Hero kneaded my backside as he trailed a hand slowly up the length of my dress to find a breast.

My nipple instantly puckered at his touch, making a chill run through my body. 

"You mean to tell me you haven't worn a bra all day?" He whispered. 

"I didn't have a choice," I breathed, rubbing against his crotch.

I wanted him and I wanted him now. 

Who gave a hell about public decency?
 
"I hope to fuck Cole got a good look at you," Hero said, biting down on my earlobe, making me feel it in the depths of my groin. "It'll torture him even more knowing he can't have what's mine."

Still teasing my nipple with a finger, Hero grabbed ahold of my hips, tugging me onto his hardened erection.

"Do you want this?" he demanded, his voice like melted chocolate. 

"Yes," I whined, "I want this."

"How bad do you want it?" He asked, pulling on a fistful of my hair. 

I knew this should have hurt, but it only filled me with more anticipation.

I shoved back against him, arching so he could fill my entire breast in his large hand. 

"Just fuck me already!" I ordered, feeling impatient with his games. 

"Your wish is my command,"

With a laugh, Hero let me go, dropping an item to the ground.

I then heard him unzipping his jeans, pushing against my entrance.

As he eased his way inside me, I could already feel how he'd grown. It felt tighter somehow, filling me to my core. 

Like an expert, he wrapped a bundle of my hair, yanking as hard as he could. He then grasped my hip, angling me so I was fully exposed. 

Then, with a force I'd never felt, he slammed into me. I gasped, the breath stolen out of my lungs. 

Oh, it was deep this way.

Hero seemed to be experienced in this position, slowly drawing back, only to slam into me forcefully, making me feel the pure bliss. 

Taking charge, he took my chin as he pumped continuously, enveloping my mouth with his, stealing my breath with every kiss. 

In the moment, I bit down on his bottom lip, pushing back to meet his every thrust. 

I knew the desk was making a commotion and pushing off my files, but I could have cared less.

Hero was dominating me body and soul, and this was the only place I wanted to be. 

With him. 

As he gathered himself into a more comfortable position and spoke my name like a litany, an unexpected knock sounded at the door. 

"Kristina?" 

In the moment I couldn't tell who it was.
 
Hero groaned. 

"She's busy- last minute interview-!"
 
As I turned my head to look back at the door, Hero tugged on my hair once more. 

"No, baby. Focus. I'm going to come!" 

Quickly pulling out of my climax, I remembered how we hadn't thought of protection. God. How could I have been so careless yet again? 

"Hero!"

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw his twisted expression.

"Yes?"

"I want you to come on my body," I hissed though my teeth. 

"Are-are you sure?" Hero grunted. 

As soon as I nodded, he shuddered, immediately pulling out. Moments later, I felt a warm sensation hit my backside.

Easing his head on my back, he smoothed his hands over my shoulders. 

"I swear, you're going to be the death of me, Miss. Addison."

I took a minute to rest before turning on my back. Hero pulled up his jeans and slipped on his leather jacket.

He looked all sexy with his hair and clothes disheveled. 

As Hero waited for me to finish slipping my dress back down, he stared at me inquisitively. 

"Why did you ask me to come on you?"
 
I sighed, running my hands over my hair. I knew I'd have to come clean sometime. 

"Hero... I'm not on birth control."

At this, his eyes widened. 

"I took a pregnancy test this morning." I went on. "It did say negative, but... I wanted to be more careful." 

Hero nodded. "Fuck. I never thought about that. I guess we'll have to get you some. There's no way I'm using a condom. I need to feel all of you." 

I frowned at this. Didn't my opinion matter? It was my body after all. 

"Now there's something I have to tell you about." Hero huffed after a long moment.

I raised an eyebrow. "What is it?" 

"Diedre... wants to have dinner." 

I furrowed my brows in confusion. 

"Dinner? With me..?" 

Why on earth would she want that? 

"No..." Hero trailed off. "She wanted to have dinner with me. Alone." 

My breath hitched. 

"But I knew how you'd feel about that," Hero immediately added, "so I brought up the fact I wanted you there. She wasn't very happy. Especially not after I brought up her paying the waiter to.. burn you..." 

I pressed my lips together. "Does this mean that you believe me?" 

Hero scratched his neck uncomfortably. "Of course I do... I believe both of you..." 

I didn't know why but this infuriated me. I didn't only feel a strong pang of jealousy. It was also hatred for that woman. 

"Why would I want to go to dinner with her after she practically tried to kill me?" I snapped. 

"Here we fucking go again!" Hero scoffed. "Why do we always have to start this shit with a fight, Kristina? I thought we put everything behind us!" 

"I never put anything behind me!" I glowered doing my best to lower my voice. "She burned me! Do you not get that! I can't forgive her!" 

Hero threw his hands up dramatically.

"Well, I'm so fucking sorry I wanted to make amends between you two! If I'm going to have you both in my life, you're going to have to deal!" 

I turned around, tears filling my eyes. Here he was choosing her over me. 

"Please," Hero begged. "I can't lose you again. I'm trying to make peace and not fuck things up for once. Just humor me on this. If you feel uncomfortable we can leave." 

What had I promised myself? 

I'd promised that no matter what blockades Hero's life presented, I wouldn't give up.

I loved him too much to do that. 

"Fine," I spit, turning to face him with a red face, "I'll go, but you'll have to swear if I'm putting my emotions on the line, so will you. If your family treats me like crap... I want you to fight for me..." 

Hero caressed my cheek. " I know I'm a fuck up and never do the right thing. I'm going to try. For you." 

I nodded, staring around my office. 

"I'm feeling famished." 

Hero grinned. "So am I." 

He then rested his forehead against mine. 

"Just know that I love you. With everything I have."
