4-Friends
I didn't expect this shit to get so much love so quickly! I'm so glad that this is already getting so much love, especially since I'm very excited for this!

Over the past year, I've made a good few friends! There's John, who turns out to be from South Carolina, and has recently moved here, there's Peggy Schuyler, who's possibly one of the most energetic people I know, and there's Aaron Burr, who is possibly the only person I know who could drain the life from the room just by blinking.
I'm a senior now, with John and Peggy already in college, which sucks, since I'm going to be stuck with 'Buzzkill Burr' for another year. Woooooo....
I sighed as Aaron sat down at a lunch table. Despite him being a Junior, we still somehow managed to snag the same lunch period.
"So, who're you gonna take to prom?" Burr asked, taking a bite from his lunch that consisted of god-knows-what.
I shrugged. "I might not even go."
"What!? Why!?"
I shrugged. "I don't do dances."
"Neither do I, yet I'm still going." He sighed when I refused to respond. "Who knows? You might snag yourself a girlfriend there."
"Or boyfriend." I countered.
"Or boyfriend." Aaron chuckled, taking another bite of his lunch. "Speaking of which, I heard a new kid transferred here today."
"What grade?"
"Uh, sophomore, I think."
I rolled my eyes. "Then why would I care?"
Aaron shrugged, before waving someone over to us. It was a boy, he looked to be about 15ish. He was wearing an oversized greyish sky blue sweater, and jeans. He had short curly hair, icy blue eyes, and was quite short in stature.
"Hey kid, you seem lost." Aaron said as the boy sat down.
He shrugged. "I guess I am. I didnt expect the cafeteria to be so full."
"Eh, you get used to it." I said. "You're the new kid, right?"
He nodded. "Uh, y-yeah! I just moved here recently, actually, heh."
"Oh?" Aaron asked, intrigued. "Where're you from?"
"Virginia." He replied, smiling a big braces-filled smile that was full of pride.
"Damn, everyone's from the countryside, it seems." Aaron commented.
"I ain't." I retorted. "I ain't even from the damn country."
"Where are you from then, if you don't mind me asking?" The boy asked.
"The Caribbean." I replied, giving him a pride-filled smile. "Nevis, to be exact."
The boy mumbled something incoherent as he took a sip of whatever is in his thermos.
"What's your name, anyway?" I asked him.
"Oh! My apologies! I'm James Madison." He introduced himself. "And y'all are?"
"Alexander Hamilton." I replied. "Just call me Alex though."
"Aaron Burr." Burr said. "And please, for the love of god, don't call me A-A-Ron. I already have him calling me that." He pointed to me, emphasizing the him.
I rolled my eyes. "Shut up, A-a-Ron." I smirked, knowing how much it pisses him off.
Burr rolled his eyes, grinning slightly as the bell rang, indicating the lunch period to be over.
"Here." James said, giving the two of us a slip of paper with a phone number on it. "I don't know anyone here, and I'd like to keep in touch with the only two people who could be potential friends." He smiled a goofy smile, getting up and grabbing his bag. "I'll see y'all!"
And with that, the tiny boy left.
