TAI POV
I wake up, only to discover that Matt has wrapped his arms around me, holding me tightly. For the strangest reason, this felt nice. 
I relax, leaning my head against his chest and listen to him breathe. I feel like I've slept for days. What happened? Does Matt know?

"Matt..." I cough out the name, my throat is dry. I look around, but there's nothing to drink.
"Matt." I repeat, much more firmly this time. He jolts, and opens an eye.

"Hmm...?" 
"I'm thirsty. I need some water" He gets up, walking to the large doors that lead to the hall. Matt talks to someone standing outside. A guard or a maid no doubt. He returns to the bed, pulling into another hug. I lay my head on his shoulder, smiling to myself.
"Monica will bring us some water" He kisses my forehead, lovingly. "Do you want anything else?"

"No, just water" I purr. I look up at him, staring deep into his eyes. He looks back, slight confusion crossing his face. I lean in, pressing my lips against his and melting into his warmth. This was love. Real love. I could feel him relax, and smile. I pull away, this newfound emotion still pounding in my chest. Could it be, he truly did love me? I smile at him, my eyes filled with wonder and amazement.

"Why is it, that you're the only person who makes my head spin?  Every time you look at me, I feel as though my chest is going to burst. When I'm with you, I so heavy. Like gravity is getting ready to knock me down at your feet. You make me so happy. I'll always love you for that...."

I feel him sigh. This man, who once chased me like a prize. This strange being, that I now love.
