Hey everyone!! I thought Somo was a good choice. ^_^

"Oh my god!" Josephine screamed, going to console Chad. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah." Chad said, cupping his chin. "He just took me off guard that's all."

As Josephine helped Chad to his feet, I saw that the excited crowd around us were now dispersing with dissatisfied grumbles.

I watched as Hero reached the frat porch, allowing none other than Kylie to wrap her arms around him. He didn't try to push her away or tell her he didn't want her around.

He simply looked into her eyes, like they had known each other forever and slung his arm around her shoulder as they made their way inside.

I felt something within me sting. Some things didn't change.

I felt my eyes water as Josephine made her way over to me. I quickly wiped at them as she called for me.

"Hey- what's wrong?" She asked.

"He's such an asshole." I choked out between sobs.

"Oh, don't worry." Josephine laughed. "If I know my brother, he didn't get too roughed up."

"No, it's not that," I whispered so Chad couldn't hear me. "He and Kylie are still messing around. I saw them by the house. I can't do this-"

Josephine scrunched her brows together. "Do what?"

"Let Chad take me out. It's too crowded here- I have to get back!"

"But we came all this way." Josephine begged. "Don't think of it as a date. Let's just go as friends. All three of us."

I nodded. She was right. I couldn't let Hero get to me. I had to really let go of my feelings for him and do what I planned to: have a good time with friends.

When Chad finally made his way to us, he had managed to clear the majority of the blood off his face, looking relatively normal.

"Well, despite all this," he began. "The music's bumping, right ladies?"

Me and Josephine looked at each other grinning.

With Chad grabbing my hand and Josephine on his other side, we all walked inside. The music was just as loud as I remembered, but everyone inside were acting more erratically than ever.

They were dancing.

Feeling inspired by a girl rubbing up against a frat boy, I twirled like some experienced ballerina, latching onto Chad's neck.

"Woah," Chad exclaimed, "I didn't know you were a dancer,"

"I'm not!" I laughed. "I don't even know why I'm doing this!"

Chad chuckled, throwing his head back looking like someone much younger. Josephine, on the other hand, looked quite uncomfortable, walking off in another direction.

As Chad and I continued dancing, the room had become stuffier and our bodies were like magnets, grinding and gyrating to the beat.

I felt Chad's mouth linger on my neck, then slowly travel to the corner of my lips...

I pulled away, not wanting to kiss him. This wasn't what I wanted. At least not from him.

"I'm sorry," I whispered into his ear. "I can't... it doesn't feel right..."

As Chad stared at me I saw the pain in his eyes.

"You wish it was him?" He guessed.
I didn't have to answer for him to understand.

"I get it." He went on. "I'm never anyone's first choice anyway. Excuse me."

As soon as Chad hurried off, I buried my face in my hands. This had been my first real date and I'd messed it up. Would any of this ever get easier for me?

Just as I looked to up to begin to find her, Josephine hurried over with a clear cup in her hand containing blood red liquid.

She didn't-

"Hi!" She squealed as she drank the remaining liquid in her cup. "So this guy over there gave me this punch-!"

"Jo," I said, my voice growing shaky, "that's not fruit punch."

She raised an eyebrow. "Then why would he say it was?"

I snatched the cup, taking a deep sniff.

"Jo, you're not going to be feeling good. This fruit punch someone gave you was spiked with alcohol."

Josephines eyes slowly widened. She then began grabbing fistfuls of her hair, having a mental breakdown.

"I've never been drunk!"

I sighed. "It's okay. Let me go find you some water. I'll be right back."

As I turned and made my way to the adjoining kitchen I was grabbed by the wrist. Getting ready to yell at whoever had hold of me, I found myself face to face with Hero.

"Would you let go of me?" I demanded. "I'm busy."

"I know," Hero said through clenched teeth. "I saw you dancing with that fucker."

"Please," I begged, "Josephine is drunk I need-"

Hero let go of me, looking astounded. "Josephine? Josephine Langford is drunk?"

I shook my head not wanting to talk about her personal buisness. "It's a long story."

"Can we talk?" Hero asked.

"No."

As I tried to walk away, Hero grabbed ahold of my arm with an even tighter grip. "Please... I need you."

Yanking away, I folded my arms.  "Obviously not much. I saw you with Kylie."

Hero shut his eyes tightly. "It's not what it looks like."

I spun around, having a well- rehearsed comment to make. "The hell it wasn't! I saw you letting her put her grimy fingers around you!"

Hero's grasp became softer on my arm as he took ahold of me once more.

"Please. Let me explain. I've been out of line lately. I know that, but I need you to keep me sane."

I scoffed not giving him any satisfaction.

"You have to admit you feel the same," Hero said, trailing a finger down my arm to rest near my hip. "That you've been longing for my fingers to be inside you again."

"Hero..." I whined.

Hero now leaned in closer, pressing his lips to my ear.

"If you want me gone just say it."

I wanted more than anything to be able to pull away and tell him I wanted him gone, but I couldn't. I felt his touch creating a want within me. I wanted more.

"Take me," I whispered without a second thought.

Hope everyone had a good holiday.

Love you all <3
