Wish Elvis was out on DVD already so I could watch while writing 😭😰 would take away from Diedre's bitchiness.

"Kristina?"
"Yes, mom. It's me-! Eleanor is with you?!"
My hands jerked the wheel, mind attempting to remain sane.
"Of course, dear. Is everything alright?"
Okay. Maybe hearing about the divorce announcement didn't warrant driving like some madwoman but really.
Mama bear was now free.
"Sort of. Meet me out front so we can congregate to the living room. There's something to watch pronto."
Without providing much of an argument, Emma hung up giving me the best answer possible:
Let's do it.
Once reaching her monstrous cabin, there was no need to mince words; I led her towards the flat screen, whilst taking Eleanor in my arms.
She grinned, unaware of any issues going on.
When the television lit up, it was clear we'd caught the pre-recorded interview just in time.
God.
There was Hero and his grandmother smiling at each other in earnest.
Something was amiss; they were all smiles and laughter, but sincerity had been lost on them.
None whatsoever.
It was like a perfectly orchestrated event that was more of a habit.
What was she doing to him?
Emma grasped onto my arm as both Hero and Diedre began speaking to the willing host.
She was a high-spirited woman with pristine clothing.
"How good it is to see Granny Tiffin out and about."
At this notion, Diedre glowered.
"Prefer Mrs. Tiffin, if you don't mind. My age isn't a secret but I do well to maintain everything."
Mrs. Tiffin.
Sicko.
From an outsiders perspective, the endearment would made sense. But from an insider's perspective...
No.
It was gross. Didn't need to elaborate on that one.
"Of course, Mrs. Tiffin. It was quite the shock hearing about a Surprise interview."
"Well, Roslyn. There's lots of unpack. First... I will be taking back all assets The Tiffin corporation has to offer."
Gasps erupted from the audience as well as my own mother.
Yeah. No way that wench would be stealing anything from us.
"How so?"
Diedre sighed, taking old of Hero's hand.
"Makes the most sense. My poor, poor grandson is lost. Now having to fight for the custody of his own child, this terrible girl he's been forced to coerce with is fighting divorce."
"Kristina Tiffin. She seems so sweet."
Diedre look right at the camera.
"She is not. Best believe that assistance with separating her from small defenseless Eleanor- our baby- is the best plan of action. We-!"
Unwilling to listen further, I shut off the TV, enveloping the cabin into silence.
Emma stared blankly.
"That's the way she wants to play?"
So it would seem.
"Mom. Can we get ahold of Billy. This needs to happen now."
