grabbing the girl's hand. "My mom can help you."

"I know. I'll talk to her later." Aurora said, sending the boy a small smile.

"If that doesn't work. I can introduce him to Hobb and Shaw." Chad said, flexing his muscles.

"I don't think that's necessary." Aurora said, sending the boy a small smile. "But thanks for the offer."

"Hmm. Tara says she fought back hard. You've got bruises." Amber spoke up, causing the group to look over at Chad's brushed up arm.

"It's from football practice." Chad said, covering up her arm as Aurora felt her phone buzz in her pocket.

"Guys, Tara's awake." Aurora said, reading the message from her phone, quickly standing up from her spot at the wooden picnic table. "She just texted. I'm going to go see her. Anyone coming?"

"Yeah." Most of the group spoke, standing along with the girl.

"Oh, uh... I can't. But I'll meet you guys later." Liv explained, causing Aurora to look at the but quickly looked away as Chad went in for a kiss.

"Come on guys." Aurora said, quickly walking away from the tables causing the other four teens to quickly follow after her.

"Hello." Aurora called, slowly swinging the hospital door open, revealing an awake Tara Carpenter.

"Rory." Tara said, slightly above a whisper as tears filled her eyes.

"Hi." Aurora said, feeling the tears well up in her eyes as she quickly walked over to her best friend, pulling her into a hug. "I thought I lost you."

"I thought I was gonna die." Tara said, letting some tears fall. "I heard you were there when they found me."

"Yeah. I got a call from your house. I thought it was you." Aurora said, slowly taking a seat beside the girl.

"Ghostface." Tara said, causing the girl to nod with tears rolling down her eyes. "Did he hurt you?"

"No, I haven't seen him yet." Aurora said, shaking her head. "But he did let me know I was on his list."

The sound of the door swinging open caught the attention of the duo.

"You're awake." Amber said, rushing into the room, going to Tara's side, pulling her into a hug. "Thanks for waiting for us, Ro."

"Sorry, I had to see her." Aurora said, rubbing her arm, feeling a hand touch her back, causing her to turn to see Chad and Mindy beside her with Wes by Amber as they circled around Tara's bed.

"I'm so happy to see you guys." Tara said, sending the group a small smile.

The King girl sat in the hospital with her friends as they talked with Tara.

Aurora nervously shook her leg and tapped the chair arm as the clock clicking was the only thing she heard.

Chad covered the girl's hand, causing her to stop moving as she looked over at his hand on top of hers.

The sound of the door slowly creeping open caught everyone's attention as Sam Carpenter and an unknown man entered the room, causing the teens to stand.

"How are you feeling?" Sam said, finally training her eyes to her little sister in the hospital, crouching down to her level.

"You came." Tara said, looking at her sister surprised.

"Of course I came." Sam said, looking from Tara to the guy behind her. "This is my boyfriend Richie."

"It's so nice to meet you. I'm sorry if I'm intruding." Richie said.

"Nice to meet you too." Tara said, sending the guy a small wave.

"Rory." Sam said, approaching the girl, pulling her into a tight hug. "How you doing kid."

"I've been better." Aurora said, sending her a small smile before Sam moved onto to greet the others.

"These are Chad and Mindy, the twins. That's Wes and Aurora." Sam said, making her way back to Richie. "I used to babysit them all."

"Which is always how I like to be introduced." Wes jokes, causing everyone to chuckle lightly.

"And Amber. Hey." Sam said, finally looking over at the girl at her sister's side.

"Hi. Nice to see you." Amber skas, forcing a smile.

"H-hi. I'm Richie." Richie said.

"Where's Mom?" Sam spoke finally, noticing her mothers absence.

"She's stuck at a conference in London with Ms. King." Tara explained. "She called me earlier."

"Yeah, for all of ten minutes." Amber muttered. "Uh, look, guys. Tara's really tired. Maybe we should just give her some space."

"Yeah." Everyone agreed, looking around at each other.

"Not you, Sam." Tara spoke up, looking directly at her sister, causing everyone to stop. "I want you to stay."

"Okay." Sam said, agreeing with her sister.

"But the rest." Chad said, looking back at the group causing everyone to nod as everyone headed out the door.

"I'll be right there." Aurora called after the group before turning to Tara.

"If it's okay with you, I could sleep here tonight." Sam offered, looking down at her sister.

"I'd really like that." Tara said, nodding her head.

"Do you have your extra inhaler?" Amber questioned, bending down to the girls level.

"Yeah, I'll be fine." Tara explained.

"Okay." Amber said, turning and grabbing her things before looking directly at Aurora. "I'll wait for you outside."

"Thanks." Aurora said, sending the girl a small smile before turning back to Tara as Amber walked out with Sam's boyfriend. "I'll be back tomorrow. Do you need me to grab anything from your house? You laptop, your pink fuzzy blanket, monkey?"

"You don't have to do that. I can always go get that stuff." Sam said, shaking her head.

"It's fine, I'll be in and out." Aurora said, smiling at the older girl before looking down at Tara. "Text me if you need anything else."

"Kay." Tara soad, smiling lightly at the girl. "Bye."

"See ya." Aurora said, sending a small wave before heading out the door.
